Christen Clark [00:00:43]:
Hey, y'all. Merry Christmas. Welcome to the collide kids podcast. I'm your host, Christen Clark. The collide kids podcast is a show for kids and families where we learn together how life and faith collide. I am so glad that you're listening today. Thank you so much for being here and spending this time with me. If this is your first time listening, be sure to listen to the end of every episode.
Christen Clark [00:01:04]:
That's where we have the kids only segment where kids just like you get to be on the podcast. Well, I just wanna remind you that this episode as are all the others in this season are available on YouTube. So if you haven't checked out our YouTube channel, be sure to do that, and you can see the episode and what's happening, especially for today's episode. It's pretty special. Today's episode is the last one for the year 2024. I can't believe that. Our family has just a lot of fun things planned for the rest of this month, and we decided to take the last 2 weeks off. But I have lots of fun episodes that you might not have listened to yet.
Christen Clark [00:01:40]:
So you can go back in the catalog of all the many episodes and be sure to listen to some of your favorites or check out some new ones that you missed along the way. I have really great episodes coming up for you in January that I'm excited for you to meet the guest and the people that have amazing stories to share. So don't forget to subscribe to this podcast so that you get those when they do come out. Well, since it's the last episode, I thought we would try something a little different. I was thinking about what would be a good time for you as you drove around in the car. Right? The holiday travel can be a little more than we're used to being in the car. So this will be a fun episode definitely for you and your family to listen to as you're headed to grandparents' houses or you're out shopping or driving around looking at Christmas lights. We're gonna make this whole episode a game show.
Christen Clark [00:02:28]:
That's right. I've invited my friend, Reggie Sumpter, who is a pastor, and he is also the creator and host of the big game show. Reggie is gonna be our game host for today, and he will lead us through a few different games. I will be playing as well and answering some of the questions. So you can play with me, or you can pause before I answer the question so that everyone gets a chance to make their own choices. And, listen, I did not get everything right. So you can compete against me, and you might win. But it's still gonna be a lot of fun.
Christen Clark [00:02:58]:
Let's have some holiday fun together and play the big game show. Well, this has to be the probably the most fun episode I've ever done. So I am so excited to have Reggie Sumter here on the Collide Kids podcast. Welcome, Reggie.
Reggie Sumpter [00:03:23]:
Hey. How you doing, Christen?
Christen Clark [00:03:25]:
Good. I am so excited for us to do this today. Would you just introduce yourself first and tell us a little bit about who you are and what you do?
Reggie Sumpter [00:03:33]:
Well, absolutely. So, again, my name is Reggie. Glad to be here, first of all. And I have 2 jobs. So I have a very quiet job and a very loud job. My quiet job, which I love just as much as the loud job, is I work for Northpointe Community Church, and I developed content. Long time ago, I went to seminary to become a pastor, and I ended up in a large church. And when you're in a large church, you don't do all the things that a pastor does.
Reggie Sumpter [00:04:01]:
You Right. You do 1 or 2 things, and they want you to do that 1 or 2 things well. The part I've been given and which I enjoy is I write content. So I write curriculum, for small groups. I write bible studies. I write devotionals. That's what I do. So a lot of my job is research and thinking about what's gonna help people in their conversations in their homes and writing that down and getting getting it out.
Christen Clark [00:04:27]:
That's really cool.
Reggie Sumpter [00:04:29]:
On the side, which sometimes it's not a side, sometimes it takes it just as much time. I have a small business called The Big Game Show.
Christen Clark [00:04:36]:
Yes.
Reggie Sumpter [00:04:37]:
The Big Game Show travels around mostly to companies. So we do corporate events, and we bring live game show experiences to conferences or team meetings or year end celebrations, and it is a blast. There are there are 8 of us that do it. I kinda handle the business, and I I host, sometimes also. But there are 7 other people who, you know, we just get out there when a when a client calls, and we go and give them a great time, and then we come back home. So it's 2 very different careers that I've been juggling for a while, and I always tell myself I'm gonna lean one way or the other, and I just never can because I like them both.
Christen Clark [00:05:20]:
Yes. I understand that. And you are very good at your job, both as a content writer and as a game show host. In fact, you've done things for, like, football teams, right, and Chick Fil A and all those different Yeah.
Reggie Sumpter [00:05:33]:
Yeah. A lot of big companies, Chick Fil A and Home Depot and Microsoft and Yeah. A lot of small companies and throughout the years. But, yeah, we kind of, found our way into some college football niche as well. At the end of the year, when college football teams are, they're traveling to their bowl games, When they go to these cities, they don't they typically don't just come and play the game and leave. They have a 3 or 4 day tour of the city, and they'll visit kids in hospitals. And they'll the city will have different events for them just to make it a fun experience for these these college, student athletes. Some of the bowls, when the college teams get in town the first night, they will have a dinner, and they will do the big game show together.
Reggie Sumpter [00:06:21]:
So it's these 2 huge college football teams going head to head with game shows.
Christen Clark [00:06:27]:
Now does the game show help determine who wins the football game?
Reggie Sumpter [00:06:31]:
You know what? For the we we've done a lot for the Chick Fil A Peach Bowl. We've done that for
Christen Clark [00:06:36]:
Yeah.
Reggie Sumpter [00:06:37]:
I don't know, 12, 13 years.
Christen Clark [00:06:39]:
Wow.
Reggie Sumpter [00:06:39]:
And early on, like, the 1st 7 or 8 years, I'm like, yeah. The team that wins the game show thing wins the game.
Christen Clark [00:06:50]:
Wow.
Reggie Sumpter [00:06:50]:
And then after we got more of a larger sample size, we realized it didn't really matter. So
Christen Clark [00:06:56]:
We're like, wait. There's something here. Maybe it's, like, boosting their confidence a little bit.
Reggie Sumpter [00:07:00]:
Like That's right. Then
Christen Clark [00:07:01]:
We're good at game shows and playing football. Well, that's so fun.
Reggie Sumpter [00:07:04]:
Prognosticators, if you will.
Christen Clark [00:07:06]:
That's right. But the next big company that you're gonna do this for is the Collide Kids podcast. We are gonna play a game show today, and I think this would just be so fun for families to listen to as you're traveling, as you're driving, as you're setting up Christmas events or wrapping presents. This would be a fun activity for your family to enjoy together. So this is gonna be a lot of fun. So if you're listening to it in your earbuds, you need to put it on speaker and let everybody in the car or everybody in the house listen, because we're gonna have a really good time together today. Before we do that, because this is a show for kids, I always ask my guests to tell me a joke. So, can you start us off with a joke before we begin the game show?
Reggie Sumpter [00:07:47]:
I think I can. And only, I mean, I love jokes, but I just happened to tell this one to my kids last night, and now I've gotta get into character a little bit. So hey, guys. I was outside, earlier, and in our garden, there was a snowman out there, and he was looking through all of the carrots, like, checking them all out. I said, what what are you doing? And you know what he told me? I'm picking my nose. So
Christen Clark [00:08:19]:
He was picking his nose. Not like this way, but, you know, like, searching for the right one.
Reggie Sumpter [00:08:25]:
That's right. That's right.
Christen Clark [00:08:27]:
That's good. I love that. That was a good one. Alright. Let's start off this fun game show. What do you have planned for us today? And I'm happy to participate, and the families can participate as well. I think this is gonna be a lot of fun. So kick us off.
Reggie Sumpter [00:08:41]:
Oh, yeah. You, I definitely want you to participate. So Okay. Here's what we'll do. So, you know, when we're doing a live event, you know, people are responding and they're guessing and whatever. So what I'll do is I'll ask the question, and I'll just give you a little bit of time, a little bit of space to talk in your car or at your house or wherever you are or to think to yourself what you think the correct answer is before I before I tell the answer. Now when we do these shows, so we don't play just one game. So that's what we'll do here.
Reggie Sumpter [00:09:09]:
We'll play a few different games, just to mix it up a little bit. Well, the first game we'll play is called clap cattle and roll. Alright? Clap cattle and roll. So in this game, I'm gonna show you a question, and and I'll I'll read it out loud too in case you're you're not watching this on video. But I'm gonna ask you a question, and there are 3 options on what you think the correct answer is. If you think the correct answer is option 1, you will clap. If you think it is option 2, you you will moo. Like, yes, moo.
Reggie Sumpter [00:09:45]:
Alright? Okay. Or if you think it's option 3, that is a like a drum roll sound. You know, you're making a drum roll drum roll or something, your brother, whatever. Alright? So here we go. Let's, let's get into here is the first question, and it is, in what building does Buddy the elf's dad work? Alright. He works in the Empire State Building, 30 Rockefeller Center, or Gimbels. And what building does Buddy the Elsadab work? Alright. Now time's up.
Reggie Sumpter [00:10:18]:
You should be making a noise. Clap, calendar rolling. The correct answer is it is clap. He works in the Empire State Building. Empire State Building. So if you got that one right, nice job. Here's some classic Christmas movies. Which of these animated Christmas movies came out first? Alright.
Reggie Sumpter [00:10:41]:
So there's 3 of them there. Rudolph the red nosed reindeer, the Doctor Seuss, the original, how the Grinch stole Christmas, and Frosty the snowman. So which one of those came out first? Alright. Is it Clap, Cattle, or Rolled?
Christen Clark [00:10:59]:
I'm rolling.
Reggie Sumpter [00:11:00]:
It is. Oh, it's Clap. It is Rudolph.
Christen Clark [00:11:04]:
Oh, Rudolph.
Reggie Sumpter [00:11:05]:
Rudolph came out first, 1964.
Christen Clark [00:11:08]:
And then the Grinch. Okay.
Reggie Sumpter [00:11:10]:
Then the Grinch. That is right. Oh, here's a good one for the for for a lot of you parents. What was the most popular name for a baby boy in the 19 eighties? Oh. Boys born in the 19 eighties, most popular name, Michael Christopher Matthews. Some of you probably have that name, one of these names. Alright.
Christen Clark [00:11:35]:
Time now. They're gonna clap for Michael.
Reggie Sumpter [00:11:38]:
You're you're clapping for Michael. Cattle is Christopher, and roll is Matthew.
Christen Clark [00:11:44]:
Okay. I'm gonna say moo.
Reggie Sumpter [00:11:47]:
She's mooing. Moo. Is it clap, tell her to roll? Moo. No. It is clap. It is
Christen Clark [00:11:54]:
Clap again.
Reggie Sumpter [00:11:56]:
You're mooing for no reason.
Christen Clark [00:11:58]:
I'm mooing for no reason.
Reggie Sumpter [00:11:59]:
Just you're just mooing on your own. That's right. Alright. Here is here is one for you. BackRub was the original name of what company? Now so before before this company went public, they think, oh, we should name this company this, and then they decided not to. Alright? So was that Clap, which is Google, if you think it's lululemon,
Christen Clark [00:12:29]:
is that Lululemon.
Reggie Sumpter [00:12:30]:
Lululemon. Lemon. I'm really into that. Lululemon, it's cattle, and Bath and Body Works is a roll. It's one of those 3. One of those 3 said, oh, we should be called back rub. And
Christen Clark [00:12:44]:
Well, you know, since all of these have been clapped so far, I'm gonna clap.
Reggie Sumpter [00:12:47]:
Oh, you gotta go clap.
Christen Clark [00:12:49]:
For Google. Clap for Google.
Reggie Sumpter [00:12:51]:
For Google. Alright. Clap, counter, roll. Which one is it? It is Google.
Christen Clark [00:12:58]:
They were gonna call it back
Reggie Sumpter [00:13:01]:
rub? Yeah. That would have been a mistake. That would have
Christen Clark [00:13:03]:
been terrible.
Reggie Sumpter [00:13:05]:
I wonder if you'd have felt comfortable every time you search something. You're
Christen Clark [00:13:08]:
like, oh. Like, I need to go back rub this.
Reggie Sumpter [00:13:11]:
Oh. It does itself. The same. Relaxed as I search for batteries. Okay. The northernmost point in the continental US. So don't include Alaska. This is just the 48 states that are connected.
Reggie Sumpter [00:13:30]:
The northernmost point, the highest point is in what state? Maine, Minnesota, or Washington state? So Maine is Clap, Minnesota is cattle, and Washington is rural. What's the highest point in the lower 48 units?
Christen Clark [00:13:48]:
I'm gonna roll for this one.
Reggie Sumpter [00:13:50]:
She's rolling. Alright. Is it clap cattle or roll? It is cattle. It is cattle. Wow. It's a place called Angle Inlet, Minnesota, population 56. So it's
Christen Clark [00:14:05]:
I don't think that counts if you have less than a 100.
Reggie Sumpter [00:14:08]:
It's grinding.
Christen Clark [00:14:09]:
That's right. It's very northern. Right. Right. Wow. Okay. Minnesota.
Reggie Sumpter [00:14:15]:
Yeah. 44 of those are coyotes. So, you know probably are.
Christen Clark [00:14:21]:
Nice.
Reggie Sumpter [00:14:22]:
I guess wolves would be up there. I don't know. Yeah. Because the Minnesota Timberwolves are up there. I don't know.
Christen Clark [00:14:26]:
Yeah. There you go.
Reggie Sumpter [00:14:28]:
Okay. Okay. So let's jump to another game.
Christen Clark [00:14:30]:
Okay. That was fun. I love that.
Reggie Sumpter [00:14:32]:
Yeah. It's a good one. And when there's a big crowd in a room, it is crazy because everybody's making funny noises. So it's it's good. Alright. This next game is called Know It All. Now Know It All is kinda like a jeopardy game, but you guys are just playing on your own for fun, so we're not gonna have, like, teams. But here are, the categories, and we'll look at some of these.
Reggie Sumpter [00:14:57]:
US state first, cartoons, and company slogans. So, Christen, you know what? I'm gonna let you choose.
Christen Clark [00:15:07]:
Okay.
Reggie Sumpter [00:15:08]:
The only rule is you can't start from the bottom up.
Christen Clark [00:15:11]:
Okay. So US First's cartoons and company slogans. I'm gonna go with cartoons Cartoons. For 100.
Reggie Sumpter [00:15:18]:
100.
Christen Clark [00:15:18]:
Yeah.
Reggie Sumpter [00:15:19]:
Here we go. Okay. Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? Oh, you you know this one. Right?
Christen Clark [00:15:25]:
Well, that would be everybody sing it with me. SpongeBob SquarePants.
Reggie Sumpter [00:15:30]:
That is correct. It is SpongeBob SquarePants. SpongeBob SquarePants. Alright. Cartoons. You wanna go down to keep cartoons?
Christen Clark [00:15:37]:
Yeah. Let's keep going with cartoons.
Reggie Sumpter [00:15:39]:
For 200, what is the name of Scooby Doo's van? Oh. Scooby Doo's van?
Christen Clark [00:15:45]:
Is it the mystery machine?
Reggie Sumpter [00:15:49]:
Wow. That is a confident, tone you have. It's a mystery. Is it the mystery machine?
Christen Clark [00:15:55]:
Mysterious
Reggie Sumpter [00:15:57]:
That was it is the mystery machine.
Christen Clark [00:15:59]:
Machine. Yes.
Reggie Sumpter [00:15:59]:
Okay. Yeah. That's good. Okay. For 300.
Christen Clark [00:16:04]:
Yes.
Reggie Sumpter [00:16:05]:
Which ninja turtle has the blue mask?
Christen Clark [00:16:10]:
Oh, I know this one because when my brother was a little kid, he dressed up like this ninja turtle every year, and that is Leonardo.
Reggie Sumpter [00:16:18]:
That is absolutely correct.
Christen Clark [00:16:21]:
Yes.
Reggie Sumpter [00:16:22]:
Very nice. Alright. For 400.
Christen Clark [00:16:25]:
Okay.
Reggie Sumpter [00:16:26]:
Simba is the Swahili word meaning what? Oh. What do you think the word Simba means?
Christen Clark [00:16:38]:
Is it king?
Reggie Sumpter [00:16:41]:
King? What do you think at home, folks?
Christen Clark [00:16:45]:
Because he's the lion king.
Reggie Sumpter [00:16:47]:
The correct answer is it is lion. The word means Oh. Lion.
Christen Clark [00:16:54]:
So he was the other part of the title.
Reggie Sumpter [00:16:55]:
He was the other.
Christen Clark [00:16:57]:
So does Mufasa mean king? I gotta look that up. Yeah. There you go.
Reggie Sumpter [00:17:01]:
Is it Mufasa or Musa? It's Mufasa.
Christen Clark [00:17:04]:
Mufasa. Mufasa. Yeah.
Reggie Sumpter [00:17:05]:
Because I feel like that means lion also, but I'm not sure.
Christen Clark [00:17:09]:
They all mean lion.
Reggie Sumpter [00:17:10]:
Like, every word in Swahili means lion.
Christen Clark [00:17:13]:
So Except Takuna Batata, because that means no worries.
Reggie Sumpter [00:17:17]:
No worries. That's right.
Christen Clark [00:17:20]:
Let's go with company slogans next.
Reggie Sumpter [00:17:22]:
Alright. For 100, which company is known by this phrase, just do it? Oh, come on, folks. Everyone knows this. Right?
Christen Clark [00:17:30]:
It's Nike. Right?
Reggie Sumpter [00:17:32]:
That is correct. Yes.
Christen Clark [00:17:34]:
Okay. Good.
Reggie Sumpter [00:17:35]:
Alright. There we go. Company slogans. Okay. For 200. Which restaurant has this tagline? Eat fresh.
Christen Clark [00:17:45]:
Oh. I
Reggie Sumpter [00:17:45]:
feel that a little bit.
Christen Clark [00:17:47]:
Eat fresh. That's Subway? Is that Subway?
Reggie Sumpter [00:17:52]:
Yes. It is. Yes. Okay. It is.
Christen Clark [00:17:55]:
Listen. I know my, fast food. Okay?
Reggie Sumpter [00:17:57]:
I know. Okay. Let me ask you this. Okay. What restaurant gets most of your fast food money?
Christen Clark [00:18:04]:
Oh, definitely Chick Fil A.
Reggie Sumpter [00:18:06]:
Okay. What is well, then what is second?
Christen Clark [00:18:11]:
Probably McDonald's.
Reggie Sumpter [00:18:13]:
Wow. Didn't see that one.
Christen Clark [00:18:14]:
Yeah. Just a good classic cheeseburger and a and a diet Coke. That's that's the meal for me.
Reggie Sumpter [00:18:21]:
Like like a quarter pounder or, like, the No. The cheeseburger that comes in
Christen Clark [00:18:25]:
the food? The very thin one the very thin one with a little bit of pickle and onion. That's me. That's all I need.
Reggie Sumpter [00:18:30]:
That's it.
Christen Clark [00:18:31]:
That's it. Here's something controversial that I don't like revealing to a lot of people, but I don't like french fries. So I know. It's okay if please don't turn the podcast off right now, families.
Reggie Sumpter [00:18:43]:
Yeah. Folks. Oh, she's a normal human being.
Christen Clark [00:18:45]:
I can eat them. They're okay. It's just not my go to side item.
Reggie Sumpter [00:18:52]:
At any restaurant? Like
Christen Clark [00:18:53]:
I mean, I can have a few at Chick Fil A. I like their waffle fries.
Reggie Sumpter [00:18:57]:
Okay. They're pretty good. Great. No.
Christen Clark [00:18:58]:
I like the weird ones. I like the ones that have the skin on them.
Reggie Sumpter [00:19:03]:
They don't skin on the fries. Don't stuff.
Christen Clark [00:19:06]:
Well, I can go to
Reggie Sumpter [00:19:07]:
the next question. That's right. That's right. Don't leave me tell you about this company called BackRub. You're probably gonna like that also. Well, no. I mean, I found a McDonald's fry in my truck the other day, and it this it was still pretty good. And I haven't been there couple years.
Reggie Sumpter [00:19:22]:
Been there in months. So too. Thinking of Eat Fresh. Alright. For 300, who says this about themselves, expect more, pay less?
Christen Clark [00:19:38]:
Expect more, pay less. Walmart? I don't know.
Reggie Sumpter [00:19:44]:
You're just blasphemed. It is Target.
Christen Clark [00:19:48]:
It is Target. I was thinking that sounds kinda like Target. But
Reggie Sumpter [00:19:52]:
But it sounds kinda like Target, but I'm gonna say another company.
Christen Clark [00:19:55]:
But I don't usually pay less at Target. That's the problem. That's right.
Reggie Sumpter [00:19:58]:
That's right. You do pay a little less at Walmart probably.
Christen Clark [00:20:00]:
So Yeah.
Reggie Sumpter [00:20:01]:
Alright. Company slogans, 400. Okay. What car company gives this invitation? Let's go places. Oh. Let's go places.
Christen Clark [00:20:16]:
Places. I've heard it. I hear I hear the commercial now.
Reggie Sumpter [00:20:19]:
Alright. That's a start. That is a start.
Christen Clark [00:20:22]:
Honda?
Reggie Sumpter [00:20:25]:
Once again, so close. It is Toyota.
Christen Clark [00:20:28]:
Toyota. I get their competitor every time.
Reggie Sumpter [00:20:33]:
Let's do USA First real quick.
Christen Clark [00:20:35]:
Okay. Let's do it.
Reggie Sumpter [00:20:36]:
Alright. What stage is first alphabetically?
Christen Clark [00:20:39]:
Alabama. That is correct.
Reggie Sumpter [00:20:41]:
I know
Christen Clark [00:20:41]:
the song. That's why I know that.
Reggie Sumpter [00:20:43]:
Oh, let me have a few more songs or a few more, states. How does it tell you the song?
Christen Clark [00:20:47]:
Alabama in Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, and Connecticut, and more Delaware, Florida, Georgia, and Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, the end of Iowa. So 35 to go. Kansas and Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine.
Reggie Sumpter [00:20:57]:
We don't need the 35 to go.
Christen Clark [00:20:59]:
Put on Michigan.
Reggie Sumpter [00:21:00]:
Those first 15 were awesome. Alright.
Christen Clark [00:21:02]:
Thank you. You're welcome.
Reggie Sumpter [00:21:03]:
I mean, you it's your show, so I guess
Christen Clark [00:21:05]:
It's my show. I could do the full song.
Reggie Sumpter [00:21:08]:
Okay. 200. Okay. What state is largest in square miles?
Christen Clark [00:21:15]:
I'm gonna say Alaska?
Reggie Sumpter [00:21:18]:
Yes. Why are we even thinking about this?
Christen Clark [00:21:20]:
I know. I was like, Texas? No. It's Alaska. Yeah.
Reggie Sumpter [00:21:23]:
USA First was 300. What state has the highest cost of living? So the most expensive state to live.
Christen Clark [00:21:31]:
Oh, I'm gonna go with California.
Reggie Sumpter [00:21:34]:
Great guess. It is Hawaii.
Christen Clark [00:21:39]:
Oh, true. Okay. Okay.
Reggie Sumpter [00:21:44]:
And 400? What state was the first to join the United States?
Christen Clark [00:21:50]:
Oh, no. My history teacher is gonna be mad at me. I'm gonna say
Reggie Sumpter [00:21:52]:
It's it's a tough one because a lot of them join close to the same time.
Christen Clark [00:21:56]:
Virginia?
Reggie Sumpter [00:21:57]:
Is that Virginia? No. That is not correct, but that's a great guess.
Christen Clark [00:22:00]:
Thank you.
Reggie Sumpter [00:22:02]:
But on this state's, license plate, it says the first state.
Christen Clark [00:22:08]:
The first state.
Reggie Sumpter [00:22:09]:
And that license plate is Delaware.
Christen Clark [00:22:12]:
Delaware. Really? Yep. They were the first. Amazing.
Reggie Sumpter [00:22:17]:
Way to go, Delaware.
Christen Clark [00:22:18]:
Alright. Well, I got a few points there. I got a few points. That's good.
Reggie Sumpter [00:22:22]:
Alright. Here is another one.
Christen Clark [00:22:24]:
Okay.
Reggie Sumpter [00:22:25]:
Face off. For this game, I'm gonna give you 2 choices, for the answer. And if you think that the correct choice is on the left, you will turn to the left. You'll raise your left hand. You point to the left. You do something to the left. Okay. Put everything you own in a box to the left if you need to.
Christen Clark [00:22:49]:
To the left.
Reggie Sumpter [00:22:50]:
Or If you think it's to the right, obviously, you do something to the right. So y'all can decide what you're gonna do. Are you gonna raise hand? Are you gonna point? Are you gonna turn? Whatever. Okay. Alright. So we'll start with this. What what do Americans spend more money on? Shoes on the left Mhmm. Or socks on the right? Alright.
Reggie Sumpter [00:23:10]:
Obviously, we shoes are more expensive, but do we buy enough socks to make up for what we spend on shoes? That's the question. So shoes on the left, socks on the right. What do you think?
Christen Clark [00:23:21]:
I'm doing a mirrored, I think. So I'm I'm voting left. Right? Is that right? Am I pointing to the left?
Reggie Sumpter [00:23:27]:
Correct answer is. It is shoes, though, to the left.
Christen Clark [00:23:32]:
Even though we lose a lot of socks, so that would be a close call. I understand that.
Reggie Sumpter [00:23:36]:
Here we go. Now, which is the most recently added color to M and M's? Blue on the left or red on the right?
Christen Clark [00:23:49]:
I feel like it's blue. I'm gonna go with left.
Reggie Sumpter [00:23:52]:
Should we go on left? The correct answer is it is blue. Woo hoo. Blue on the left. Nice. Alright. Here is the next one. Which are there more of, bicycles or cars? Bicycles on the left.
Christen Clark [00:24:10]:
I'm gonna go with car.
Reggie Sumpter [00:24:11]:
Cars on the right.
Christen Clark [00:24:13]:
Right. Right. Right. Right.
Reggie Sumpter [00:24:17]:
I mean, there's a lot of cars in those dealerships. That's true. And the road, you know Yes. As we know in a big city. And the junkyard. And and the junkyard. The correct answer is it is bicycles.
Christen Clark [00:24:30]:
It is bicycles. Wow. Okay. Or bicycles.
Reggie Sumpter [00:24:33]:
Alright. Here we go. Let's do we'll do a couple more here. Okay. Alright. Which type of card gets sent more? Birthday card on the left or a Christmas card on the right? I'm gonna say What does the mail overall, what does the mail handle more, birthday cards or Christmas
Christen Clark [00:24:55]:
cards? I'm gonna go
Reggie Sumpter [00:24:57]:
with birthday card. So she's going left. Birthday card. The correct answer is it is a birthday card.
Christen Clark [00:25:07]:
Yes.
Reggie Sumpter [00:25:07]:
It is a birthday card.
Christen Clark [00:25:08]:
Year round. You know? It's year round.
Reggie Sumpter [00:25:11]:
Okay. Let's do this one. We'll do this last one here.
Christen Clark [00:25:14]:
Okay.
Reggie Sumpter [00:25:15]:
Alright. Which cartoon character has not been a balloon in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade? So one of these has been, one of them hasn't been ever. SpongeBob on the left or Winnie the Pooh on the right has never been a character in the May Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Which which one?
Christen Clark [00:25:39]:
Feel like I've seen both of them. I'm gonna go with, Winnie the Pooh.
Reggie Sumpter [00:25:43]:
1 Winnie the Pooh, though.
Christen Clark [00:25:45]:
Yeah.
Reggie Sumpter [00:25:46]:
Alright. The correct answer is it is Winnie the Pooh. Winnie the Pooh. So
Christen Clark [00:25:55]:
Nice.
Reggie Sumpter [00:25:55]:
Alright. Hope you did well on that one. I'll tell you what. Let's do let's do one more game.
Christen Clark [00:26:00]:
Okay.
Reggie Sumpter [00:26:01]:
And this is a Family Feud type of game. So we'll do a couple questions. So I'll ask the question, and I'll you know, we'll give them a second to think about it.
Christen Clark [00:26:11]:
Okay.
Reggie Sumpter [00:26:12]:
And then I'll ask you how many do you think you can get.
Christen Clark [00:26:15]:
Okay.
Reggie Sumpter [00:26:15]:
Alright. So we'll we'll
Christen Clark [00:26:16]:
do it
Reggie Sumpter [00:26:17]:
that way. So here we go. The first question, that we're gonna do, we'll we'll we're just gonna do the top six answers. So if you you haven't played this game, it's, I'm gonna ask a question. Your job is to come up with the most popular answer you think people would say in response to this question. Okay. Alright. So here is the first question, and it is this.
Reggie Sumpter [00:26:38]:
Name something parents tell their kids not to waste. Alright. Something parents tell their kids not to waste. So Christen's thinking of a few. You can be thinking of a few. Something parents tell their kids not to waste. We've got 3 boys. So we have, mentioned some of these Some of these.
Reggie Sumpter [00:27:05]:
From time
Christen Clark [00:27:05]:
For all of these.
Reggie Sumpter [00:27:06]:
The time. Okay. Alright. Do you think you got a few in the bank?
Christen Clark [00:27:12]:
I think so. I think so.
Reggie Sumpter [00:27:13]:
Alright. So, Christen, name one thing that parents tell their kids not to waste.
Christen Clark [00:27:19]:
Their dinner?
Reggie Sumpter [00:27:21]:
Their dinner. Yes. Food. Oh. That is the number 2 answer. Very nice.
Christen Clark [00:27:26]:
Okay. Okay. I was thinking, like, you know, like running the water when you're not actually using it. So I say water. Don't waste water.
Reggie Sumpter [00:27:36]:
Yeah. In fact, running the water when you're not using it, that is the definition of wasting. Yes. So that clarification was spot on.
Christen Clark [00:27:46]:
Thank you. Thank you.
Reggie Sumpter [00:27:48]:
It is water. Water is number 3.
Christen Clark [00:27:50]:
Number 3? Okay. Wow. Okay.
Reggie Sumpter [00:27:53]:
Now I Everyone listening to this is like, I know what number 1 is.
Christen Clark [00:27:59]:
Okay. I so I feel like living in the South, oftentimes we waste air conditioning. Like, if you leave the doors open and you don't, you know, let the bought air out, it's Yes. Outside was hot. So can we can we say air conditioning? You think that would be an answer?
Reggie Sumpter [00:28:14]:
You know what? I'm gonna give you credit for that, but electricity.
Christen Clark [00:28:17]:
Okay. Oh, there you go.
Reggie Sumpter [00:28:18]:
I like that.
Christen Clark [00:28:19]:
Yes. Or like turn these lights off.
Reggie Sumpter [00:28:23]:
Yeah. Yep. Yep.
Christen Clark [00:28:24]:

Reggie Sumpter [00:28:32]:

Christen Clark [00:28:34]:

Reggie Sumpter [00:28:35]:
you've gotten 2, 3, 4, and 5. We're missing 1 1 and 6. People are screaming at me right now. Oh, no. Like
Christen Clark [00:28:44]:
I need their help. Tell me what the answer is through the screen. Kids not to waste their life. Like like, live your best life.
Reggie Sumpter [00:28:56]:
In general. In general. That is true, but it's not one of our top six answers.
Christen Clark [00:29:01]:
Waste your life. Do not waste. Oh, no. Can I phone a friend? Can I no? Don't waste your I'm trying to think of songs. Don't waste your is Toyota one of the answers? No. No. No. Okay.
Reggie Sumpter [00:29:30]:
It sounds like you were gonna sing don't don't go chasing waterfalls. But that's waterfalls is
Christen Clark [00:29:36]:

Is that one of the answers? Let's see.
Reggie Sumpter [00:29:47]:

Christen Clark [00:29:48]:
Number 1. Don't waste money.
Reggie Sumpter [00:29:49]:
Number 1.
Christen Clark [00:29:51]:
Okay. And then number 6, don't
Reggie Sumpter [00:29:57]:
waste, love.
Christen Clark [00:29:59]:
Love? Don't
Reggie Sumpter [00:30:00]:
don't waste your love, kids. Don't waste it.
Christen Clark [00:30:03]:
I'm still thinking of sausage.
Reggie Sumpter [00:30:04]:
If I've heard of it once, I've heard it.
Christen Clark [00:30:06]:
I keep thinking of food items. Like, don't waste the chips or
Reggie Sumpter [00:30:10]:
Well, it's
Christen Clark [00:30:11]:
Like, my kids leave the bags all open in the cabinets. They don't ever, like, close them up good. You know?
Reggie Sumpter [00:30:16]:
So Oh, that's what I
Christen Clark [00:30:17]:
was thinking of.
Reggie Sumpter [00:30:17]:
Don't waste the cabinets. Don't waste the Don't waste the cabinet doors. Like That's it.
Christen Clark [00:30:23]:
