Even as a believer, do you wonder if there must be more? Does it ever feel like your faith must be lacking something crucial because joy, peace, wellness and freedom are elusive? Do you ever feel like you're just like the "world" only also condemned because your Christian walk doesn't reflect what you think it should? Do you long for more passion for life and God?

I have wrestled with all of the above, and have come to know that we can indeed connect with a love so profound that it transforms every corner of our lives. Join me for this heartfelt episode, where I talk about an ever developing passion and ability to receive what Jesus won for me on the cross. I believe each of us can receive in far greater measure than we have perhaps realized.

Tune in for a message of hope, transformative love, and insight into my journey of more freedom.

Laurine:

Hello, this is Laureen from the Tini podcast and I am here today with a simple, specific word, and it is regarding the passion of God, the Father, for you, and that passion was so great that blood and sorrow, mingled down, poured out for you. And if you are not able to experience that reality of that sacrifice, then today I just want to say to you there is more and I believe that your Abba, father, I believe his heart is breaking because his daughters are not able to receive that truth of the love that he has poured out and this passion that he has for you. I believe that the enemy of your soul wants to put a stop from the receiving, and I've spoken many times before about how my receivers were broken. I could not receive the love of God and others because the enemy, or my past, my humanity, whatever it is, had effectively put an obstacle, whatever it is, had effectively put an obstacle, so I could not receive that love of the Father.

Laurine:

Some of you guys have watched my journey as it has unfolded. You have seen me walk in more and more transformation and freedom and joy and love and peace. It's not manufactured, it's received. The first step in removing that obstacle is a place of surrender not based upon feeling, but choice. I've told you before I started bowing and say, okay, I submit my body as a living sacrifice. Now, grant you, I was already a disciple of Christ. I had already chosen to follow Jesus. I was already a Christian. However, just because we have chosen to receive Christ as our Savior, it doesn't mean that we immediately walk in the fullness and freedom that he is one for us. We have to continue to show up to walk it out, but I do believe that there is a specific way that unlocks some of those mysteries. I believe I had a freedom day and then I've had to walk it out. You've heard me say that there were immediate releases where I received that love of the Father, but the more the reality of, the more that immeasurably, more than we can ask, imagine or think. I'm experiencing that in greater and greater measure. Now Is there more, always. God will never, never stop loving us more deeply than we can ask or imagine, and so I believe that so deeply, because of my experience with that and today, the word for you, my dear listeners, is your life hidden with Christ and God. Are you receiving that lavish love in the prayer, closet in worship, and if you're not, there is no condemnation. But I want to tell you there is more. There is more. I'd love you to call me or DM me. I'd love to pray with you.

Laurine:

Often I do believe that there is a specific assignment generationally spiritual warfare. Ephesians tells us we don't wrestle against flesh and blood. All over the Bible it talks about these obstacles, the strong man. It tells us that we are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus, but yet we still have to bind the spirit. Jesus even chastised Peter. Now, this was before the new covenant, before Jesus crucifixion.

Laurine:

But Jesus, or how? About going back to Jesus being tempted by the devil? We have to participate, we have to choose to remain in the vine and receive that love, and then we walk in confession. I think that often we forget that piece, that component. We do not have to succumb ourselves to fatalistic, hopeless, chronic things that are not of the Lord. A lot of the suffering that I have gone through I know now was a receiver problem. Our bodies are wired scientifically. Whether you believe in Jesus or not, look at the science. Why do you think they tell us all over the place, mantras, gratitude, meditation, shaking, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.

Laurine:

In our quest for wellness, we have forgotten to receive the love of the Father From the Garden of Eden. What was Eve's sin? She wanted more knowledge. They were perfect. God was the perfect Father. They still longed for more knowledge. She got distracted and she believed the deceiver. She believed him and she wanted more, and so she said yes. And then she deceived and got her husband on board too, and then they were both cursed. If you recall, eve from the garden was cursed with longing, having a desire for her husband that only the Lord, god Most High, could ultimately fulfill through that lavish love that he had. And I would love to talk more. There's so many fascinating parallels as we go back to the garden.

Laurine:

First mention of Father, son, spirit, our perfect triune, god, our Abba, father, the Lord Jesus Christ, crucified, raised by the power of the Holy Spirit, that same Spirit that is at work within us, that same spirit to receive that love, to walk in the beauty and the wholeness and the forgiveness and the lavish love to receive, to come to the table, to receive what Christ won for us, the fact that we are indeed more than conquerors, that we are dead, descended and alive to Christ, not only in our eternity, in a hypothetical way, but in the present moment, soul eternity, lavishly loved by Jesus Christ. Abba, father, the Spirit poured out upon us. I was taught about 20 years ago. I had my conversion experience and at that time I went through a class called Living Free down in Tacoma, and it talked about the four R's. Basically, it's the gospel we repent, we receive, we. Then we ask the Spirit to reveal if there's any spirit we've participated with that sets itself up against knowledge of Christ.

Laurine:

What is preventing you from knowing Christ? It's spelled out in the Bible. Is it bitterness? Is it judgment? Is it religion? Is it unforgiveness? I do think that the number one key is that unforgiveness. What are we participating in? Well, guess what? We don't have to ruminate grovel, seek a special healer, seek a special word. We can go right to the word ourselves and say Lord, you forgave me, I am going to forgive, I release, I repent, I receive.

Laurine:

Because if anything is distracting us from looking to the Lord, jesus Christ, our author and perfecter, whether it be emotional or physical sickness, if anything is preventing us from giving glory to God, the Father, to walking in passion, love, then we can know that that is something that Christ shed his blood for. Psalm 103 says that he heals our diseases, redeems our life from the pit. There's all sorts of verses all over the place Old and New Testament. New Covenant is all over the place. Old and New Testament, new Covenant too, new and Old. Jesus Christ, the Lord, god Most High, has won our victory, has pardoned us so that we can walk in newness of life.

Laurine:

And so, dear listeners, if you are not experiencing new life and again, we walk it out, and the Lord has provided all sorts of amazing resources but if you're distracted by chasing after knowledge or beauty or worth or love, or if you're feeling hopeless or fatalistic, or if you believe that there is something that our God is not big enough, would you reach out to me? I would love to come and pray with you. Reach out to me, I would love to come and pray with you. I would love to ask the Lord to reveal if there is an obstacle, specifically and again, we don't have to dig around for it. But if you are not feeling that lavish love of the Father, that passion for the Father, that is His will for you, in fact, that is His command.

Laurine:

So today, I pray that you will pause and say Lord, I want more. I want that immeasurably more by the power of your Holy Spirit. Teach me, instruct me. I want to seek after you, I want to find you. And you say if we ask, we will. And guess what? I've asked because I did not have a passion or desire for him or his word, even though I had accepted Christ as my Savior. I had to walk it out to grow in my love and my knowledge of the Lord, god Most High, and that's his desire for you too. What's preventing you? It's not his will for you. His will for you is hope, and hope doesn't disappoint. So go in peace and blessing today In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you for listening.
