UnPerfect - Biblical Truth For Everyday Women of Faith: Abundant Living Through Intimacy With God
Welcome to UnPerfect! I'm your host, Shelly Snead, and it's my weekly mission to share biblical hope for everyday women like you. We explore how to overcome obstacles that keep us from experiencing intimacy with God, and strategies that help us move from feeling stuck in our own story to living out God's gift of contentment. Through authentic stories and experiences rooted in the truth of God's Word, hope—and most likely some humor—is headed your way. Let's grow in faith and live life to the fullest— together!

More Ways We Compare Ourselves to Others and How to Find Contenement

We've all fallen victim to the comparison trap! In this episode, we continue our discussion of more ways we compare ourselves to others: possessions, children, and our life experiences and circumstances. We can't all be Joanna Gaines [sigh], have perfect kids, or perfect life circumstances. But we can learn to be grateful and even experience the JOY of "missing out."
If you missed the first part of this series, head over to Episode #2.
We also talk about some comparisons that happen in the New Testament and get a glimpse of the time we waste comparing ourselves to others.
