Zerubbabel was a Jewish leader who, together with 50,000 of his countrymen, returned to Jerusalem from Babylonian captivity. Zerubbabel was set to rebuild the temple, but the obstacles were daunting. God used his prophet Zechariah's visions to encourage them.
