Episode 1: Addressing Your Inner Critic with Kelli Mohr, Director of Platform Engineering at Slalom Build
In this episode, Founder and Global Communities Director Lauren Langdell interviewed the fabulous Kelli Mohr, Director of Platform Engineering at Slalom Build. Lauren spoke with Kelli about her journey into tech, as well as tackling burnout and addressing your 'inner critic'.
Kelli Mohr designs cloud architecture in AWS, GCP, and Azure and uses various technologies to implement DevOps solutions for clients. Kelli has been in the technology industry for 20+ years as an IT Manager, Software Engineer, Systems Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Engineering Operations Manager, and a Consultant.
Currently, Kelli is the President-Elect of Junior League of Olympia. In May, she begins her role as President to drive forward their community impact of social and emotional well-being programs for children and youth. As part of Junior League, Kelli earned the President’s Award in 2021 for her work to advance DEIB and Advocacy. In addition, Kelli is a former Board Member and active Searcher for Thurston County Explorer Search and Rescue. She also maintains their website and actively participates in missing persons and evidence searches.
Kelli actively shares her Platform Engineering knowledge on Instagram (@kelliamohr) to inspire the next generation of women to pursue careers in tech. She loves to relax on her 5-acre mini farm or the beach with her partner, daughter, and two dogs.
