Into the Abyss
A short horror story fictional audio podcast where in each episode the Shadow Dweller spins a new tale of horror, creepy stories and twisted tales to keep you company until you are swallowed by the Abyss.
Into the Abyss
Morbid Morsals Season3. Episode 8. The twelve slays of Christmas.
You’re here because you want a Christmas story. Not the kind with warm fireplaces and cocoa steam curling in the air. Not something that smells like cinnamon or sounds like Jingling bells.
No. You want a story that rots. A story that freezes in your lungs and gnaws at the space between your ribs. A story that stains Christmas red in ways no one should ever wish for.
This is the kind that lingers.
The kind that doesn’t end when the lights go out.
There’s a street called Coldwater Lane.
Twelve identical houses.
Perfect decorations.
Perfect smiles.
And every December… someone goes missing.
No one talks about it.
No one remembers it clearly.
That’s how the town survives.
I was twelve years old that Christmas. The night I saw everything.
Some places have traditions, and some places have monsters.
And some traditions don’t stop- they wait.
If you’re listening to this now, you have been warned.
Some stories don’t want to be believed.
They want to be passed on.
