Once Upon a time (Gypsy Rose Blanchard)

WE ARE BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACKKKKKK!! What is up my crime crazy people? Welcome to season TWO of Veil of Humanity!! We are your hosts Melonie Yelvington and Kimberly Taylor!!!!!! Today we are bringing the interesting case of Gypsy Rose Blanchard.  A case that has brought many different opinions on whether or not a young girl should have been sent to prison or not for murder of her mother Clauddine “DeeDee” Blanchard in 2015. So grab your favorite beverage and a pillow  to scream into as we dive into this case!!  Just so yall know we are fans of the cursey words (and even though we will try our hardest not to use them) there still may be some! TW in place yall: mental health discussion, murder, stabbing, child abuse, sexual discussion, discussion of Factitious disorder imposed on another (FDIA) or induced illness by carers (FII) formally known as Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy or MSbP.  Also we want to note that this has been a controversial case due to discussion of whether or not Gypsy Rose should have been convicted as she is a victim of her mother’s abuse. There has also been some controversy surrounding her recent release on December 28, 2023. Please remember that we do want to present the facts of the case but we will also give our opinions on this case.
