In this episode, I sit down with fellow Vermonter and all-around woodsman, Jeremy Ballantine. Jeremy is one of those rare hunters who has mastered both the art of bowhunting and the tough, old-school craft of tracking deer in the big woods. Humble as they come, Jeremy’s success speaks for itself—whether it’s taking mature bucks here in the Northeast or chasing bull elk out West with a bow in hand.
We dive into his approach to hunting, some stories from the mountains and the plains, and the mindset it takes to consistently find success in different parts of the country. It was a genuine, down-to-earth conversation with one of the most skilled hunters I’ve had the chance to talk with.
