Doug Sholz-Carlson is Great River Shakespeare Festival’s Artistic Director. He works nationally as a director, fight choreographer, actor and certified intimacy director. Doug was the first intimacy director at the Metropolitan Opera. This season at Great River Shakespeare Festival, he is directing A Winter’s Tale.
Melissa Maxwell is the Co-Associate Artistic Director of The Great River Shakespeare Festival and the Director of Professional Development at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. She is a director, actor, writer, educator, motivational speaker, and an award-winning playwright. Her latest play, IMBROGLIO, which she is also directing, receives its world premiere at the Great River Shakespeare Festival this season.
The Great River Shakespeare Festival is located in Winona, Minnesota and runs from June 20 through July 30.
