Hello and welcome to the Designing with Love podcast. I am your host, Jackie Pelegrin, where my goal is to bring you information, tips, and tricks as an instructional designer. Hello, instructional designers and educators. Welcome to a bonus episode of the Designing with Love Podcast. So as we approach the end of the year as of this recording, I wanted to take a look back at 2025 and what the podcast has been able to accomplish, and then look forward to 2026, since there is a new season that will be starting soon, which will be season four. So for season three, there have been a total of 56 episodes released that you've been able to listen to and share with others. So I really appreciate that. Your engagement has been wonderful. So as many of you know, I do mention PodMatch quite a bit on podcast episodes, especially when I interview individuals that I get connected to through PodMatch. And for those that do not know about PodMatch, what that is, is it's a community that allows hosts and guests to be able to connect with each other and be matched based upon the goals of the podcast and also the goals of the guest as well. So it's been an engaging experience and I've enjoyed this over the past eight months. So inside PodMatch, I was able to interview 15 individuals for season three. Outside of PodMatch, I interviewed five individuals. And then I also interviewed four students. Now this part's amazing. I recorded 32 solo episodes for season three. Wow, that's a lot. So that's what comprises of those episodes over the total for season three. And so it was really exciting to be able to interview different individuals across the industry and interview students and really get some great insights. And so I hope you've been able to benefit from that as well. And it's been able to help you grow in your career and even break into instructional design as well. So one thing I also wanted to mention too is that this season I was able to do a series on the different models and theories. And I had quite a bit of fun with that. And it also sparked the writing of my future book, which is going to be of the same name. And so hopefully by summer of 2026, I'll have that published, depending upon how things go with publishers. So I'll keep you posted on that. Now I wanted to switch over to season four. Now I've been able to actually stay ahead of the curve on that. So I have 29 episodes already recorded, planned out, ready to go so far. So as of today, when this recording was done, I have already completed 12 interviews inside of PodMatch, seven outside of PodMatch. I've been able to interview one student so far. And then I've also completed eight solo episodes. So that's been really exciting to see that I'm already approaching 29 episodes for 2026. So I have episodes planned out through the end of May 2026. Now there's some I haven't interviewed yet, but it just goes to show that when you plan ahead and when you're able to have a good system in place and good time management, whether you're a podcaster or you're going to school or you're an educator, instructional designer, it shows when you have good planning, good project management, and good time management, that can really help you succeed in any task you're doing. So I hope that that inspires you in your own endeavors and efforts as well. So again, thank you so much for your engagement, for listening, for everything that you've done and for sharing the episodes with your colleagues and your friends as well. I enjoy getting to know you on social media, especially LinkedIn. Feel free to go to my website, which is designingwithloveblog.com and check out the episodes. And I also have the companion blog in case you're not aware of that. So you can also read about the episodes as well and get to know some of my guests a little bit more as well. And if you would like to support the work, you can certainly do that as well through Buy Me a Coffee. There is a widget on my website. So you can go there if you want to do a one-time donation to keep the mic on, or if you want to subscribe to one of the plans that I have on there. So feel free to check those out. You can also leave me a voicemail on the website as well, and then I may feature it on a future episode. So I would like to make sure that we stay engaged throughout the year in 2026 and beyond. So if you have any questions or if there's anything you would like to see in 2026, maybe even 2027, let me know and drop me a note, and I'd be happy to weave that into my future episodes. Thank you again and have a wonderful 2026. Thank you for taking some time to listen to this podcast episode today. Your support means the world to me. If you'd like to help keep the podcast going, you can share it with a friend or colleague, leave a heartfelt review, or offer a monetary contribution.
