I will be joined by my co-hosts Detective Burke, with over 31 years in, and Sgt RJ with over 15 yrs. Your mind will be taken on a wacky journey into some quirky and bizarre tales. Let's take a vacation to wonderful tropical Peru, destination - the Amazon...what did we find there...well a people of ancient times, whom have seemed to come right from the pages of history straight into our faces!
In this year of the 2026...it is astonishing, there are still places on our planet which remain undiscovered to this day. This goes for people and places...into the darkness we go!!!
On this episode we go straight into the unknown...the Mashco Piro Peoples, an uncontacted tribe in the jungles of the Amazon. Due to logging, forest mitigation, and industry we find ourselves face to face...people on one side say leave them the hell alone, people on the other side say no, they need medical care, aid, and studied...society versus religion, versus culture, versus the rest of the world...but we must know as a society, we can't look away. Well when we go there, it seems they try to kill us...well then don't go there anymore...stop taking their dammed trees and stuff...the story goes, they knew about us before we knew about them.
We leave Mashco Piro peoples and head to the Sentinel Islands in India...where we find our man John Chau who ventured to close to the island, fucked around and found out...
Brace yourselves for this one folks its a bumpy ride...if you wave at a person on the shoreline, and your hello is a volley of arrows...time to paddle off quickly, and have a pint in a local pub...chalk it off as a misunderstanding...this episode is not for people with soft sensibilities...sorry.
