David's Saturday Night Sit Back (DSNSB)
When I started this show, I had no clear direction — no perfect plan, no “ideal guest.”
So, I committed to recording 21 episodes and figured if something clicked, I’d keep going. Around episode 12, a guest flipped the script and started asking me the hard questions. I was terrified to publish it — but I’d be a hypocrite to ask for people’s truth if I wasn’t willing to give mine.
Then a 17-year-old approached me at the gym after hearing my story. He told me that at 16, he tried to take his own life. And somehow, hearing that episode gave him the hope to keep going.
This podcast is now a mission: to tell personal stories with an aim light the internal fire in young men and women across the globe who are walking through the dark night of their journey.

His Dad Turned Him In—Now Clementine’s Turning Pain Into Punchlines
His dad turned him in. Years later, Clem’s turning the chaos into comedy—and finally finding himself.
In this raw and hilarious episode, I sit down with Austin-based comedian Clementine—aka Clem—for a conversation that’s equal parts gut-wrenching and gut-busting.
From growing up above a funeral home to getting turned in by his own dad, Clem shares how he went from tech jobs and college athletics to chasing stand-up comedy full-time. We unpack the messy, vulnerable road to reinvention— rejection, sleep deprivation, dating disasters, and the deep fear of failure.
If you’ve ever felt stuck between survival and purpose, this one will speak directly to you.
🔑 Topics we cover:
- How to find your niche as a creative
- Comedy as healing
- Clem’s first time doing stand-up
- Mental health, masculinity, and self-worth
- Lessons from podcasting & rejection
- What it really means to “bet on yourself”
