In Episode Seven of Writing From Square One, Sofia and Georgia tackle the topic of writing style. How do you know what your writing style is? How do you develop it? Why is it important to know your style before you get published? It can, at times, be a difficult thing to pin down and identify, but once you do, it can be a lot more useful than you might initially think.
The girls also touch on a couple of their own unpopular opinions when it comes to writing tropes and characters in fiction. Passions run a little high as they discuss why they like and dislike certain tropes, while also mentioning how important it is to know what you like and dislike as an author. Please be reminded that this is all their opinion, and no one should experience shame in enjoying or not enjoying a particular element of fiction.
