Interview with Dance Scientist Gregory Youdan
Greg Youdan, is a very dedicated, fun, energetic, and passionate Human Movement Scientist, Specializing in Dance Science. Greg has dedicated his life to helping others improve their movement. Greg creates awareness of the importance of motion and balance and finding strength and flexibility using an evidence-based approach. As a Pilates instructor, he inspires and challenges his clients to improve their lives.
On this episode, Gregory explains the difference between Dance Science and Dance for Health. He expands on the benefits of dance in relation to motor-movement and the brain. He reminds us how dance can benefit our brain health, but only as we feel the enjoyment while performing it. He talks about the importance of breaking the sigma and the silos in our modern times attached to the Ancient Art of Dance.
