Show Notes

The family separation crisis at the border happened quickly and lawyers played a key role in helping families. Efren Olivares, director of the Racial and Economic Justice Section for the Texas Civil Rights Project ("TCRP"), along with a dedicated team,  spent every day in court meeting and working with families. In this episode, we discuss what it is like to be at the center of a crisis, how lawyers have the power to offer solutions, how Efren decided to get involved and how TCRP is continuing to work to reunite families.
