Wellness + Worship: A Brief Scriptural Exhortation

How does one tap into the abundant life promised in scripture, and what does it mean to walk in true wellness through Christ? It is truly WAY more simple than you think. We receive it. We receive the wellness he has for us this moment. Nothing more, nothing less. Then DESPITE what this external realm throws at us, our feelings, even our behaviors, our stubborn patterns or neural gaps, we can walk with more and more confidence as the new creatures we are in Christ. We only have this moment, and we are called to love God and others in it. We can indeed receive what we need to do this presently. Welcome. This is a brief, exhortive word on wellness, packed with scriptures, and I do want to say that the Pharisees knew the scriptures. They ceased to listen to the Lord, god Most High, and interpreted through their own knowledge. We need the instruction of the Holy Spirit, through the blood of the Lord, Jesus Christ, to teach us what the word actually says, and so I invite you to pause briefly and invite the Holy Spirit to teach and instruct you through this living and active word of God. The Bible says some very distinct things, and our lens can cause us to be blind to receive them.

The Bible is not a health and wealth, prosperity word about wellness. The Bible is an absolute Jesus is more than a conqueror. Jesus has accomplished all. He has conquered sin and death. He has healed all our diseases and redeemed our lives from the pit. That is what the word of God is Jesus, high and lifted up, seated in the heavenly realms, us joint heirs with Christ. We can receive the fullness of all that we need. It says in 2 Peter we have all we need for life and godliness. We can receive that this moment.

John tells us that Jesus, when he's speaking to his disciples and to the Pharisees, he talks about the kingdom being in our midst. The eternal kingdom of the Lord, god Most High, is this moment in present relationship with Christ, with Jesus Christ. We don't have to understand all of the theological nuances, all of the mysteries. Our lives are hidden with Christ and God, it tells us in Colossians. It tells us that we have the mind of Christ. It tells us the first thing that we are called to is to love the Lord, god Most High, and to love others. This present moment, receiving, receiving the ministry of the Holy Spirit, for all of the wellness that we need, this moment for God's glory. And so I want to invite you. We can walk by the Spirit. We can receive that peace, that joy, that love. We can be yoked. This external realm fills a bunch of stuff out us. We saw Jesus agonizing in the garden. I bring it up all the time. We are meant to walk in this world. We are meant to walk in the shallows and to receive from the Father's hand his will, which is good and perfect. Jesus Christ descended into hell. He suffered our sin. He bore our sin on his shoulders, that cross, so that we can die to ourselves. In Galatians it says yet not I, but Christ. Christ lives in us. We are baptized with Christ into his death and raised up in his resurrection so that we can walk in newness of life. Whatever we need for life and godliness, whatever we need for wellness for his glory, is ours this very moment, and so please DM me If you want to talk more about it. I've got a ton of scriptures.

We can receive by the power within us. Ephesians says he is able to do exceedingly, more abundantly than we ask, her hope or imagine, according to the power that is at work within us. We need to be ones that receive, and so I invite you again to pause, receive that power that the Lord has for you. Today, through the resurrected Christ, we serve a risen Savior. We can pray, lord, help me to surrender, but we can also receive and say, lord, I surrender, I receive a new year, salvation. Yes, lord, I receive a new, the filling, the new mercies every day, and so if there's an area that you know that you are not walking in the victory of Christ in, I invite you to pause, and I'm going to say a prayer right now. Dear Lord, god most high, we do pause to receive a fresh, the mercy and ministry of your salvation. I say yes, lord, again. I think you that I can surrender all that. You will give me the power and the strength, moment by moment, to give up and pick up what you are asking me to walk in. I do receive your wellness this moment.

I pray for each listener listening that they would receive the present moment, wellness and ministry of your spirit. You overflow, our cups overflow. You walk with us through the valley of the shadow of death. Yes, we have trials and tribulations in this world, but we can receive that mercy and that goodness, that feast in the presence of our enemies. We will not lie down without lying down with you and you say we can lie down and rest in the presence of our enemies. We receive that peace, we receive that yoke, a fresh. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, you will be none. Deliver us from evil, amen. So listeners, receive the wellness he has for you today. It's specific for you and go in the peace and the joy and the blessing of the Lord Jesus Christ, despite what this external realm looks like or feels like at the moment. He's done it. We are new creatures. He's done it. Old man is dead. The new man is here. Let's walk in that reality and wellness Be blessed.
