Do As I Say, Not As I Do - Leadership Style | Guest: Jason Compton
Justin hosts Jason Compton, a former law enforcement officer and colleague. Justin and Jason went to the academy together and both got out of law enforcement to enter the private sector. Justin has since gotten back in, but Jason is still out. They break down the failures of leadership within law enforcement and what can be done to improve.
Chief Andy Harvey, for Chief of Police for Palestine, Texas, Ennis, Texas, and Pharr Texas, arrested for allegedly abusing 911 service and resisting arrest. Harvey also on police body-cam in 2022 cussing out his Deputy City Manager in City Hall at Pharr, TX, when the police had to be called. Harvey cusses out the responding officer, "Who the F*** called you!?"
Justin and Jason discuss how this type of generational toxic leadership is crippling the profession.
