In this episode, we sit down with Shaila Carter—a woman whose life is a masterclass in quiet determination and radical transformation. Known by her friends as "Shy," Shaila is the creative force behind Shi’s Closet and Shi’s Crafts, but her true "powerhouse" status comes from a heart that has been refined in the fire.
The title of today’s episode, "Single but Not Forgotten," speaks to the season Shaila has walked since 2021, following the unexpected end of a four-year relationship. Shaila pulls back the curtain on her most difficult chapter: a miscarriage in 2020 that led to a battle with postpartum depression and a loss of self. She shares how she navigated the grief of losing a child and a relationship at once, and how she found herself again through the weight of it all.
