Mark Lavine's Podcast On The Mark
This podcast is dedicated to my fellow veterans, their families and friends. I research information about the services available to veterans and discuss stories surrounding the history of the VA and heroes who have served our country. I am a Vietnam Era disabled veteran and I have a love for our veterans and I want to help veterans to learn what services are available from the VA and other sources. I hope you continue to listen to Mark Lavine's On The Mark Podcast. If you have a story you would like me to share or a subject you would like me to research please contact me at marklavine51@gmail.com.
I look forward to hearing from you.

During WWII there was a need for aircraft to be flown to various points across the country. Male pilots were assigned to combat missions. This left a void for this need. Women pilots were hired to continue these flights. They were hired by the U.S. Army Air Corp. as private contractors to fly military aircraft. This is their story. In 1977 President Jimmy Carter signed an executive order to offer these brave pilots veteran's status.
