The Spicewood Experience
What's in the Texas Hill Country? Well, hills. But there is a lot more. In it are frontier people that enjoy the peace and the stars. In the area there are points of interest that are worth bragging about, in it are events that rock, and in it are people that are taming the land! But we don't have local news, local municipal services (mostly), and an easy way to hear about each other in an aural format. We are here to start changing that.

This is a report of the annual event. It is a celebration of the legacy by citizens of Spicewood as they relate over a hundred years of family history. The families gather to bbq all night and bring their favorite side dishes for all to enjoy.
The Community Center is originally a one-room schoolhouse that has been renovated and hosts many Spicewood events but this one brings all the original founding families together.
