"He told me all that I ever did." - the Samaritan woman in John 4:39
Yes, life is messy and integration of Jesus and faith with life often doesn’t look like what we thought it was “supposed” to or think it "should" look like. Are we shocked? We are literally told by Jesus that this life is full of trials. Yet we as we show up we can heal and grow in ALL God promises. He has after all, overcome. We can too.
He saved me. I can’t say it more clearly than that. Yes, Jesus has proven to me to be the ultimate answer. Has it been easy? No. It’s been 25 years of a winding road that he has made straight. As I continue to walk it out, I can’t help but testify - and to talk with others in their own unique places on the discipleship road. How amazing.
“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen." Ephesians 3:20-21

Fellowship: Claire Clark Talks About the Church and Loss Of Real Community
Is anyone else feeling the reality of how difficult it is to walk in real fellowship? It's not easy in this world! We all live such self contained lives. The days of "going to the well" or the community center or even consistent overlap at church seem to be largely over!
Yet. We are promised "more" in Christ. We are promised abundance. We are told we can walk in love, peace and joy. This isn't in a world without trial and tribulation. In fact we are promised those things too!! In Jesus most lengthy recorded prayer in John 17 he actually acknowledges this. He doesn't ask that we be spared, but rather given unity and protection from the evil one. It's pretty mind blowing that we can be held secure in him and that part of the way we learn how to stand in him is through being spurred on by one another through the Church! As messy and imperfect as the Church has always been, it is still the "bride of Christ" and the method God uses to refine us.
