On 4th August 1976, women played cricket at Lord's for the very first time. Fifty years on — almost to the day — two of those pioneers, Megan Lear (Kent & England) and Jan Southgate (Sussex & England), return to the home of cricket to relive that history-making walk onto the hallowed turf.

Recorded at Lord's during the England v India Women's Test, they share memories of the legendary Rachael Heyhoe Flint — the captain, fundraiser and first female MCC member whose name was synonymous with women's cricket — from confidence-building at the crease to celebrity matches against JPR Williams and Terry Wogan, and a funrun from Lord's to the Oval that saved the 1984 tour.

The conversation comes ahead of the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Collection auction at BUDDS on 2nd August — a once-in-a-generation collection from the woman who changed the game.
