I think it’s fair to say that everyone struggles when it comes to motherhood or work or decluttering.
And while things can be difficult for most everyone, what if your struggles felt so much more significant than they should?
That’s what happened with today's guest. Emily struggled with things like indecision, time management and was ultimately diagnosed with ADHD and it was after that diagnosis that the things she struggled with made sense.
Today, I’m joined by Emily Weinberg. Emily works with adults who have or suspect they have ADHD to help educate them on what ADHD is and how it has shown up in their lives to help them become more aware of why things may have always seemed more challenging for them.
Emily helps them see themselves through the lens of ADHD so they can begin to shift the narrative they have created about themselves in order to figure out what they want, what support they need, and how they can move toward a life in which they show up intentionally and are able to do the things they want to be doing.
So, press play and listen in as Emily offers valuable insights into the experiences of individuals managing ADHD and organizational challenges within the context of motherhood, the importance of self-acceptance, seeking support, and understanding the impact of neurodiversity on personal and professional lives.

Today, we are joined by Leah Davidson. Leah is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist and a certified Life Coach who specializes in helping people with traumatic brain injuries rebuild their lives.
Leah’s training and experience has given her a unique perspective of the brain and nervous system, how they work and how resilient they are.
In today’s episode Leah walks us through what our nervous system is, the importance it plays in our lives and how it plays a part in how we approach the clutter in our lives.
Leah’s also sharing her 3-step process on how to help yourself when you find yourself in a state of dysregulation when it comes to feeling stressed in your life.

Do you get confused when it comes to the words declutter and organization?
Are they the same?
The terms decluttering and organizing are often used interchangeably, however, they are two different concepts that compliment and depend on each other.
Decluttering, the heavy lifter in the organization process, involves removing unwanted and unnecessary items, creating space, and simplifying your surroundings.
Whereas, organizing will step in after you declutter, focusing on arranging the items you've decided to keep in a systematic way to maximize efficiency and function.
So, today’s episode is diving into the essential question you should ask yourself to discern whether you’re in the decluttering or the organization phase and the importance of when to declutter and when to organize.
If you are ready to dive into the differences between decluttering and organizing, and why they work hand-in-hand to create a space that works best for you - press play and listen in!

Before we dive into future episodes, I wanted to answer one of my frequently asked questions, and that is, how did I become a professional organizer and why do I care about clutter?
Short answer is that you are not alone and I recognize that so many homeowners like you, were overwhelmed with the amount of items in their home and were stuck in making decisions on what and how to let go. As a result their clutter was preventing them to live the best version of themselves.
