It began with a patient, Evelyn Prince.
No history of illness.
No reason to lie.
She said she couldn’t sleep.
That something was watching her.
Not in dreams.
Not in shadows.
But in the space between.
Her doctor recorded everything.
Every session.
Every word.
At first, it sounded like trauma.
Then the recordings changed.
Voices where there shouldn’t be voices.
Sounds no one could explain.
And something else…
Started listening back.

Section log Dr. Malcolm Harrison Patient Evelyn Price Date October twelfth, nineteen ninety-two, ten fifteen AM Initial consultation, subject reports recurring nightmares, sleep paralysis, and claims of extraterrestrial abduction. Beginning intake interview.
SPEAKER_04I I don't sleep anymore. Not really. Every time I close my eyes, they're there, watching me, waiting. You mentioned they. Who are they exactly? The ones who took me.
unknownTook you?
SPEAKER_04Yes. From my bedroom. From my car. From places I don't even remember being. They they pull me out of myself.
SPEAKER_03Evelyn, these experiences, they could be sleep paralysis, dissociation, trauma-induced hallucinations.
SPEAKER_04No. No, doctor. They're real. And they're not done with me.
SPEAKER_03Let's take this one step at a time. You said you remember tests?
SPEAKER_04Not tests. Experiments. They don't ask. They don't speak. They just open you. Not physically. Not with knives. With something else. I can feel your thoughts.
SPEAKER_03Evelyn, these sound like intrusive memories. Trauma can you to believe me?
SPEAKER_04You think I'm crazy. I believe you're suffering. And I want to help. Then put me under. Hypnosis. Regression. I need you to see what I've seen.
SPEAKER_03We'll schedule a session. But I want to be clear. Hypnosis is not a truth serum. It's a tool for exploring memory, not confirming it.
SPEAKER_04You'll believe me when you hear them.
SPEAKER_03Hear who?
SPEAKER_04The ones inside me.
SPEAKER_03Section two. Hypnotherapy induction. Patient appears anxious but cooperative. Evan focus on your breathing. In and out. Let your mind drift back to the earliest moment you remember feeling watched.
SPEAKER_06Here.
SPEAKER_03Where are you?
SPEAKER_06My bedroom. It's dark. Too dark. The shadows feel thick, like they're breathing.
SPEAKER_03What happens next?
SPEAKER_06The light outside my window bends. Not bright, more like liquid. It pours through the glass and then step through. Tall, thin. Their skin, it's not skin. It's like smoke wearing a shape.
SPEAKER_03Do they speak?
SPEAKER_06Not with mouths. They press thoughts into me. Cold thoughts, empty thoughts, like being touched by a void. What do they want? To see what's inside. Not my body.
SPEAKER_03Me. How do they do that?
SPEAKER_06They reach through me. Like I'm made of water. Like I'm not solid to them.
SPEAKER_03How does that feel?
SPEAKER_06Like drowning in someone else's mind.
SPEAKER_03Evan, I want you to come back now. On the count of three. One.
unknownTwo.
SPEAKER_06They're listening. The ones who took me. They know you're hearing this. Evan. They don't like it.
SPEAKER_03Question three.
unknownPatient insisted on continuing regression.
SPEAKER_03She reports increased nightmares and sensations of being observed. Evan return to the moment after they entered your room.
SPEAKER_06I'm not in my room anymore. I'm floating. No. Being carried. The air tastes metallic.
SPEAKER_03Describe your surroundings.
SPEAKER_06A corridor. Walls like bone. Pulsing. Alive. Things. They glide. They don't walk. Their limbs shift. Like they're choosing shapes as they go. What would they do to you? They place me on a table. Cold, not metal. Something harder, something older. Do they restrain you? No. I can't move because they've turned me off. Turn you off. Like a switch. Like I'm a machine they're opening.
SPEAKER_03What happens next?
SPEAKER_06They reach inside my mind again, pulling memories out, replacing some, testing which ones hurt. Why would they do that? To see what breaks us.
SPEAKER_03Even I want you to.
SPEAKER_06They're here.
SPEAKER_03You're safe. You're in my office.
SPEAKER_06No.
SPEAKER_03They're in the walls.
SPEAKER_06In the lights, in the tape.
SPEAKER_03Everlyn, wake up. I'm going to count backwards from three. And when I reach one, I'm going to snap my fingers, and you're going to wake up. Three, two, one. Section four. Patient requested an emergency appointment. She claims the beings have become more active. Evelyn, please explain what's happening.
SPEAKER_06They came back. Not physically, not like before. They were in my dreams. But the dreams felt borrowed. Like they weren't mine.
SPEAKER_03Describe the dream.
SPEAKER_06I was standing in a field, tall grass, windless, silent. And then the sky folded like paper. And something stepped through the crease. A shadow of one. Like it hadn't decided what shape to wear yet.
SPEAKER_03Interesting. What did it do?
SPEAKER_06It pointed at me. And suddenly I wasn't in the field anymore. I was inside something. A chamber.
SPEAKER_03A chamber. Was this a painful experience?
SPEAKER_06No. Not this time. I heard a voice. Not in my head. Around me. Behind me. Inside me. It said, We are preparing you.
SPEAKER_03Preparing you for what?
SPEAKER_06For the next session.
SPEAKER_03Evelyn, they're dreams. Nightmares can feel real, but they're not nightmares. They're rehearsals. Personal note. I've begun experiencing anomalies. Lights flickering. Equipment malfunctioning. Dreams I don't recall having. I'm not a superstitious man, but Evelyn's sessions are affecting me. Continue treatment. Session 5. Hypnotherapy session. Patient insisted on deeper regression. Sleep deprived, trembling. Reports missing time. Evelyn, breathe slowly. Go back to the last moment you remember before the gap.
SPEAKER_06I was brushing my teeth. I blinked, and I was somewhere else.
SPEAKER_03Where?
SPEAKER_06A room. White. Too white. Like the color was screaming. You couldn't look too long because it makes your eyes hurt. What do you see? A figure. Tall, limbs too long, head tilted, studying me.
SPEAKER_03Does it speak?
SPEAKER_06Not at first. It just watches, waiting for me to break. Then what? It touches my forehead. Suddenly I'm seeing things that aren't mine. Cities collapsing, skies tearing open, people running, going nowhere, the ground swallowing them. These could be intrusive thoughts. No, they're memories, just not human ones.
SPEAKER_03Evelyn, I need you to.
SPEAKER_06They're listening again. Who? The ones who showed me. They don't like you hearing this. Ending session.
SPEAKER_03Voicemail received at 2 14 a.m.
SPEAKER_05They're in my house. Not physically. In the lights, in reflections. Every time I blink, they're closer. I feel them moving inside my thoughts, rearranging things. Please call me back. I don't know how much longer I can keep them out.
SPEAKER_03Session six. Emergency appointment. Patient disoriented, trembling, reports hearing voices when alone. What happened last night?
SPEAKER_06They were testing me. Not physically, mentally, pushing thoughts into me that aren't mine.
SPEAKER_03What kind of thoughts? The self-harming kind?
SPEAKER_06Instructions, blueprints, places I've never seen, stars that don't exist in our sky. Then why do they feel like memories?
SPEAKER_03Trauma can distort. They told me something. What? You're next. Why would they say that?
SPEAKER_06Because you're listening. And they don't want you to.
SPEAKER_03Evelyn appears exhausted, pale, eyes sunken. She says they've been preparing her. Are you sure you want to proceed?
SPEAKER_06They want you to hear now. To know.
SPEAKER_03Know what? What's coming? Breathe slowly. Let yourself drift. They're here. Ignore the power. Focus on my voice. Not me. Not Evelyn. We are.
SPEAKER_02Evelyn, respond to me. She is a vessel. A window. A mouth we borrow. What or who are you? The architects of your undoing. Because you listen. Because you doubt. Doubt is fertile soil. What do you want? Consumption. Assimilation. Your world is ripe. Your species soft. You will feed us. Evelyn, wake up. Now she cannot hear you. She is opening.
unknownI'm calling an ambulance. No need.
SPEAKER_02We are already here.
unknownWho's there? Show yourself.
SPEAKER_02We step through what you call flesh. We wear what you call bodies. We are not bound as you are. Evelyn?
unknownEvelyn!
SPEAKER_02You will nourish us first, listener. This world will be harvested. Your species will kneel. You will be nothing more than food.
unknownWe are already among you.
SPEAKER_00No, this isn't office of Dr. Malcolm Harrison. Neither he nor his patient, Evelyn Price, were found. The room showed signs of a struggle, but no footprints. No fingerprints. No trace of anyone leaving. Authorities dismiss the recording as a hoax, a fabrication, a delusion. But the tape keeps playing on its own, even unplugged, even destroyed. And sometimes, if you listen closely, you can hear breathing behind the static. Morbid Morsels Podcast has been a dark shogun production in association with Twisted Souls Media.
