CONFETTI ALL AROUND
Rooted in Reflection presents Confetti All Around, a podcast that provides an intimate space for vulnerability, inner child joy and ancestral energy to co-exist and give generously to others listening for the comfort and the cuentos. Confetti All Around is intimate and brave. It's compassionate and timely. We are pulling back the veil on all the work behind the scenes of coming to this part of our lives where we can celebrate and rejoice from the roots to the fruits!Mission:On Confetti All Around we hold space for the celebration of our success and the mess after the party's over. We dive into vulnerability to share a moment in our lives we thought we did not have direction or felt utterly defeated and the lessons learned from them to get to where we are now. We center self compassion, creativity and intergenerational healing. Host:Confetti All Around is hosted by Chicana Therapist Cynthia Perez, LCSW who has worked in the field of Los Angeles, CA for 15 years as a social worker in schools, homes and hospitals and realized what everyone wants is connection and a good story. Cynthia interviews friends, mentors and cycle breakers.

S04-E08: "In Mexico We Don´t Say...." with Guest Erika of How to Spanish
Cynthia invited Erika to the podcast to celebrate her latest Ebook, "In Mexico We Don´t Say - A Not So Serious Guide to Sound Mexican AF."
Erika started sharing her love for language on IG as "How to Spanish" with a loving tagline of "And I think that's beautiful" that makes learning Spanish phrases not only easy but relatable. Her book provides history of language through the colonization of Mexico/Tenochitlan. What we love about the book is the space held for Indigenous history and personal storytelling. This book will make you laugh but like most Mexican stories, it may make you cry, too at the beauty of our collective conversations and how they have evolved over time. Erika has other Spanish language offerings and is definitely a Mujer who is making ancestors proud. Find her work on IG: HowTo Spanish and get her book!
