Embracing Sacred Cycles- A Latter-day Fertility Podcast
welcome to Embracing Sacred Cycles. I’m your host, Amy Sedgwick, a multigenerational Latter-day Saint woman who has navigated a 20-year fertility journey. Throughout this journey, I’ve wrestled with the pain and complexity of infertility within the context of our beautiful and unique theology.
This path has illuminated the pain many women in our culture experience, which led me to become a certified Fertility Awareness Mentor. I now have the privilege of teaching women like myself the tools that helped me naturally balance my hormones.
From time to time, I’ll be joined by my wonderful sister-in-law, Sharon Sedgwick. Sharon has her own complex fertility story, and her experiences have led her to become a leading practitioner in healing generational trauma. She’s worked with women around the world in various stages of life, helping them heal at the deepest levels.
Our vision for this podcast is to create a safe space for those in and around the Latter-day Saint culture to share their fertility stories, reminding each other that we are never alone.

“In this special bonus episode of Embracing Sacred Cycles: Advent Reflections, we offer a standalone guided meditation centered on the ancient and sacred symbol of weaving. This meditation invites you to explore the creative power within you, honoring your body as a sacred vessel and connecting to the divine lineage of women who have woven life, wisdom, and purpose throughout history.
Through rich imagery and gentle guidance, you will:
•Envision yourself in a sacred space of women weaving threads of life, love, and divine creation.
•Reflect on the sacred body as a temple woven with purpose and light.
•Connect to the threads of divine wisdom passed down through generations, from women like Mary and Miriam to the women in your own life.
•Embrace your role as both a weaver and a thread, part of a vast tapestry of creation and connection.
This meditation is an opportunity to find stillness, affirm your worth, and honor your unique gifts as part of God’s divine design.
Settle into a quiet space, breathe deeply, and allow yourself to reconnect with your sacred creative power. You are a weaver of light, life, and love.”
