40. Andrea Hoban - Co-founder Oji Life Lab & Coach

Kristen Revell

This week is with Andrea Hoban, who is an expert at getting the best out of you. She has facilitated, coached and trained thousands of people at companies of all sizes and directly with individuals. I also benefitted from her training while at Robert Half, where she worked for over 18 years. Andrea left and is co-founder of Oji Life Lab, which is an emotional intelligence company she founded with Mark Bracket who is the founding director of the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence. Andrea thrives on growing businesses, influencing change, inspiring greatness, and helping others reach their highest potential.

But during this conversation, we talk about the harder aspects of feeling big feels with the changing business landscape, facing things that may not be so pleasant, "embracing the suck" and trying to see through it with hope and optimism. We also talk about tunnel vs. expanded vision and the book "Four Thousand Weeks: Time Management for Mortals" by Oliver Burkeman. This episode has two people who have been facing challenging times and are learning real time on what it means to truly see through it. Hopefully you too will be able to see you're not alone and gain the courage to keep moving forward.
