David talks about Whimstay, which provides exclusive discounts on last-minute bookings, off-season trips, pre and post-holiday rentals, weekdays leading into "weekend getaway" destinations, etc. Prior to Whimstay, David grew travel and real estate payments business from $70m to $200m+, and launched a firm advising fintechs, marketplaces, SaaS businesses, private equity, and venture capital firms on payments strategy, partnerships, scaling operations, go-to-market strategy, M&A, and financing alternatives. As an investment banker with over 20 years experience executing a broad range of M&A transactions, strategic partnerships, joint ventures, public and private equity offerings, working capital facilities, leveraged finance and investment grade bank and bond deals. He has led roughly 100 transactions, representing over $80 billion in deal value. Broad industry coverage across sustainability, technology, payments, financial services, energy, infrastructure and industrial sectors.
