David's Saturday Night Sit Back (DSNSB)
When I started this show, I had no clear direction — no perfect plan, no “ideal guest.”
So, I committed to recording 21 episodes and figured if something clicked, I’d keep going. Around episode 12, a guest flipped the script and started asking me the hard questions. I was terrified to publish it — but I’d be a hypocrite to ask for people’s truth if I wasn’t willing to give mine.
Then a 17-year-old approached me at the gym after hearing my story. He told me that at 16, he tried to take his own life. And somehow, hearing that episode gave him the hope to keep going.
This podcast is now a mission: to tell personal stories with an aim light the internal fire in young men and women across the globe who are walking through the dark night of their journey.

Dylan Carpenter returns to DSNSB—and this time, the conversation goes deeper.
When he first came on the show, one moment stood out: when asked if he was happy, he paused… and said, “I don’t think so.”
Two years later, a lot has changed.
From business growth and major life transitions to relationships, therapy, and redefining what actually matters, this episode explores the gap between external success and internal fulfillment.
We talk about:
- Why success doesn’t equal happiness
- What changed in Dylan’s life over the past two years
- Dating, relationships, and modern expectations
- Social media and the pressure it creates
- Making unconventional life decisions
- And what it really means to build a life you’re proud of
If you’ve ever questioned your path—or felt like you’re chasing something you’re not sure you even want—this conversation is for you.
