Hello and welcome to the Anchored. This is the place where we discuss and dive deep into health, wealth and conversational relationships centered on Christ.
Dr. Latifat:We're not your therapist, we're not your financial advisors. What we are is a couple that truly believe that we can create marriages after God's heart. Enjoy this episode.
Olushile:Resolutions suck. I wanted to say are terrible, they do not work.
Dr. Latifat:They don't work.
Olushile:Right and they are beautiful. I mean, they get you going and you're excited. You gain momentum for a couple of days. Some people actually make it to like a week or two weeks. Some people even go further as a couple that you need to do to move not only ahead but to actually achieve your goals.
Dr. Latifat:Listen up If you want to have an extraordinary 2025, you have to listen to this episode, because what we're going to talk about has transformed our own relationship over the last couple of years. But we took it to another level even this year, and we're going to share that with you on this episode. Welcome to the Anchored.
Olushile:All right, and so we're just going to dive right. In Many times, as a couple, you may find yourself and I'll use myself as an example I'm writing my own goals, my own desires, the things that I want to pursue in the new year, and she does the same thing, and then we just go at it expecting to achieve them, only to find out that not too long after we start to clash right, I want to do this, she wants to do that, and it doesn't just work because we are supposed to be a team, a unit one, and you cannot. You've never seen an army go to battle and the captain gives an order and then the soldiers are going the other way. Right, they actually must be in line, they must go towards the same goal, and so what we want to share with you is the number one thing that is unavoidable, that you cannot do without if you want to achieve not only your own personal goals, but together as a team, as a unit, how you can drive further and go further to achieve not one, but all your goals.
Dr. Latifat:I cannot imagine or even begin to think about how many times I hear people say things like we've grown apart, right, how many times we see people that are successful and we've bought into those narratives that successful people cannot have a great relationship. And I do think that what we're going to talk about today actually speaks to part of the reason why that narrative is seen a lot, which is that sometimes, when people are successful, you may start to see a breakdown in marriage, especially if they're both like go-getters, if they're both called to do amazing things. I have my businesses, he has his businesses, we have overlaps, but, like, if we don't do what we're about to talk about, I can just see the reason why it makes so much sense that there's so many fights as couples. Are you going to have arguments? Absolutely, that's unavoidable. However, especially if you consider yourself hardworking, high achiever, meant for greatness, which I believe is a lot, if not all, of the people that are watching us today, this is something that you absolutely have to take very, very seriously, and it's something that we started a couple of years ago. And I don't know, actually I'm curious, shilé, when I brought up the idea of like vision in a couple of years ago. Was that something that like you're like? What is Latifah talking about? Is that something that was strange to you?
Olushile:For me it wasn't strange, but it wasn't something that we had done together. I think I knew even before then that you ought to plan, and that's because, growing up, this saying got drummed into me If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. So I knew OK, for myself, for my business, I have to have some goals. I have to have some goals for my careers. I have to have some goals, even for the family. There's some things that I ought to do. I cannot just go into the new year and just wing it, thinking everything will fall in line. But no, you will fall down, fall flat on your face. So I knew I had to plan. I think what I did was I did it my own way and I did it for me, or from my own perspective. I think that was what was missing.
Dr. Latifat:Absolutely. By the way, as we're talking, I'm looking at the video and you normally are taller than me, but I look like super duper short right now, and part of that is because the chair that I'm sitting on doesn't have like a push thing, so I feel like a little kid right next to you. But sorry, that's neither here nor there, but it's just really interesting. So if you're watching, on youtube.
Olushile:You're probably like I don't know, maybe that's just my mind thinking like why is he so short? Yes, I tried to solve it before, but it's a we'll move on. We'll move forward, yeah yeah.
Dr. Latifat:So I mean because one of the things that we were doing before was we had all those amazing plans for ourselves, for our kids, right, and we would meet in between somewhere, in between somewhere, and like update each other. Like so how are you doing? What's going on over? Like we'd be updating each other, almost like we're working in tandem, but we're not working together. That little shared vision, exactly Right. So the question is what are like, what are the benefits, like any benefits to visioning? Actually, before we even talk about the benefits, like what is visioning Correct, I think that's something that we need to talk about.
Olushile:So visioning, in simple terms, is you coming together or coming to, even for yourself, and writing down what are your goals for the year, what are things you're trying to achieve? Where are you going Right? Are you just going to the new year for your business, for yourself, for your family, just because, or just winging it, or do you have some things you actually want to achieve, even when it comes to finances, when it comes to your kids' life, when it comes to their own personal goals? So visioning is something that you do to capture where you are headed.
Dr. Latifat:One of the things that I try to remind people is that vision and if you think about it, you're looking at your year and we are doing this at the beginning of the year. So many people are talking about, like you know, what's your, what are you doing this new year? What's your goal? But this can happen at any time during the year, but you're thinking about your year going forward and the mistake most people do is they either have no goals they have no plans, right. They're like, well, we're just going to wing it. But then there's now a second group of people that are visioning but not using it productively. And you know we talk a lot about imagination and using our imagination, and visioning ties with using your imagination, and most times when you're anxious about the future, when you're anxious about the future, when you are uncertain about the future, it's because you're imagining a future that is not to your benefit. You're imagining a future that may cause you discomfort or pain or suffering or take you away from what you want, right? And so part of visioning and the idea behind visioning is seeing it even before it exists in your imagination. You know people always say that things happen twice. One is it happens in your imagination and then it happens physically, right? So if someone is trying to build a building they've imagined and know what the building is going to look like and you can see an architect from their imagination, they may put it on paper like draw it out like sketch it out from their imagination. They may put it on paper like draw it out, like sketch it out. The more details the better, so that whatever they get on that paper they can give it to someone that's going to be able to execute on it. So it's using the power of your imagination to think about what you want to see in the future and for us, because we have decided that our life is dedicated to the service of God and that we're vessels and tools. So it's imagining with our spirit eyes, really letting God feed our eyes, letting God feed us Right. There are not things that we have seen yet, there may not be things that we've created, it may not be things that we know how to, but the idea of visioning is literally using God's eye, god's vision, right to feed your own vision, like letting God's desires feed your desires and then writing them down. And we'll talk a little bit more about it. But we just want to make sure that you guys even know what visioning is, in case it's something that you have never heard before.
Olushile:And scripture does tell us that, actually, the things that are made, the things that we see, come from the things that you cannot see, that they are not visible to the eyes. And you will never find construction workers who go at it laying the foundations and building a structure without an architectural plan or design. It is never done, and many times when they start the work, the design is all completed. Even if there's going to be some tweaks, it's not going to be anything substantial. The architect already has that building so perfect in his mind or her mind that by the time it starts to go up, it must reflect or reflect exactly what he or she has pictured. And so that's what vision is. Vision is you see something so clearly in your heart, in your mind, that when you start to drive towards it, or when you start to walk towards it and this is what we call achievable milestones right that everything you're doing falls in line and it's driving you towards that vision, that goal that you have. What we're talking about here is not doing it in silo, but doing it together, and why that is so beneficial, why that is actually something that you cannot do without if you really want to excel and succeed.
Dr. Latifat:So what are the benefits of visioning as a couple? Number one is so that you can be on the same page, right? Oh my goodness, guys, do you know how many times we want our spouses to read our mind and how much drama we would avoid if we can just like not have to read each other's at least a little less right? And so when you're visioning together, the benefit of that is we get to have conversation and communicate about what I believe God wants me to do, about what he believes that God wants him to do, and then, together, as a family, like we are unknotting the knots together, like we are undoing it together. We're like is that what God is telling? Is that what God is telling me? So that we can actually have be of one accord. So number one benefit is that we can be on the same page. And when I say be on the same page, it does not mean that we agree on every single micro thing, right? But it means that we're willing to undo the knots together and unknot the knots together, literally Correct.
Olushile:And I'm telling you, you will see this also throughout Scripture, and you will see this in Genesis, chapter 1. You will see it in John, chapter 1. In the beginning of Genesis, the Bible tells us that God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, but when Apostle John captured that, he says, in the beginning was the Word. The Word was with God and the Word was God, and that there was nothing that was made without the Word. And so we see that God was not the only player. In Genesis, chapter one. Actually, in verse 26 of that same chapter, he says let us, let us make man. And so that's what we're talking about. When you vision together, we are actually following the first steps of our creator. There's something that happens, and I'll go quickly to the story about the Tower of Babel. Right, people came together and started to build this amazing structure and they said let us make a name for ourselves. In other words, we become our own idols, we worship ourselves, we don't need God, we can do anything. And do you know the amazing thing? The Bible says that God said if they do this, nothing will be impossible. So imagine when two come together and couples can share their vision and do it together and drive towards that same goal. That is what we're talking about.
Dr. Latifat:There's so much value. There's so much. And even if it's not that even you don't need to be in the same business to vision together. In fact, if you're not in the same, even if it's not that even you don't need to be in the same business to vision together. In fact, if you're not in the same business, it's even more critical because there's no way he knows the intricacies of my business and I don't know anything about the intricacy of IT stuff. OK, so that's. Number one is so that we can be on the same page. Number two is so that we can support each other. We can support each other because, at the end of the day, if you think about it, the reason why we're together is because God designed it that way. God decided that there is the purpose for which he's created Chile. I can be an intercessor, I can be a part of that Right, and the same is true vice versa. So when God is giving him dreams, when God is giving him desires, even as a head of our household, even as his job, in that I can be a partner by praying for him, by praying for his success, because when he succeeds, so do we, and the same is true for him as well. Right, so we can support each other.
Olushile:And you never find a company with two CEOs. Right, there's always one person who has a vision, and everyone needs to. It doesn't happen all the time, but everyone who is on board needs to buy into that vision, or else there will be something that's going to go wrong At some point. It will show up. When people don't buy into that vision, it will not come to fruition. Or even if it does, there's something that is lacking. It's not as the way it was pictured, and so that's what we're talking about. When we are on the same page, we can avoid schedule conflicts, we can avoid calendar issues. I mean, I may be about to jump on a call that is so important for my business, and Latifah is like I have a call too and I have to get on this call and this can cause frustration. Right, who's going to be with the kids? Who's going to take care of the kids? Who's going to pick up the kids from school? Right, we have to be on the same page, literally on a daily basis. This is why two has become one. Right, we walk together, we complement one another, and so, in the process of coming out with a vision for the family, there's got to be compromise, obviously right, there's got to be. Okay, this is what she needs, this is what I need. What can we do? How can we meet in the middle to forge ahead as one?
Dr. Latifat:So, for example, this year, there are certain conferences that I've decided that I would like to go to. There are certain conferences that Shelly's decided that I would like to go to, and so part of this visioning together and supporting each other means that I will hold them accountable as they will hold me accountable, and, in fact, a couple of years ago, there was a conference that it kicked me, literally kicked me out of the house to a conference. I was like the conference is in four days, I haven't even registered. And he kicked me out of the house to a conference. I was like the conference is in four days, I haven't even registered. And he's like you can still register. I'm like tickets are going to be expensive, you can still buy the ticket. I'm like are you kicking me out of our house? He's like you're going for your conference, right. And so this is about supporting each other as well, because when we look back at our year in review, when we look back at our year in review, when we look back at how the year has gone, we want to make sure that it, as closely as possible, reflects the vision that God gave us, that we got from God through the process that we're going to talk to you about today, so supporting each other and making sure that if there's any gaps, that we're able to make sure that if there's a gap in child care, the worst thing we could do is go to different conferences on the same weekend. That would not be good at all. So part of Visioning Together is birthing that and being able to become one even though we're coming from two different areas.
Olushile:Correct. The goal is we can actually now drive together, we're in the same car, we're driving to the same destination. Now it doesn't mean we have only one central goal. We can achieve many different goals, but now there is transparency, we have a shared calendar. I know what she's doing on this time of day and she knows what I'm doing on this time of day. We know who is with the kids, who is helping with the kids right, who is covering right. And that's the beauty of visioning. Together we can support one another. There's no surprises. Actually, something that we did today that I'm really proud of is this morning we bought a ticket, you know, for a conference for the whole family. This is the first time we did this. I mean, in past years we've talked about it, but this year, the first of january, we this this morning, we said you know what this conference, the whole family, is going, and that's what I'm talking about where? Now we have it on our calendars. Now we know this is going to happen at this time, and that is what we want to keep on doing. We want to sit down even more and look at other conferences and even buy them ahead of time, populate our calendars that way, even up if possible, even until December. We know what is going on, he's not playing, and then we can tweak it. He's not playing, we can tweak things right. But it's beautiful when you plan like that, right, there is peace going forward.
Dr. Latifat:Absolutely, absolutely, absolutely. So that's the benefit of visioning. So let's talk about for those that are listening or watching, that are like I've never done anything like visioning together so we want to talk about what we did, how we did it, and hopefully this can help you create your own vision and blueprint. And it doesn't matter if you're watching this in January or in November or in October. You can start where you are and then next year you can choose to do something different, right? So one of the number one things that we did this time, which we hadn't done before in the past, we've done visioning and in fact, we've hosted visioning sessions for our small group and all of that, and we've heard how life transforming it's been. I've taught this to women physicians that I coach inside of the money school, but this time we chose to go away, which I thought that was so good.
Olushile:That was good. What did you think that was good? It was profound because we actually went like two hours away from home. We got someone to watch the kids for that weekend and we just went and spent quality time praying. Definitely, it was a wonderful time to step away from home, because when you're home you're usually with the kids and you can tend to just rush it. And before, to be honest, I would actually capture a lot in my notepad on my phone, but it is the first time that I was able to actually capture it on paper and write things down legibly.
Dr. Latifat:So time away, time away was profoundly good, yes, and it was also together and separate.
Olushile:Together and separate, and you can again, like you said, you can still do it. It doesn't matter that 2025 has already started. You can actually still do it. You can take time off. You don't necessarily need to drive two hours away. You can actually just go to an Airbnb close by your home or a hotel Just spend some quality time. Or you can even just drive to the beach and spend a whole day someplace quiet and just meditate and pray and just write down, and then you can come back and share with one another. Definitely.
Dr. Latifat:We were gone. We did a Friday to Sunday and honestly, I think for next time we do it, we're going to do more days than that, because I think like an extra day would have been even better. So if you're planning on doing this, I would say the absolute minimum would be a weekend. However, if you can do even an early day or the day before, I think it would be of benefit, because we ended up coming up with I think it was like seven pages, correct Of sort of like the different areas of our lives that we're going to talk about Right In a little bit.
Olushile:Okay, so that's number one, and then number two, number two is, you know, I think, just sharing those goals together and coming together and then actually just reading what she has and she reading what I have, and then we were able to actually start tweaking. I don't think that's. Are you sure that's your goal? So, for example, there's so many things I experienced in my business last year that Latifah was able to help me see that, oh, the target for this year is low and I don't think you should base it on what happened last year, because that means, number one, you're not stretching yourself, you're playing it safe and you think you have faith, but do you actually have faith in God? And that's the beautiful thing about sharing it with one another, because now she can look from a different perspective and question my goals. Right, and you want your goals to be questioned, because that will help not only to refine but to help you to probably to see and reflect. Are these the goals that you should be pursuing? Are there some goals you should probably drop? Are there some goals that need to be modified? And that's the beauty of coming together as one to share those goals together.
Dr. Latifat:Absolutely, and the goal is for your goals that's a lot of goals. The goal is for your goals to be very, as specific as possible, correct, to be as measurable as possible. We're doing this. Well, we did this in December towards 2025. So you want to make sure that it's measurable, based on time. So by what time do you want to do this? And it doesn't have to be 12 months. So, even though we're doing 12 months, there is a book that I highly recommend, called the 12-Week Year, that I am doing personally, which is a way of breaking down the 12, you know what I'm trying to do in 12 months, but breaking them not into 90 days necessarily, even though it's 12 weeks, but thinking of my year as like 12-week years. So it's a book that I highly recommend. They have a guide if you want to get the guide. It's so, so, so helpful and it can be helpful for your business, for your finances, for your relationships, for your health, whatever you're trying to measure right, but making sure that those goals are specific. And what I will say is maybe this should actually have been like number one or number two, but is this has to be God-centered, because you could ask the question of how was this different from like any? Like a vacation we would take like, or, you know, like a weekend away without the kids? This was very, very different. This felt like a business meeting, to be honest with you, felt like a business meeting with shillelagh myself, with god, and we were seeking god during this time. So I love water I think shillelagh now knows that I love water a lot but we literally would like sit down by the water like praying, meditating, taking walks, reading our Bible, journaling, so it really was seeking God. Yeah, right, so this was not a vacation. It was restful, yes, but it was like seeking.
Olushile:God. Time away with God.
Dr. Latifat:Time away with God. So this is really different from like a vacation. So you have to understand that if you have decided that you want your life to be anchored in Christ, that has to be a parody, right? The Bible talks about and how you know the labor is labor in vain unless your plans are based on the direction of God. So, for us, we don't want our labor to be in vain. We want it to be based on the word of God. We want it to be based on our time with God. We want it to be based on God's direction. Right, we want God to audit our plan. We want God to audit our goals. If it's not God's, we don't want it. Right, so wanted right. So this was not just a time of us like saying what do I want my life to look like? No, this was a matter of like by the Holy Spirit, through God's guidance. Like God, what do you envision our year to look? Like God, what is like we don't want to be so tight-fisted with anything that we're not willing to surrender it to God's editing Mm-hmm.
Olushile:And one thing also that we came up with actionable items, and so another word you hear for this is called milestones Right, achievable, attainable milestones. Sometimes they can be even daily, sometimes it can be weekly. What are you doing towards those goals? And then, when we came up with those, then we were able to say, ok, is this even possible? Then, when we came up with those, then we were able to say, okay, is this even possible? Is, are these goals achievable by the end of the year or do I need to tweak some or drop some? Because whatever we, we we are working on on a weekly basis or on a daily basis, has to be something we, we agree to and how, and has to be something that we, we are accountable to for you know, for one another. And then, lastly, is then we were able to now bring this, all this, before God? The Bible tells us to commit your ways to the Lord and then, your thoughts will be established. If you don't have any thoughts down, no plans, no visions, then what are you committing to God? Right, sometimes we go to God and we want God to do everything, but that's not the way it works. God has delegated man to work, and so it is a beautiful thing to use your imagination to think. Myron Gordon would say the easiest thing and also the most difficult thing to do is to think, and many of us don't allocate time on a daily basis to think, to flush our ideas out, to write them down, scribble them. One thing that I know that I used to do, which was lazy on my part, is I would write my goals down and I would either not want to tweak them and so I would not go back to visit them as often. But really, when you commit your ways to the Lord, you need to be open to the Holy Spirit helping you tweak them, change, cross some things out and say, no, you're not doing that, this is not going to happen this year, or else you can go in blind and then you get surprised, and I believe many times when we get surprised, it could be we are yet to go before know, go before God and say Father, what do you want me to do? Is this even possible? Should I even drop this? What should I be pursuing? And I believe, when we go to God with such transparency, I believe that the Holy Spirit, we give him room, we do not quench him, and then he comes, and then he helps to tweak and make changes where they are needed.
Dr. Latifat:And there's a scripture from Proverbs that talks about it's a really well-known scripture actually my people. Without a vision, my people perish. And one of the things that we were talking about I think it was yesterday is that without a vision, the vision that is actually used in that scripture is revelation. So, without revelation, my people perish. And it's not perish like the way we think about perishable foods, but it's perish in terms of like scattered, like loosened, like hair would be loosened in a scarf. So without a revelation from God, my people scatter. It's like ants that have no direction. And if we understand that our time on earth is limited even if you live to 100 years old, it's still limited If you understand that there's a plan and purpose for which you're here, if you believe in redeeming times, which is doing what you should be doing at the time. You should be doing because it impacts lives that's not only you. So, for example, if we're not working on our finances, maybe there are organizations that we're meant to give to, that are going to be doing the work of reaching people all over the world, of reaching people local to us, that now, because we're not doing due diligence in building our own finances, we cannot be a how for those organizations, right? Imagine if it's about our prayer life, for example. About our prayer life, for example, if I'm not being diligent and understanding my work and my job as an intercessor yes, we're all called to intercede for each other. The rooms like the gaps that I could be feeling it's no longer there, right, because I did not get up to do that work. So there is. Could you do this 10 years from now? 50 years from now? Yes, but there is value to doing things at the right time, at the time that God has called us to do it, and that's by literally carrying our cross daily and following God and say, okay, god, you're the boss of my life and I'm going to show up, I'm going to do this. So that is why it is really important for us to get up, rise up and get the revelation from God. Make sure that God is the one. It's coming from the top down, not from the town, not from the down town, up down, up all that stuff. Right, it's coming from the top down, from God to you right. Because the Bible talks about delight in me and I'll give the desires of your heart, and part of that is grounded on the fact that, like when we're so anchored to God, god's desire becomes our desire. Right, and now that is going to come to pass, so God's will is being done through us. So it's so, so important that you cannot do this. You can't do it without God. But you're not going to create extraordinary without God. You're not going to create supernatural without God. And if you want to create a 2025 that is better than your wildest imagination, that is richer than you could ever think, that is more grounded, that is in line with what God saw when he said, let there be, then you need to be anchored to the supernatural source of everything, which is G-O-D, and the last thing we plan to do is to gather to spend time fasting, fasting and praying to hear from God.
Olushile:We do not just want to say what a prayer and just assume that, okay, god didn't tell me anything, so it is go time. But we want to make sure that we are seeking the face of God. Right, and if we need to cross out everything and rewrite, that is okay. But one thing we know is we have done some work and that we can present before God, right, and then when we go into fasting and prayer, we can actually be so clearly hearing from him and we have a community of prayers that people can actually give a word of prophecy as well. So we are so intentional and there's no better time than January or even before January, but it doesn't matter if you're hearing.
Dr. Latifat:Whenever you hear this, you can start, your year can start and, like you said, your 12 weeks can start at the time you hear this, you know I'm going to share the scripture from Proverbs 2, which is such a potent I mean so many scriptures are potent. I'm going to share this one, though, from Proverbs 2, which is it says my son, if you receive my words and treasure my commands within you so that you incline your ear to wisdom and apply your heart to understanding ear to wisdom and apply your heart to understanding, yes, if you cry out for discernment and lift up your voice for understanding, if you seek her as silver and search for her as for hidden treasures, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom. From his mouth comes knowledge and understanding, and this is my favorite part. He stores up sound wisdom for the upright. So God has stored up sound wisdom for you the wisdom you need for your marriage, the wisdom you need to raise your kids, the wisdom you need for your businesses or business, for your job, for your leadership, for your rest, for your vacation, for your travel. Like you cannot, you cannot out deep life, rich life. God Like, we literally have shared with you guys that we went on a travel sabbatical, traveled out of the country for 10 months. That was God. That was God. Like it's going to sound fabulous and amazing, and it was. And that was God Like we cannot have a plan that is better than God's plan. Right, and part of that is we have to be willing to surrender and trust that maybe God knows what he's doing and come to him as the one that has stored up the knowledge that you can have access to. If you'll be humble enough to seek, like you would if someone said there's gold in this room, go find it. You're gonna be tearing up the room. That's what you're gonna do, and that's the same thing we need to do when it comes to God. The question is are you willing? Do you want an extraordinary life in 2025? If you want that, then type my life is going to be extraordinary. Type that in the chat box because again, out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. Our words are powerful. The Bible talks about the word became flesh and dwelt among us. So do you want an extraordinary life? We are deciding that we're going to have supernatural advantage in 2025, that our year is going to be amazing. Our kids' lives are going to be amazing Doesn't mean life is going to be perfect, but it's going to be deep, it's going to be rich, it's going to be white, because that's what God has promised us in his word.
Olushile:I mean, we hope that has blessed you. We hope now you see why resolutions they do suck, they don't work. But we're doing it in a different way. We are not only writing our visions, but we're doing it together. We are writing out achievable milestones, things that we can target on a daily basis. That drives us towards the goal. And last, and this is the greatest of all, we are open to God, through his spirit, to teach, to edify, to exhort, to cross out, to modify and just to speak to us so that we can not only have our own plan but make his plans trump ours. Right. And so if that requires praying, we are intentional. If it requires fasting, we are also intentional. We want to make sure that we start right. We start with God. We are not surprised. Right, we start the journey and then something happens. But, on the contrary, we start the journey hand in hand with our Father, our Creator, and that is how to do it, that is how to create a vision and that is how to drive towards it. And then you will see not only that you will achieve it, but God, so good he will do exceedingly, abundantly, above all you can ever think or ask or imagine.
Dr. Latifat:Amen, hope that blessed you. Yes, all right. So, god, we just thank you for the people that are listening to this episode. We thank you that, wherever they are in their lives, we know that no two relationships are the same. But, god, we just pray that you would intercede and meet them at the point of their needs. In the name of Jesus, they're committing to having an extraordinary 2025. It's impossible to do without you. So, god, we're surrendering everything to the one who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly. Above all, we can think, ask or imagine. We know that sometimes our ways are not your ways, sometimes our thoughts are not. So, god, we ask that you edit our plans, you edit our thoughts, lord, that we would not be so big in our head or so stuck in our ways that we fail to see the truth, which is that you are the author of everything, and our lives are not better without you. They're richer with you. So thank you, lord, for being our God. In Jesus' name.
Olushile:Amen.
Dr. Latifat:All right, so go have an extraordinary 2025. We love you.
Olushile:Have a great one.
Dr. Latifat:All right, see you in the next episode. Bye.
