Welcome to Eat This Bread Drink This Cup

The communion meditation today is based on a passage of Scripture from the Old Testament, Psalms 103:13-18. King David is the author of Psalms 103, and he delights in describing the blessings of God. Unique among these descriptions is the phrase, "from everlasting to everlasting." Not only does it describe the everlasting duration of God's love to " those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts," but seems to set aside today, the time between the past and the future, as the time for showing God how much we love Him. One of the ways we can show God how much we love Him today is to partake of the bread and drink the fruit of the vine from the cup to remember Jesus and His sacrifice for us. All Scripture quotations are from the New International Version (NIV) and are used with permission.

As you listen to the episode today, my hope is that you will be encouraged from the time spent meditating on what Jesus has done for you. You are a special person; the one Jesus died to save!
