In today’s episode, we’re joined by Ludovica Labruna, CEO of Magnetic Tides.

Ludovica is a PhD and visionary neuroscientist with a passion for non-invasive brain stimulation (NIBS). At UC Berkeley, her research focuses on understanding individual differences in sensitivity to NIBS, aiming to unlock new possibilities for brain interventions. With Magnetic Tides, she’s bringing a revolutionary NIBS device to life, designed to evaluate and enhance human brain function, with a focus on stroke patients.

Magnetic Tides is pioneering a novel method of NIBS, a safe, non-invasive technology that can transiently alter brain activity. NIBS is already a powerful tool for studying brain-behavior relationships and has also shown incredible promise as an intervention for neurological and psychiatric disorders.

In today’s conversation, we’ll explore how Magnetic Tides is advancing brain science and how Ludovica’s innovative approach could reshape safe, painless and non-invasive treatments for brain-related conditions.
