Welcome back to a new episode of the 'past lives' podcast, for the next 15 minutes I will be your host and today we have for the third time a guest in our studio, Laura, which has gone through the experience of recollecting past lives, and who will share with us today insights from her experience. For those of you who listen to an episode from this podcast for the first time, I am currently interviewing people who have gone through past life recollection experiences with the purpose of sharing their experience with you.

Even though there are hundreds of different therapy methods out there, all important therapeutic methods agree that our repressed traumatic memories may enter our consciousness provided that we temporarily cease our involuntary repressing tendency, or other mechanisms we use to avoid confronting the trauma.

Modern psychology uses therapeutic hypnosis and psychogenic substances while the use of psychoanalysis is limited to mild cases.

We do not need to discover or invent the therapeutic or self development use of re-experiencing our past, especially our previous lives' past. Buddhist tradition has used self knowledge for relieving sufferings for millenia and it is called Pratiloma-Yana.

Pratiloma-Yana represents the path to recovering our integrity, to help develop our body and achieve spiritual fulfillment. This is why this technique does not use hypnosis (or other similar processes), nor psychogenic substances in order to bring our memory imprints to the surface.

Pratiloma-Yana can easily achieve the natural state of consciousness and this is why it needn't make use of these 'methods'. Our trapped memory imprints are naturally brought to surface from our subconscious so that they can be relocated in the centre of our conscience from where they dissolve all existing tensions through re-experiencing our negative emotions.

The individual who struggles with their emotions will realize that this technique can help them transpose their perceptions to the traumatic events in their past. This renewed awareness helps them process the tensions associated with their memory-experience which cause distress in their current life and may lead to psychosomatic difficulties over time.  By dissolving the cause, they achieve their relief from suffering.

I invite you also this time, to extrapolate this topic to a separate episode, in which we will discuss in detail about the diffrent therapy methods out there, about their advantages and disadvantages and we will also stop to look in what way the Pratiloma method is different.
