Interview with Dr. Toni Gines-Rivera, PhD. Trauma and Grief Specialist
In my interview with Dr. Toni Gines-Rivera, PhD. we talk about using music to create self- awareness of the choices we make and how music and the brain's potential can impact outcomes in many of our life events. Dr. Toni tells the story of her childhood trauma. She shares how she had to rewire her brain using music to not allow herself to stay in deep dark, depression in her early 20's, but instead, helped herself strive towards healing first to then bring about inner peace and joy in her life.
Dr. Toni Gines-Rivera, PhD, is a licensed psychologist and a speaker on mental health and wellness. She has a Ph.D. in Psychology & Counseling with a specialization in Counselor Education & Supervision from Regent University. She is also a member of the American Psychological Association.
