Wild win, Cavs lose, MRU men's team vaults into first place

Jason Kmet and Scott Strasser Season 3 Episode 56

We review all of this weekend's matches involving Calgary area teams, both pro and post-secondary.

The Calgary Wild broke their losing slide with a 2-0 win in Montreal. However, Vancouver's draw mathematically eliminated the Wild from playoff contention.

Cavalry FC suffered a 3-0 loss to Ottawa that eliminates any hope of finishing top two in the table.

The Dinos men's team had a dismal weekend, dropping both games they played in Edmonton. But that wasn't the case for the MRU Cougars, who won both of their matches and have now vaulted into first place in the divison.

The SAIT Trojans men's team had a big matchup vs Medicine Hat College that will go a long way to determining the south division champion.

The Dinos and Cougars and Trojans women's teams keep racking up the victories as all three sides were undefeated this weekend by a combined score of 20-3.
