The Regular Guys Bible Study
The Regular Guys Bible Study (or BS) podcast is a podcast for regular guys by regular guys (not theologians) studying the Bible together. It's brought to you by a couple of goofy -- sometime irreverent -- guys who just want to study the Bible together and show you that anyone can read and study the Bible. In fact, you SHOULD read and study the Bible yourself. We're here to show you how we do it, and, hopefully, we can have some fun along the way.
The Regular Guys Bible Study
Matthew 1
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
We start our tenth book by walking straight into Matthew 1 and the “book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ,” even though it’s the part many people want to skip. We talk through why Matthew leads with Abraham and David, why the family tree includes messy stories, and why Joseph’s quiet obedience deserves more credit than he gets.
• starting a new season in the Gospel of Matthew and why it’s a key birth-to-death account
• reading Matthew 1:1–17 aloud and why the genealogy is there at all
• the meaning of “son of David” and “son of Abraham” for a Jewish audience
• the 14-14-14 structure and the questions it raises about counting generations
• comparing Matthew’s genealogy with Luke 3:23–38 and common explanations for the differences
• why Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, and the wife of Uriah show up by name
• the birth narrative in Matthew 1:18–25 with a focus on Joseph’s decision and the angel’s dream
• obedience without recognition and what Joseph teaches us about doing the right thing quietly
just pause this thing, go read the first chapter of Matthew, and then come back and um and listen.
Welcome Back And Real Life
SPEAKER_03If you are listening to the Regular Guys Bible Study Podcast, the Bible study for regular guys by regular guys, we are your hosts, Ken and Steve, and we are just regular guys studying the Bible together.
SPEAKER_02Not theologians.
SPEAKER_03Alrighty. It has been a while. And I think that's what we said last time we had one of these. Um I know. Um, summer has been uh challenging for us to get together. Um, you know, I don't know if people realize this, but you know, this we make no money with this. We have real jobs and um other things that we do.
SPEAKER_02So is that why I haven't seen anything show up in my checking account from you?
SPEAKER_03Um you get 50% of all royalties, Steve.
SPEAKER_01Oh. That's not much. Well, you know what?
SPEAKER_03I'll let's just make it 100%. Um sweet. Okay, I was joking. Just in case we ever happen to make anything. I was joking, you get nothing, Steve. I get I get everything unless unless I don't know. You know what? If we ever decide to have a way to make money, we'll work that out then. Right now, so we don't even have
Starting Matthew As Book Ten
SPEAKER_03that option.
SPEAKER_02We're starting a new book. Yes. And I happen to look back at my old RGBS notes to see how many books we've done. Do you know this is our tenth book, I think? I know that. Do you know how I know that? You probably keep better records than I do.
SPEAKER_03Well, I'm the one that posts every time, and and we just finished season nine, and that's each each season is a book. So we're on the season is Matthew. This season is Matthew, yes, it is. Um, so we're gonna do the Gospel of Matthew, um, which you know it's always made me kind of laugh when not laugh, but I always wonder because we hand out New Testaments, you know, people hand out New Testaments to people, um especially back in the 80s. I I know as a youth um in the 80s we would do these reach reach out events and we would be handing people New Testaments. The very first thing they read is Matthew. Is Matthew and Matthew, the first chapter of Matthew is the genealogy of uh Jesus from Abraham and it it's nineteen no, it's what it's it's uh thirty-six generations, is that right? Uh so it's uh he says at the end, uh let's see I think it's forty two. Well he says it's um eight, I thought he said it's eighteen generations, nineteen generations from here to here, and nineteen generations from like from Abraham to David.
SPEAKER_02Fourteen and fourteen. Is it fourteen and fourteen?
SPEAKER_03Well, we'll get there. We'll get there when we read it. Okay, that's 28.
SPEAKER_02But I think there's another 14 in there.
SPEAKER_03Are there three fourteens? Uh I think there's three fourteens. All right. Um oh, fourteen generations. All right, so all generations from Abraham to David were fourteen generations. Then from David to the deportation of Babylon, there were fourteen generations, and then from deportation to Babylon to the Christ was another fourteen generations. So you're right, 14 times three, 42.
SPEAKER_02Um but you're getting ahead of ourselves.
SPEAKER_03Um, all right, I think we're done. Um yeah, I don't know why I jumped in there. Sorry. Uh so anyway, the point is my whole point is there's a lot of just names listed at the very beginning of Matthew chapter 1.
SPEAKER_02I'm gonna suggest you read one through 17. All right, I don't care.
SPEAKER_03You know, no one's gonna know if I'm making a mistake in how to pronounce one of these names. So it doesn't matter. You think you think all right, so anyway, as always, guys, if you have not read the first chapter of Matthew, we are going to go over the first chapter of Matthew today, and if you haven't read it, just pause this thing, go read the first chapter of Matthew, and then come back and um and listen. All right,
Reading The Genealogy Out Loud
SPEAKER_03thank you for doing that. Thank you for reading. Are you ready, Steve? I am ready, Steve. All right, ready, Steve. I am ready, kin. Um, all right, so here we go. Um Redakin. Matthew 1, 1. The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham. Abraham was the father of Isaac, and Isaac the father of Jacob, and Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers, and Judah the father of Perez and Zerah by Tamar, and Perez the father of Hezron, and Hezron the father of Ram, and Ram the father of Aminidad, Aminadab, and Aminadab the father of Nashan, and Nashon the father of Salmon, and Salmon, would you pronounce it salmon or salmon?
SPEAKER_02Uh probably salmon.
SPEAKER_03Salmon, the father of Boaz by Rahab, and Boaz the father of Obed by Ruth, and Obed the father of Jesse, and Jesse the father of David the king. And David was the father of Solomon by the wife of Uriah, and Solomon the father of Rehoboam, and Rahaboam the father of Abizah, and Abizah the father of Asaph, and Asaph the father of Jehosh Jehoshaphat. Jump in Jehoshaphat, and Jehoshaphat the father of Joram, and Joram the father of Uzziah, and Uzziah the father of Jotham, and Jotham the father of Ahaz, and Ahaz the father of Hezekiah, and Hezekiah the father of Manasseh, and Manesseh the father of Amos, and Amos the father of Josiah, and Josiah the father of Jeconiah and his brothers at the time of the deportation to Babylon. And after the deportation to Babylon, Jaconiah was the father of Shieldil, and Shieldil the father of Zerababel, and Zarababel the father of Abuid.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, no one's gonna know if you're mispronounced.
SPEAKER_03Abu Abid. Dang it, it's I U D. How do you do that? Abiud. Abiud. Okay, and Zarababel the father of Abuid, and Abuid the father of Eliakim, and Eliakim the father of Azor, and Azor the father of Zadok, and Zadok the father of Achim, and Achim the father of Iliud, and Eliad the father of Elizar, and Elizer the father of Mathan, and Mathan the father of Jacob, and Jacob the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary, of whom Jesus was born, who is called Christ. So all the generations from Abraham to David were fourteen generations, and from David to the deportation to Babylon, fourteen generations, and from the deportation to Babylon to the Christ, fourteen generations.
SPEAKER_02And by the way, I think you got Jacob pronounced correctly, and Joseph. Yeah, but I think it's Eliezer, not whatever you said.
SPEAKER_03Whatever.
SPEAKER_02Who cares? Probably probably Akeem.
SPEAKER_03What are you talking about, Akeem? Oh, what did I say? HM, Him.
SPEAKER_02Or something like that.
SPEAKER_03Whatever I said. It's fine, Steve. Shut up. You know, people say I'm too hard on you. You're being too hard on me right now.
SPEAKER_02Can't take what you dish out, can you?
SPEAKER_03I can't. No, I cannot. So stop it.
SPEAKER_02All right.
Why Abraham And David Lead
SPEAKER_02Let's jump back to verse one. Okay. So I think it's significant that in verse one, he calls out the two biggest names in Jewish history. Abraham and David.
SPEAKER_03And there's actually three names.
SPEAKER_02Well, Jesus, that's that's who he's describing, right? I mean, if you're trying to convince Jews, hey, this is the Messiah, you have to prove basically that he's the son of David and the son of Abraham, which, you know, son of David kind of already proved son of Abraham, but anyway. Those are big names.
SPEAKER_03They are big names. That is not what I thought you were going to say about verse one.
SPEAKER_02Oh, really? What did you think I was going to say?
SPEAKER_03Because verse one shocked me, actually.
SPEAKER_02Were you like rubbing your socks along a furry cat?
SPEAKER_03Yes, and then I stepped too hard on the cat and it vomited. And then I touched verse one and it said shocked you. The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ. Um Matthew calls this this word, this all of Matthew, he calls this the book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ. And I never noticed that before. He does not call this stories of Jesus. He calls this the book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ. And so it's talking about Jesus' genealogy, and part of that is the history of Jesus.
SPEAKER_02But the genealogy part really is just chapter one.
SPEAKER_03Well, it depends on your what you know. Genealogy is just not, it's not only about um who begat who. Um it is the stories of those begats.
SPEAKER_02Is that what your cat sounded like when it was vomiting?
SPEAKER_01Begat.
SPEAKER_03Yes. Um anyway, I I just I just never, you know, we call this the gospel of Matthew, right? Because it is the good news of Jesus Christ written by Matthew. But Matthew's take on it is that this is the genealogy, the book of the genealogy of Jesus, which is a historical take on Jesus.
SPEAKER_02Which I think he this is probably the best book for people walking through Jesus' entire life from birth to death.
SPEAKER_03Is that true? Not Luke?
SPEAKER_02Uh well, they're the only two, right? That
Matthew Vs Luke Genealogy Debate
SPEAKER_02go the whole way.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah. Matthew, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John. Mark is the shortest um of the three of the four, right?
SPEAKER_02So you bring up Luke. It also has a genealogy.
SPEAKER_03And he is also a historian.
SPEAKER_02And it's an extremely different genealogy. Yes, it is. Do you know why? Fact. I printed out this piece of paper here that you can't see.
SPEAKER_03Okay. Do you know why his history is our listeners?
SPEAKER_02Well, I I know a reason that people have proposed as the difference.
SPEAKER_03Well, I mean, it's very obvious why it's different.
SPEAKER_02It's okay, go ahead.
SPEAKER_03It's the genealogy of Mary. This is uh that goes through Mary's side, and uh Matthew goes through Joseph's side.
SPEAKER_02See, you say that.
SPEAKER_03I did say that.
SPEAKER_02But this website that I looked at, and they sounded very convincing.
SPEAKER_03Oh my gosh, I can't believe you're listening to a stupid website.
SPEAKER_02And they went to uh original manuscript manuscripts written in Hebrew. This was all translated from Greek, and in the original manuscript, like around verse 16, where it says, and Jacob the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary, of whom Jesus was born.
SPEAKER_03Where's this? What verse? What chapter?
SPEAKER_02Chapter 1, verse 16.
SPEAKER_03Oh.
SPEAKER_02Matthew?
SPEAKER_03Oh, I thought you were talking about Luke.
SPEAKER_02No, no, no.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_02They say that in the original manuscript, the Hebrew says Joseph, the father of Mary. And this is Mary's well uh genealogy, and Luke's is Joseph.
SPEAKER_03Okay. That website is stupid.
SPEAKER_01That's all I can say. They're just stupid.
SPEAKER_03No, I don't know. Uh, what website is that? But this is uh the ESV, which was what we're reading from right now, is a word-for-word translation.
SPEAKER_02I'd have to go find it.
SPEAKER_03Well, all I can say is the ESV is a word-for-word translation of this stuff. And you know, I can go to the NASB, which is another um another word-for-word translation. Jacob fathered Joseph, the husband of Mary, by whom Jesus was born. Um let's see, another where is they changed my app, and now okay, let's just go back to King King James version, even. And Jacob begat Joseph, the husband of Mary. All of these are word-for-word translations.
SPEAKER_02Um I think But a lot of those familial words in Hebrew are really similar.
SPEAKER_03I'm just saying, all these experts have it as you know, all the experts, and these are this is not like one person per one person doing these translations. These are teams of people doing the translations. Um, and so I think I'm gonna trust these over.
SPEAKER_02Okay, so where is uh Luke's not Luke? It's is it Luke?
SPEAKER_03You said it was Luke, so I looked at Luke, but I don't think it's Luke. I think it's John. I think it must be John. Um either that or I don't know where it's at. Let's see.
SPEAKER_02Ay, ay, ay. Okay. Um, no, I don't think that's it. I'm gonna go back to Matthew. I bet there's a cross-reference.
SPEAKER_03Where are the two gen genealogical ex um things that show Jesus' Jesus' um family tree in the Bible? Okay, uh Matthew one to one seventeen. And look, okay, it is Luke, but it's three twenty-three to thirty-eight.
SPEAKER_02Okay. That's why we couldn't find it.
SPEAKER_03Um, yes. Let's see.
SPEAKER_01Um it starts. Okay, this is Luke three twenty-three.
SPEAKER_03And if you go through that one, um at the end of that, let's see. Um he knows it's uh Oh, it goes backwards. It's going backwards.
SPEAKER_01Which it says of Joseph, the son of Heli.
SPEAKER_03Um let's see. Uh Jesus when we began after um Okay, now I'm confused.
SPEAKER_01Okay, so it's not the same. I'm confused. Okay, let's see.
SPEAKER_02But I'd swear it said that Matthew was the one that was Mary's side.
SPEAKER_03Um okay, a common explanation is Joseph's line versus Mary's line. A common expla uh Matthew gives Joseph's legal royal lineage. Uh so okay, so actually what you're saying is uh uh is um an argument people actually make that Matthew is actually Mary's line and uh Luke is Joseph's line. Um another argument is that um let's see, Matthew follows David's son Solomon, Luke follows David's son Nathan. So both lists converge on David but split into separate branches, only rec uh reconvening differently near Joseph. Um I think what I've always heard is um that one is Joseph's line and one is is Mary's line. But I don't know.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it was interesting that this one that I came across kind of made it sound like it was the opposite of what people typically think.
SPEAKER_03And yeah. You know what, Steve? I'm not smart enough to know. Um, but I think you actually already knew that. Um yeah, this no, this is saying what you actually um this is agreeing with you that Matthew Matthew is Joseph's line.
SPEAKER_02No, I said it was Mary's line.
SPEAKER_03I know that's I'm sorry, that's what I meant to say. Matthew um is just using Joseph as the legal royal lineage, um, because as the man, but it's really, it's it's really Mary's uh biological lineage.
SPEAKER_01Oh.
SPEAKER_03Because if you notice, um it's always there they're always talking about who's when they say the genealog genealogical link, they're always referencing the father.
SPEAKER_01Did you notice that?
SPEAKER_03So that's we don't, I guess when they do that, we don't, and sometimes it'll say through you know, this person, right? Through Ruth or through whoever, um, especially when they had multiple. Wives.
SPEAKER_02So I think there
Women Named In Jesus’ Line
SPEAKER_02we can jump to the the the couple of women that are called out because I think they are critical.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_02First of all, both um uh was it uh Tamar and Ruth? Obed of by Ruth.
SPEAKER_03I was like, I can't find anything, and that was in Luke.
SPEAKER_02And Zara by Tamar. So both of them, I correct me if I'm wrong, but I think both of them aren't Jewish.
SPEAKER_03Um let me think here. Ruth was not born a Jew. Um we actually studied that one, right? Ruth came back with Naomi. She was from, I forget the tribe. I mean, not a not one of the Jewish tribes. Um Tamar. Oh yeah. I don't remember Tamar.
SPEAKER_01Wasn't she the prostitute that was in the uh the city when they uh escaped Egypt? Um let's see.
SPEAKER_03I didn't think that she married. Okay, let's see.
SPEAKER_01Tamar, daughter-in-law of Judah.
SPEAKER_02Um so we should apologize because we really didn't have a full week to prepare for this one.
SPEAKER_03No, but the uh Tamar is David's daughter who was raped by her half-brother Amnon uh in 2 Samuel 13. So I think she was a Jew, but definitely Ruth was not.
SPEAKER_01Don't apologize, Steve. This is hard stuff.
SPEAKER_02Boaz by Rahab. Rahab was the one. Uh Boaz Canaanite. Yep. She was Canaanite. Okay. A harlot of Jericho.
SPEAKER_01All right. That's the one I was thinking of.
SPEAKER_03That's the one. Yep. So yeah, that not all the women who were here were born Jews. Now they might have been considered Jews once uh, you know, after some time. There is a way to become a Jew.
SPEAKER_02Well, they accepted God as their God, so and then there's the wife of Uriah, Bathsheba. It's interesting they called out wife of Uriah instead of her name. It's kind of like he wants to point out the guy that Solomon had killed. Solomon David. That David, David, David had killed.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Look, he didn't have him killed. He just had it forgot to tell him to retreat.
unknownRight?
SPEAKER_03He put him on the front lines and then had everybody else back up. To make sure he died in battle.
SPEAKER_02I guess my point is he comes from a very human lineage.
SPEAKER_01Yes.
SPEAKER_02A very that lack of a better word, impure. Well, it's just there's a lot of garbage in there.
SPEAKER_03For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. That's who we are, and that's the lineage that that was before him was just as bad as the lineage after well, he had no lineage, but after. Um, but um, you know, people have always been bad and they always will be. Um you have anything else to say about the lineage? I do. All right, what else?
SPEAKER_02So we talked about it earlier, the 14 generations from this to that to this to that. Did you count? No.
SPEAKER_03I just took it, I just took it as is, Steve. Took it as face value. Oh my gosh, you're telling me you counted and didn't add up?
SPEAKER_02I well, it does if this Joseph is Mary's father. If you put Mary in there, it makes it 14. Hold on.
SPEAKER_03Mary's father. Oh is Joseph.
SPEAKER_01Oh, you're saying Mary's father is Joseph. The father. Yeah. No. Jesus is the fourteenth. Let's count it. You've got one, two, three.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, this is only thirteen to Jaconia. Thirteen. Anyway. I don't know what my point is. Yeah, what is your point? It was interesting. That website I found was interesting.
SPEAKER_01All right.
SPEAKER_03I don't know what to do with this, Steve.
SPEAKER_02All right, let's move on.
The Birth Story And Joseph’s Dream
SPEAKER_03I will read the rest. The rest. Starting with verse eighteen.
SPEAKER_02Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place in this way. When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child from the Holy Spirit. And her husband Joseph, being a just man and unwilling to put her to shame, resolved to divorce her quietly. But as he considered these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins. All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which means God with us. When Joseph woke from his from sleep, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded him, he took his wife, but knew her not until she had given birth to a son, and he called his name Jesus. All right.
SPEAKER_03It started out that way, but you know, he I think he had no doubt that uh what the angel said is true. It that's one of those things, you know. Um when you have a vision from God, an angel comes to you and talks to you. That's pretty powerful.
SPEAKER_02Well, think of yourself as a teenage young man. You're marrying this woman that's with child, yeah, and you have to wait until the baby's born to have your first consummation. Not only that's pretty rough.
SPEAKER_03I know, but not only that, but people are also talking. That's also pretty rough. Yep. I mean, I know what you're saying about the whole desire thing, especially for a teenage boy. Um, that's pretty rough. Um yeah. But I imagine the people talking in the in the Jewish community was not fun either. So um, all right. I'll one thing that really surprised me with this story, because it's been a while since I've gone back and read Matthew. There is the mention of Mary in the story is happenstance. I mean, you know what I mean? It's the story is not about Mary in Joseph's in uh Matthew's account.
SPEAKER_02It is about whereas in Luke's in Luke's there is a lot more, right?
SPEAKER_03Right. Um, and it makes me wonder what the Catholic um thought is on Matthew, if they don't read Matthew much, because I know Mary is a big thing in the uh to Catholics, right? The Catholic community.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I I don't know. I don't know enough about Catholicism to You know, I don't know either.
SPEAKER_03Maybe I shouldn't have brought that up, but I know that um you know I just came back from Europe and you know you go into the cathedrals and there's there's a lot of statues of Mary weeping, you know, lots of statues of Mary. Um not as many as of Jesus, but there are zero statues, statues of Joseph.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Um I mean, maybe maybe around the birth, they there's a picture of him there, but um, I just find it interesting that the story really focuses here on Joseph.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that is a a bit of a a diversion from what Luke does.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, and it's and it's also a um it's a little different than the way I think of the story. I think Luke is probably the story we like to tell around Christmas. Um and so I haven't really read this story uh from Matthew in I don't know, probably years. Um I've just steered away from Matthew. So, which is also why I'm glad we're doing it, because uh I realize I haven't been reading Matthew, I've been reading other things. Um anything else you notice here, Steve?
SPEAKER_02I I really don't have anything else.
SPEAKER_03Um, yeah, I I don't have anything that the the um prophecy, behold, the virgin shall conceive
Obedience Without Credit And Wrap
SPEAKER_03and bear a son, and she shall call his name Emmanuel. That's Isaiah 7 14. Um so this um you know is directly related to the prophecy of of Jesus Jesus' birth. Um so that's all I got. Um you know, I will say Joseph took action immediately, it sounds like, right? He awoke and took action. Um which I think a lot of times like you were saying, that's tough for a guy like him. Young guy. Um but he did it anyway. And so to me.
SPEAKER_02And he doesn't get that much credit.
SPEAKER_03No, he does not get much credit. Like you're saying, he does not get much credit. Um, but the truth is, um, that's I guess I w I actually that's a good lesson in obedience, right? What is he doing here? He's being obedient. And he's doing being obedient for obedience's sake, regardless of any kind of glory he gets. And he gets ends up getting no glory, really. Um he gets some. I mean, he is teeny teeny teeny teeny bit. Yeah. For the part he played, he gets very little glory. Um and we don't really know what happened to him uh after this, right? We don't uh have much much stories until uh after he was twelve. I think that's the last time we hear about Joseph.
SPEAKER_02Um I think we know he was a carpenter.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Um but eventually he was out of the picture.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, or so yeah, he might have died. Um pretty sure he died, but I just don't know how. Okay, yes.
SPEAKER_02So I mean he died within Jesus' lifetime.
SPEAKER_03Oh, we don't really know. It doesn't say that, but um Mary is the one always around, following Jesus around. Anyway, um guys, Matthew 1. I mean, Matt uh the book of Matthew gets a little more interesting as we go on. Um, the very first part, that genealogy thing, that is um that's that's a a big thing. It's a big thing, and that's why I I just still don't understand why we will give out the New Testament and just hope people read it. And that's as soon as they read the first page, they're like, all right, that's enough. I've I've read a bunch of names.
SPEAKER_02But if you gave someone a New Testament, now you'd say, start with John.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, but that's not what anybody did. They just give them a New Testament. Uh anyway, that's uh I just don't understand it. I guess, but you know what?
SPEAKER_02It's the Holy Spirit's job to get people to read the Bible.
SPEAKER_03Well, I was gonna say, I do know pe I do know of people who have been saved by one of those little New Testaments that someone handed out.
SPEAKER_02Um saved because God pulled on their heart.
SPEAKER_03Oh, I know, but I'm saying that they they read that thing. God um God made them used it. Yeah, he you God used that thing, and he pulled on them to make them read even past that genealogy, and they learned about Jesus. Um, all right. Well, anyway, guys, that's all I got. You got anything else, Steve?
SPEAKER_02No, all right, chapter two next week.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, chapter two next week. It's actually is it gonna be next week, Steve? Are we skipping a week?
SPEAKER_02I think we're skipping a week.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, we're gonna skip a week, and then we'll be back. So it'll be two weeks, guys.
SPEAKER_02Gotta clean back to us, guys.
