Backline Chat w/Aimee Bolter Campbell, Host of Dala's House Concerts

SF Bay Area Live Music had the opportunity to interview Aimée Bolter Campbell, a Bay Area vocalist and the Host and Founder of Dala’s Nest House Concerts. Each event is characterized by an acoustic concert held in a garden setting.

In this episode, Aimée discusses the origins of the house concert concept and her extensive involvement in the San Francisco music scene. Since 2014, Dala’s Nest has hosted house concerts featuring 80+ artists from various regions, predominantly original songwriters, including both local and touring artists.

Dala’s Nest concerts attract listeners and musicians with diverse tastes. Each concert fosters interaction between the artists and guests, providing guests with the chance to meet the musicians. Designated as a “micro-venue,” the seating arrangement accommodates 30 individuals, requesting a $25 donation per guest, which is directly contributed to the artists. Dala’s Nest operates as a self-funded non-profit seasonal initiative dedicated to strengthening community through music.
