So this particular podcast episode is gonna be a little different from our others. We're gonna call this one a bonus. And here's what I want to leave you with this thought. One of the things that I like to tell my coaching clients is it's only crazy till it happens. And my new mantra is,

Show me how good it can get.

by stating, show me how good it can get to the universe, to God, to source, to angels, whomever it is that you pray to, believe to, or what have you. You open yourself, you open, you open up yourself to the idea of good things happening. And so this practice is

The complete opposite of preparing for the worst. This one is anticipating the best. Show me how good it can get allows you to anticipate the best. It allows you to be in expectancy of the best. And that has fundamentally changed multiple things in my life. Relationships, business opportunities.

The things I didn't even really think could happen for me have happened since I moved into this new headspace, into this new mantra. Prior to show me how good it can get, my mantra was, I'm open to unexpected gifts from the universe. And I am. I am 100 % open to unexpected gifts from the universe. But the thing that I've discovered in show me how good it can get is that not only do I get unexpected things from the universe,

Kimberly Houston (01:55.138)
but I get good things from the universe. I get opportunities. have created flow that I've never had before. I was telling my mom earlier today that so many good things have happened to me so quickly. I was like, there's not even enough time to space it all out on social media, right? And so you have to...

Allow yourself to get to the place of daydreaming, night dreaming about how good it can be. How good can life get for you? And when we take the limitation off of what we think is best, what we think is the best, and we allow for source, angels, God.

Allah, whomever you believe in, when we allow them to come in and really show us how good it can get, it will fundamentally change things for you. And here's what I mean. There is definitely a passage in the Bible that says faith without work is dead. And so what I'm not telling you, and I believe this for manifestation too, I'm not telling you to just be like, I don't have to do anything and the universe will show me how good it's going to get. That's not what I'm saying. That's not how this works.

But when you're doing the work, when you're planting the seeds, every season is not a seed planting season. There has to be a season where you harvest. There has to be a season where you are harvesting the seeds that you've planted. And so for many, many, many years, I have been planting seeds. I've been planting seeds in my business, planting seeds in other people.

mentoring, developing, all those things for other people. I have been going through that for myself, right? I went through a season of pruning. I went through a season of learning. I went through a season of growing. I've gone through a season of planting and I'm 100 % in a season of harvest right now. I am 100 % in a season of harvest. And what I can tell you is this.

Kimberly Houston (04:18.956)
When I think about all the things that I've done up until this point that got me to this moment where I'm releasing a new children's book, so Teach Me How to Bake Volume 2 Curriculum for Children, ages 8 through 12, comes out on 7-7. I'm completing my Hello7 Coach Certification July 22nd. I just spent time in California with everyone I've been studying with since last October in the Hello7 coaching program and had an incredible time.

I've been able to forge friendships with people who fully understand entrepreneurship and what business looks like when you are trying to scale. I have had an opportunity to judge high schoolers and college students in baking and pastry at SkillsUSA. I have had opportunities presented to me from that, running this podcast, running the podcast for my job at the Retail Bakers Association of America.

being invited to do things for ACF and ACF Atlanta and all of these things becoming a member of the Don's the Escoffier Atlanta chapter all of these things look like they are just happening back to back to back to back while the announcements are happening back to back the reality is is that there were seeds planted in the ground a long time ago there were seeds planted

a long time ago and because I nurtured and I watered and I know that I am good soil, good things are happening. And what you have to remember as an entrepreneur is that every season isn't one of harvest, but every season also isn't one of struggle. It doesn't have to be. Even when my bank account didn't reflect the work, I still had enough.

Now that I've reached a point where my bank account matches where we are in life, I'm more appreciative because I understand the seasons of entrepreneurship. understand the seasons of growth and development. And I just want to use this opportunity to encourage other entrepreneurs. You have an understanding as an entrepreneur that it's not always easy.

Kimberly Houston (06:43.776)
We know that, right? Something is driving us to do the things that we're doing. And if I could offer you any bit of advice today, it would be quite simply to change your prayer, change your mantra, to show me how good it can get. Watch the universe blow your mind.
