00:02:32.440 anniversary and we've been to 54 Nations

00:02:36.599 uh in five continents and uh there was

00:02:39.560 one time uh when I received the

00:02:41.599 prophetic word as a child and the Lord

00:02:44.120 spoke to me and said there will be a

00:02:45.920 time in your lifetime where you will

00:02:47.840 forget how many cities you've been to

00:02:49.760 and how many airports you will be to in

00:02:52.280 you know and so that prophetic word has

00:02:55.400 come to pass now looking back because

00:02:58.040 obviously I don't remember how many

00:02:59.360 cities I've been been to and how many

00:03:01.120 airports you I forgot the the count I

00:03:03.720 know how many nations have been to but

00:03:05.360 not the uhu the number of airports so

00:03:08.200 the Lord has definitely come through and

00:03:10.040 fulfill his word and we have seen

00:03:12.680 hundreds of thousands of souls come to

00:03:15.799 Jesus in the last 25 years and so the

00:03:18.480 journey continues it's exciting to see

00:03:20.519 what the Lord is about to do in 2024 and

00:03:23.319 moving forward over the next decade

00:03:26.360 everyone is believing that over the next

00:03:28.319 decade we're going to see a great gospel

00:03:31.439 explosion great gospel Harvest all over

00:03:34.000 the world and so we're excited to share

00:03:37.040 what God is doing and also to help you

00:03:39.519 today overcome you know some of those

00:03:42.680 issues areas in your life where you need

00:03:45.040 healing so for me it is a great blessing

00:03:50.439 you know one of the reasons why we're

00:03:52.120 doing this podcast on repurposing our

00:03:54.519 pain is because many of you have a call

00:03:58.120 of God in your life many of you have

00:04:00.959 prophetic words where the Lord has

00:04:03.000 spoken to you about your purpose and

00:04:05.680 you're wondering why am I stuck what is

00:04:09.159 stopping me from moving forward why do I

00:04:11.680 keep cycling around the same mountains

00:04:14.400 having the same conversations repenting

00:04:16.720 of the same sins why do I keep ending up

00:04:19.959 back at square one when I know I'm

00:04:22.840 supposed to be moving forward and one of

00:04:25.560 those reasons could be that there is

00:04:28.840 pain that we have not repurposed pain

00:04:31.960 that is residual like mindsets that keep

00:04:35.160 going around and around that stop us

00:04:38.560 from moving forward and so today one of

00:04:42.160 those that we're going to talk in talk

00:04:44.120 with Alejandro about and delin is the

00:04:47.440 pain of the fear of rejection and so

00:04:51.520 today I'm just going to let Alejandro

00:04:53.680 talk about his experience with rejection

00:04:56.400 and how that could have stopped his

00:05:00.080 ministry before it even got started so

00:05:03.320 go ahead yes so I was sharing with you

00:05:06.400 outside of cameras what the Lord had to

00:05:09.400 do you know uh in my life as a child to

00:05:13.919 help me overcome that pain of rejection

00:05:17.280 obviously I never felt rejected by my

00:05:20.080 family um I did experience bullying at

00:05:22.960 school because I was a very different

00:05:25.039 child you know one time and I even talk

00:05:28.240 about it in my book boy preacher

00:05:30.199 there was one time where one of my

00:05:32.240 classmates his name was Diego is Diego

00:05:34.639 he's still alive he grabbed me by the

00:05:36.800 collar you know pinned me against the

00:05:38.440 Blackboard and he said oh I'm going to

00:05:40.680 give you a beating because I hate the

00:05:42.880 way you preach and I hate the way you

00:05:44.400 talk about Jesus all the time so he was

00:05:47.520 about to punch me in the face and thank

00:05:50.520 God the bell rang and I was safe by the

00:05:53.199 Bell and that's actually the subtitle of

00:05:55.400 the of that chapter Saved by the Bell

00:05:58.800 and I'm sure you're famili ear you know

00:06:00.919 of that show very popular in the '90s

00:06:03.000 you know being Saved by the Bell and

00:06:05.759 obviously I experienced bullying

00:06:08.520 rejection from my friends even from

00:06:10.800 people that couldn't understand why I

00:06:13.199 was such a different child you know was

00:06:15.400 not your typical child I was very

00:06:17.680 different and and the Lord placed his

00:06:19.800 calling upon my life ever since I was 5

00:06:22.479 years old so growing up you know uh

00:06:26.720 being raised in a Catholic Family uh you

00:06:30.120 know my family they were not they were

00:06:34.039 not faithful Catholic church goers they

00:06:36.639 were nominal but I always had this

00:06:39.319 strong faith in Jesus even as a child

00:06:42.720 even as a 2-year-old and this is part of

00:06:45.720 my testimony um I always had the strong

00:06:49.520 conviction that I wanted to serve God

00:06:52.039 that I wanted to tell my friends about

00:06:53.639 Jesus I wanted to learn more about Jesus

00:06:56.680 and so uh every time I went to mass and

00:06:59.599 you know this happened obviously when my

00:07:01.759 parents went to mass uh occasionally

00:07:04.759 they wouldn't go often they would go

00:07:06.599 like once in a blue moon but every time

00:07:08.599 I went to mass I would listen to the

00:07:10.319 priest and I would just you know just

00:07:12.879 savor every word I would just sit there

00:07:15.720 and listen intently and memorize every

00:07:18.560 single word and one time um I told my

00:07:21.919 parents you know I want to become a

00:07:23.280 priest I want to do this so I want to

00:07:25.560 have my play mass and so I actually did

00:07:28.319 it I had like a read enactment of the

00:07:30.879 mass uh in my father's garage and I

00:07:33.840 invited my friends you around the

00:07:35.599 community I went around knock the doors

00:07:37.280 and I said hey come come no come to my

00:07:39.599 mass and I invited all the kids in the

00:07:41.560 neighborhood and they thought it was

00:07:43.720 hilarious I was inviting them to a

00:07:46.440 Catholic mass you know but it was a play

00:07:49.000 mass and uh I just told my friends hey

00:07:52.199 just come around we're going to have a

00:07:54.759 time of prayer and we're going to have

00:07:56.319 communion they didn't know what that was

00:07:58.080 I say it's not exactly a recipe for

00:08:00.080 fitting in with the crowd

00:08:01.960 no but my my friends always thought that

00:08:04.840 I was the odd kid you know the they

00:08:07.680 actually had a nickname for me in the

00:08:09.560 community they call me the baby priest

00:08:12.560 you know that was my that was my

00:08:14.680 nickname in the community because I was

00:08:17.319 such an odd kid you know in fact my

00:08:19.840 parents thought that I was going to be a

00:08:21.639 priest because we have one in the family

00:08:24.199 from my mother's side they're all

00:08:25.599 Catholics strong Catholics and so

00:08:28.120 obviously they thought oh well I guess

00:08:30.440 this is in the family and we're going to

00:08:31.759 have another priest and my grandparents

00:08:34.080 were very supportive and very excited

00:08:36.839 and they thought oh wow there's another

00:08:38.559 priest in the family so they actually uh

00:08:41.320 you know they all came together gathered

00:08:43.839 some uh money they wanted me to be the

00:08:46.480 uh alter boy so they bought me the

00:08:48.200 clothes and all the stuff you know to be

00:08:50.839 the alter boy and I did it once you know

00:08:53.680 and the reason I did it once I think the

00:08:55.279 Lord just allowed me to do it once and

00:08:57.040 that was it it's because I actually

00:08:59.519 misplaced the you know the Priestly

00:09:02.360 garments or oh no the uniform I left it

00:09:05.800 in the taxi on the way back home oh no

00:09:08.360 so I I know it it was uh quite a bit you

00:09:11.560 know for my f for my for for my family

00:09:14.920 to save up that money to buy it you know

00:09:18.000 and so I just left it for a kid you know

00:09:20.560 all you wanted all I wanted was to

00:09:22.800 obviously um you know pleased my parents

00:09:25.480 and I didn't you know turn down the the

00:09:28.519 um offer you know to be the the alter

00:09:30.720 boy so I accepted it and I was actually

00:09:33.720 very happy because it was to do with my

00:09:36.079 calling it was to do with what I felt

00:09:38.079 like I needed to be doing but anyway yes

00:09:41.640 uh to go back to that question I did

00:09:44.160 experience rejection experienced it at

00:09:46.800 school I experienced it you know with

00:09:49.360 the bullying going on because my friends

00:09:51.760 couldn't understand the calling when I

00:09:54.440 uh turned seven I accepted the Lord as

00:09:56.680 my personal savior so I gave my life to

00:09:58.920 Jesus and then obviously my my family my

00:10:02.200 whole family and it happened because my

00:10:04.040 mom gave her life to Jesus so she become

00:10:06.279 you know she became a born again

00:10:07.640 believer then I accept to the Lord like

00:10:10.399 two weeks later I went to a rally and I

00:10:12.320 gave my life to Jesus and then I became

00:10:15.079 a born again believer and so my family

00:10:17.760 my whole family except my dad my dad

00:10:20.160 didn't give his life to Jesus until

00:10:22.160 years later yeah but uh that I'm saying

00:10:26.560 that because there was a shift you know

00:10:29.079 and and uh you know all I wanted to do

00:10:32.519 as a 5-year-old and as a six-year-old I

00:10:35.000 wanted to be be a priest and I wanted to

00:10:36.880 go to you know the uh Seminary and I

00:10:38.880 wanted to study and so then I accepted

00:10:41.160 Jesus and then there was a shift and

00:10:43.279 then I began to think maybe I should you

00:10:46.240 know go into preaching maybe I will

00:10:48.720 become a pastor one day maybe I'll

00:10:50.320 become a a preacher one day you know so

00:10:52.959 there was a shift in how I was thinking

00:10:55.279 and the Lord then began to fill me with

00:10:58.320 this hi everybody

00:10:59.800 while I hate to interrupt a good

00:11:44.959 testament and I wouldn't let go of that

00:11:47.040 new testament I would read it every day

00:11:48.959 you know take how old are you at this

00:11:50.880 point I'm seven yeah so so I'm taking it

00:11:55.360 to school reading it in my recess time

00:11:58.800 like and I became a nav evangelist

00:12:01.880 preacher just telling my friends about

00:12:05.120 Jesus all the time so obviously I had to

00:12:09.279 experience a lot of rejection you know

00:12:12.240 because my my friends couldn't

00:12:15.000 understand why I wouldn't want to play

00:12:16.120 with them you know instead of playing

00:12:17.959 with them I was like sitting there in a

00:12:19.920 corner reading my new testament you know

00:12:22.279 I had this sacred place so was a very

00:12:24.519 different very different childhood you

00:12:27.040 know to what you would normally pick

00:12:30.000 right uh of a childhood being and so I

00:12:34.240 remember I remember one time uh one of

00:12:38.160 my friends said so so what are you doing

00:12:41.360 and why don't you want to play with us

00:12:42.959 and why do you believe like you're

00:12:44.360 better than all of us just because you

00:12:45.800 read your new testament and I'm sure a

00:12:48.120 lot of Christian kids probably have to

00:12:51.800 uh endure that they have to listen to

00:12:53.680 those comments and it was very painful

00:12:55.639 for me because all I wanted was to get

00:12:58.279 you know gain more understanding wanted

00:13:00.279 to know more about Jesus and the limited

00:13:03.120 time I had school even during my school

00:13:05.120 recess I just wanted to sit there I was

00:13:06.839 basically enamored with the word you

00:13:08.600 know wow and so I wanted to read the

00:13:10.760 word read the New Testament so I did

00:13:12.720 experience that kind of rejection and

00:13:15.600 obviously coming from family members too

00:13:18.079 who uh didn't understand why I wanted to

00:13:21.880 preach like that you know they thought

00:13:23.880 oh maybe you should wait until you are

00:13:26.320 an adult until you go to school you

00:13:28.639 graduate

00:13:29.920 then you will preach and this is one

00:13:32.600 thing which I'll never forget and

00:13:34.519 obviously uh it's part of you know that

00:13:37.560 schooling you know of understanding what

00:13:41.040 God is doing in your life and why you

00:13:43.360 need to build your identity on Christ

00:13:45.639 because people will tell you things that

00:13:48.519 they're well-meaning they're well

00:13:50.320 intended they love you and they care for

00:13:52.800 you but sometimes they're not led by the

00:13:54.480 Holy Spirit and so they will tell you

00:13:56.000 things that are out of their emotion and

00:13:58.399 out of concern

00:13:59.880 because they think they're helping you

00:14:02.000 and so it's part of your you know your

00:14:05.639 your journey it's part of overcoming uh

00:14:08.480 in life is part of uh walking the

00:14:10.519 journey and I remember and with this I'm

00:14:12.399 going to finish this uh my pastor you

00:14:15.759 know my childhood Pastor one time he

00:14:18.880 called me out of a meeting because we

00:14:20.519 were doing this Bible um this Bible um

00:14:24.160 course like for 3 months you know and my

00:14:27.519 pastor said I see that you love to study

00:14:29.680 the word you come here every day youd

00:14:31.720 love to you know um talk to the other

00:14:34.920 students you're very engaged what would

00:14:37.120 you like to do what is it that you feel

00:14:39.120 the Lord is calling you to do and I said

00:14:40.920 I believe I'm going to preach the gospel

00:14:43.360 and he looked at me he said yeah but I

00:14:45.240 think you should go to school you should

00:14:46.839 get your degree you should you know uh

00:14:50.279 one day you will marry and one day when

00:14:52.160 you become an adult you will preach the

00:14:54.839 gospel and I remember as a child hearing

00:14:57.920 those words because I I knew the Lord

00:14:59.639 wanted me to preach now you know that's

00:15:02.639 how how I felt I strongly felt like the

00:15:05.000 Lord was calling me to preach then and I

00:15:08.000 felt devastated I went home and I was

00:15:10.480 crying and I was so sad and upset I'm

00:15:12.959 like God I want to serve you now not

00:15:16.440 when I'm an adult not when I graduate

00:15:18.560 not when I marryed because you know as a

00:15:20.360 child as a 9-year-old or 10-year-old

00:15:23.120 when you hear those words you know they

00:15:25.880 just they feel so distant yeah and and

00:15:29.120 that reality just feels so forign and

00:15:32.399 distant because you're a child you're

00:15:34.440 living your today you're not thinking

00:15:36.680 about your future so as a child to deal

00:15:40.000 with that kind of rejection was

00:15:42.480 difficult at times absolutely I bet

00:15:45.399 there are some people that are listening

00:15:46.680 to this right now and there were people

00:15:49.240 who were authority figures in your life

00:15:51.600 whether they were parents or older

00:15:53.360 siblings or teachers or coaches or

00:15:56.680 pastors priests who

00:16:00.040 uh who who spoke against or who

00:16:03.160 rejected your identity your purpose the

00:16:07.040 things that you knew in your heart that

00:16:09.120 God had specifically wired you to do and

00:16:12.160 be maybe uh you were a creative person

00:16:15.839 but your parents wanted you to be an

00:16:17.560 athlete or they expected you to live out

00:16:20.759 their dreams of being uh a doctor or a

00:16:25.160 lawyer and you wanted to become an

00:16:27.639 artist or or or you knew that God was

00:16:29.959 calling you to be an actor and to be a

00:16:32.519 Christian voice in in theater or drama

00:16:36.360 or you know whatever that whatever it

00:16:38.480 was that you knew that God had called

00:16:40.519 you to do and be that people couldn't

00:16:43.399 understand that didn't fit into their

00:16:45.639 Paradigm didn't fit into their

00:16:49.079 expectations and caused you to become

00:16:52.920 rejected by those people I'm sure that

00:16:56.360 it was a difficult thing and and a hard

00:16:59.040 ship for you and some of you listening

00:17:01.079 right now might be having memories and

00:17:04.280 having some flashbacks of things that

00:17:06.079 people spoke to you when you were a

00:17:08.280 child that might have lodged so deeply

00:17:11.919 in your heart maybe it actually stopped

00:17:14.880 you for moving forward and maybe this is

00:17:17.400 the season that the Lord is saying to

00:17:19.880 you I want you to go back I want you to

00:17:22.640 go back and forgive those people who

00:17:25.799 didn't understand who didn't know who

00:17:29.039 not filled with my spirit or we're not

00:17:31.280 praying about your destiny and your

00:17:33.360 purpose like we read in the Bible that

00:17:35.919 Mary even though she knew that she was

00:17:38.440 carrying the Son of God she still had to

00:17:40.600 store up in her heart as the mother who

00:17:44.080 was given the responsibility of raising

00:17:46.919 the Son of God she had to store up in

00:17:49.240 her heart all those words about the Lord

00:17:52.000 it was very interesting is you don't

00:17:54.880 hear Mary speaking a lot you don't hear

00:17:57.919 her spouting off until the very first

00:18:01.360 miracle of Jesus and then well and then

00:18:03.960 also when she does say to him why did

00:18:06.360 you you know do this to your father and

00:18:08.840 I when they had to go find Jesus but

00:18:11.640 she's harboring these things in her

00:18:13.080 heart so that she makes sure that she is

00:18:15.159 guiding and directing her son according

00:18:17.880 to the word of God and a lot of parents

00:18:19.760 don't do that and I'm sorry if your

00:18:22.120 parents didn't do that I know mine

00:18:24.039 didn't they did the best they could but

00:18:26.320 they weren't born again or spirit filled

00:18:28.559 and so they said some things and and did

00:18:32.360 some things that they thought were in my

00:18:34.400 best interest that were not that's right

00:18:37.400 talk about parents I I remember you know

00:18:40.440 and this part of my testimony too my

00:18:42.919 teachers they couldn't understand why I

00:18:44.919 was such a different child and why I was

00:18:46.799 preaching to my pencils I literally was

00:18:50.000 preaching to my pencils at one point in

00:18:51.640 my life and I know it was it it it was

00:18:54.080 like leaving in my own world and some

00:18:56.200 people say well that's a bit extreme why

00:18:57.880 were you preaching to pencils because my

00:18:59.960 my my I guess my friends didn't want to

00:19:01.559 listen to me so I wanted to get some

00:19:03.640 practice under my bell so whatever I saw

00:19:07.200 on TV I wanted to reenact it because I

00:19:09.720 had that creative mind and so I would

00:19:12.679 like lay down the pencils and preach to

00:19:14.760 the pencils and so I looked on the

00:19:16.559 outside like I was you know you know

00:19:19.039 talking uh giberish or you know or like

00:19:22.159 just uh speaking on my own like talking

00:19:24.760 by myself and people thought that's

00:19:26.559 weird and they immed mediately label me

00:19:30.840 you know like this kid has some kind of

00:19:33.120 mental issue he needs to see a

00:19:36.039 psychologist you know maybe a spectrum

00:21:33.880 conversation of Jesus but he I think he

00:21:36.840 told me that he didn't believe in God so

00:21:44.880 start evangelizing evangelizing him so I

00:21:48.279 told him my story how Jesus healed me
