S1E8: Shifting from a risk-averse mindset and transitioning out of teaching - with Anuja Pereira

Anuja Pereira was a teacher for 17 years and a Department Head in Alternative Programs and Student Success with the Peel District School Board.  She lives in Mississauga with her husband and two daughters.
In this episode, Anuja talks about having a very risk-averse mindset and her fear of investing in real estate.  By getting educated, taking some action, and gaining experience - her attitude changed and she went on to invest in multiple rental homes, preconstruction and she and her husband now own and manage a Rent To Own company.
After deciding to longer pursue a VP role, Anuja got her much desired Real Estate license and joined RE/MAX as an agent.  She has since retired from teaching and talks about her transition out of the profession.
