What If Your Inner Peace Is The Revolution?
Hello beautiful souls! Protecting your peace isn't selfish—it's essential spiritual work for navigating today's chaotic world. After a four-month hiatus following personal loss and transformation, I'm reflecting on how we can maintain our center when everything around us seems designed to provoke fear and division.
The modern information landscape deliberately keeps us in low vibrational states—anger, fear, outrage—which prevents us from accessing our higher thinking and making decisions from a place of clarity. By consciously choosing what energy we allow into our field, we reclaim our power. Whether through Reiki, meditation, breathwork, or simply disconnecting from news cycles, these practices aren't about ignoring reality but about maintaining the energy we want to embody and share.
As Gandalf wisely told Frodo, "All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us." We may not have chosen these turbulent times, but we can choose how we respond to them. Every interaction is an energy exchange, especially in online spaces where people desperately try to prove they're right by tearing others down. These exchanges rarely change minds—they simply perpetuate division. Instead, we can approach difficult conversations with genuine curiosity and openness to learn.
Remember that you're not alone on this journey. We're supported by ancestors, spirit guides, angels, and loved ones who have crossed over. They walk beside us, offering guidance when we quiet our minds enough to listen. Seeking joy through laughter, meaningful stories, and spiritual understanding isn't frivolous—it's medicine for the soul during challenging times.

Robert
Hello, beautiful souls. Welcome to Unlined and Elevate with Kelly. Thank you so much for being here. I am a Reiki master, teacher, mother, wife and lover of all things spiritual. This podcast is a place where we explore metaphysics, holistic healing and so much more. Join me on a quest to find tools and knowledge for continued spiritual growth. It is my passion to help people learn more about the energy body and how spiritual knowledge can help us better navigate a chaotic world. It is really hard to be human. Learning self-mastery, unconditional love of yourself and others is the best way to better our world. The outer world is a reflection of our inner world. Gandhi famously said be the change you wish to see. Real change begins and starts with each and every one of us, so let's do the work. If you love this podcast, please leave a review on Apple Podcasts and Spotify. This helps with the algorithms and spreads the show's messages and makes it more discoverable. Thank you so much for being here again and enjoy this episode.
Speaker 1:Hello, beautiful souls, it has been four months since I've uploaded a podcast. I have had a rough start to 2025. I want to wish everybody a happy new year. Obviously, it's four months late. I had lost my grandma, who I was very close to on Christmas Eve, had a lot of changes in my personal life, lots of just different kind of things going on there. Change is the one thing that we all know is consistent, right, and it's how we adapt and move through that change. We always have choices and we're currently living in this time where it's really chaotic. There's lots of chaos, lots of turmoil, lots of negativity, and I actually see it as a time full of possibility, where we are being presented with ample opportunities to expand, to grow, to practice what we preach, to use the tools that we've learned on our spiritual paths that we can still live joyfully and in gratitude, no matter what's going on. There is still beauty and loving people around us. I think it's important today. I just wanted to talk about protecting your peace. Coming back to yourself, I think right now more than ever, it is so important to take time for yourself in prayer, meditation, reiki, whatever it is the practice that you like, to cleanse your energy, come back to yourself. You could do breath work right. There's all these things out there that we can do to bring us back to center, to calm.
Speaker 1:One of the things that I've done and I've done this actually for a few years now is I pretty much never watch the news. I really try to avoid it at all costs Because, honestly, I will tell you, if something major happens, there's always a way Like it finds its way to you. Like you will find, you'll hear it through a neighbor or you will hear, honestly, even some spiritual podcasts they listen to. They will talk sometimes about current events, but in a spiritual manner, which I love. I love that perspective.
Speaker 1:So I wanted to talk a little bit about ways that we can do that and, moving into 2025, I want to put something out weekly where I give, where we talk about a subject, we can talk about a Descendant Master, a healing modality, and I just wanted to help. I want to provide information and tools for us to use to help us through these difficult times, things that help me, things that bring me back to center and I guess for me, like I've seen, like especially in the last 10 years, especially the last couple election cycles, there's a lot of things being out there used to divide, right, they really want people divided and angry and it's cost me to reflect on that, like why does every, why do they want people constantly outraged. Why do they want people hating each other or this, that and the next thing and you start to look at and learn about energy and fear is a very low vibrational state. Being in anger and resentment all of those are low vibrational states. The current way things, the information hits us, whether it be through social media or however you're intaking your information, it keeps you in the fight, flight, freeze, fawn. So we're in that low vibrational area where we're not critically thinking, we're not using our, we're not able to make the best decisions or process information sometimes in the best way. So I really don't. I choose to live in love. I choose to send loving information out, things that just are meant to help uplift.
Speaker 1:And I'm here to tell you I'm human. I'm living a human experience. Do I struggle with things? Absolutely, absolutely, I struggle. I have to find ways, I have to lean on my tools. I will tell you, I've had Christian Standingstone on this or on my podcast.
Speaker 1:Before he's a Reiki master. He has a beautiful Reiki collective. Before he's a Reiki master, he has a beautiful Reiki collective, but he had recently put out this post about the Reiki precepts and how we should be falling back on Reiki in times of struggle Reiki and I know that I've been practicing Reiki for years now. But seeing that post was like wait a minute. I you know because I hadn't been doing that practice. But just how important going back to yourself and going back to that practice, how much that really does help with any sort of stressful situation. It doesn't necessarily. Maybe the news doesn't stress you out, maybe you know it's a personal thing or something at your children's school or a name who knows right, like that. Life is full of interesting situations or sporting events or whatever it is. So we all have things that we need to work through and I just would be like don't give your power away. Before you get into an exchange with someone, just know that's an exchange of energy that you're agreeing to.
Speaker 1:A lot of things that happen online are really ugly. I've seen a lot of ugliness and I just don't see how you know everyone's trying to be right or they have the moral high ground and I'm right and you're wrong, and this is like constantly going back and forth, doesn't matter which side you're on, right or whatever that is. I constantly see there are people like saying terrible things to each other. That's like ripping each other down and I just don't see the benefit of it. I don't think anyone's changing anyone's mind there. That's not like an open discussion like where because there can be beautiful open conversations where you talk about difficult things, where great things, like people come away from it with a deeper understanding of each side and maybe change their perspective. But a lot of the stuff that kind of happens out there on the online sphere is not that way and so it's triggering. But just know that you don't have to let any of that bother you, you don't have to engage in it and I just would say just think about what am I supposed to like?
Speaker 1:I guess another thing for me, another perspective, is to start looking at everything as a teacher, because everything is supposed to be teaching us something we could be learning ways to be more tolerant, ways to be more loving, ways to be more compassionate, expand our compassion and understanding for maybe something that we never we've. We had like hard lined on something before, right, but then we start to soften our heart and listen and put ourselves in another person's situation and maybe come out of that with a little bit of more understanding and compassion and I think, like approaching things in that way, like the world needs more love, the world needs more compassion, not tearing each other down, but we're here, we're living this experience and we're here for a reason, like our soul chose to live at this time for a specific reason. And when we come together in spirit, like we come together as equals, we are all in this together, we are all connected and I believe, like what you and this is something when you learn about energy where your focus goes, energy flows and it does ripple out around you. So the way I look at it is I want to contribute to the higher vibrations, I want to add to love, I want to add to positivity, I want to impact people in that way. I don't want to add to the chaos. I don't choose to do that. I'm not ignorant. I understand that there is a lot going on. I just don't choose to add to the negativity, because the truth of the matter is lowering your vibration, lowering yourself, does not better anybody or anything, or any conflict. A rising tide raises all ships. So when we do inner work, when we take time to pause and to rethink and to, or just whatever it is, connect with nature, meditate, you know, read a book, all of that stuff that brings us back to center, brings us back to a loving space. All of that adds then to love, to a loving space. All of that adds then to love.
Speaker 1:And I recently had been re -watching the Lord of the Rings series and in the fellowship, Frodo, who is tasked with this for those that don't know is tasked with destroying this ring that if he doesn't do it, it'll be doom for all. And they have this fellowship where there's all these different people who are going to be helping him on this journey, and one character who he's known for a long time, is going to mentor a person he's looked up to. He says to him I wish that the ring had never come to me, I wish that none of this had happened. And Gandalf, that mentor figure, says so, do all that. Live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. So for me, I'm like that really hit me and it's like what? So right now we're living in turbulent times, we're living in chaos, right? This isn't the first time in history that this is, things like this have occurred. For me it was like, ok, what am I going to do with the time that I have? What am I going to do? I'm going to choose to live in love. I'm going to choose to radiate love. I'm going to choose to share uplifting information to help. That is what I choose to do and I am so happy to be here, I'm so happy that you guys have been with me on this journey and I just felt really called to do this.
Speaker 1:I did pull an Oracle card for this specific podcast and I was called right away to the Work your Light deck by Rebecca Campbell. For those of you who don't know who she is, she has a podcast, she teaches classes, she has written books. She has several decks of oracle cards. Everything she puts out is absolutely beautiful and just beautiful, soul-connecting work. Definitely, I will put links out there to her podcast and to the specific deck that I'm pulling this card from. And you know what's funny is that it's so beautifully synchronistic.
Speaker 1:The card that I pulled from this deck for today is Share your voice, come out of the cave persecution expression. And it's this woman sitting in a cave and she's looking out, coming out of it and seeing all the beauty that is out there. There's pyramids and stars and, again, like I feel, like a world of possibility. Right where we can, we do have power, we can impact, change. The smallest person or voice makes a difference. Our choices make a difference. The message on the card. I'm going to read it here to you guys and this is right from her, honoring her what she channeled for this particular card you are being called to share your voice in a relationship or through writing, speaking, singing or some other form of creative expression.
Speaker 1:We hold a truth deep within us that longs to be expressed. Sculpted for lifetimes, the voice of your soul is like no other. It carries with it wisdom that can only be gained through soul, history and growth. By remembering, tapping into and expressing this unique tone, we not only heal ourselves, we also heal the planet at large. Just like I was talking about before, a rising tide raises all ships. So when we do this work, when we do the positive work, we are contributing to that. But again, that also is the same on the negative right. If we choose to do negative, then it's going to be adding to the other side of it, continuing on. When you share your voice, you unlock something in the universe and call a missing piece of you home. Your individual voice is the most powerful sound current on the planet.
Speaker 1:If you have kept your soul's voice silenced or held back, chanting or singing could be truly life-changing for you. As we shed the layers of our personality and start letting our unique soul speak through us, we discover that we actually have a very clear message that longs to be shared. The more we speak it, the clearer it gets. There has never been a better time in history than right now to rise up, speak your truth, share your soul's voice If you feel fearful, know that you are not alone and that the world needs your unique tone in order to harmonize. As we each rise up and share our song, we make it easier for the next person to do the same. Express yourself, share your voice, speak to those who can hear you. Share your voice, speak to those who can hear you.
Speaker 1:So this also I want to highlight. It talks about how you're not in this alone, and that's something like we can often feel, right, like that we are on this journey alone, but we actually aren't. We have spirit teams, we have our ancestors, there are ascended masters that we can call on, there are people who have come before us that you can. I mean you have angels with you right this minute that are there supporting you and you know there is all the people that you have loved, that have passed on to the other side. They are walking this journey with you. They are part of your everyday life. Talk to them. I talked to my mom. My mother's been passed for 17 years. I still talk to her like she's here with me. I talk to my grandma because they can hear us. It's just not. They're just that here in the physical, but they are very much every a part of our everyday life and we are not alone and we are our ancestors dream to live in this time, to speak. We have podcasting. We have so many ways to reach people and in loving ways, and to share beautiful information that is going to help uplift each other, to help us to all learn and expand and grow on this beautiful journey.
Speaker 1:Don't give your power away. Do not allow anyone to steal your joy or take that from you. Take your peace. Do not allow that. Go inward, listen like I get it. Things happen. We may get angry, we may have a frustrating moment, but do something that will call you back to yourself. That helps you to return to your breath, look at the situation in a different way and then move through it right. Sort out those feelings. Whatever it is that you're feeling, we have to. There is no, the only way through things is feeling it. We've got to feel our emotions, we've got to process, express and move through things and that's just life. Right it's.
Speaker 1:And again, like I said, we're all in this together. We need to be less judgmental of others because, truthfully, nobody really knows what anyone's carrying, what anyone's really deeply and truly experienced. But we see people make snap judgments all the time, or but we really don't know what people are carrying, what they've lived. So let's try to find it in ourselves, let's try to be more compassionate. I have, I can tell you, like I really try to not judge and to try to put myself in someone else's shoes. And there are many times in my life where I did judge and where I didn't, where I wouldn't have been as compassionate, and but that's just part of learning. Right, like it's okay. It's okay to have not been perfect, that's perfectly imperfect beings, and the only way that we learn is through experience and through understanding the contrast, right, the light and the dark, like we experience really hard things as humans and it can be really hard to understand it. How does like understanding how those dark things or terrible things losing loved ones can benefit us? Right, it's really hard to get in that headspace, but I have had so many things along my journey where I the most difficult times of my life have been the most expansive and transformative. It's just those things, just like those dark nights of the soul. They just really shake you to your core, make you really think about things, and when everyone comes through things differently, everybody uses different tools.
Speaker 1:I just wanted to share some things with you that have been helping me lately. Right, I love to laugh. I really truly believe laughter is medicine, right, like it is so good for your soul. Try to laugh, find something, laugh at something, whatever it is, that brings you to tears, laughing or just gets you to laugh out loud. Seek that out, enjoy something like that. There is a show on Netflix called Dairy Girls and it's about these high school girls living in Northern Ireland in the 90s, late 90s, and they're like going through that whole experience of that and it is just so lighthearted. There is so much wit, humor and I just it just spoke so to my soul and to my heart that I just really highly recommend that for people to bring you joy. I'll definitely put the subtitles on. They have heavy accents so at least for me, of course it's in English so you can understand it, but just so you don't miss anything because they are. It's just so packed full of like wit. I just really enjoy it. So I definitely want to recommend that to you guys.
Speaker 1:On this, on a spiritual note, understanding why we experience tough things in life, bad things, why do bad things happen to good people? There's a book I read early on it was recommended to me early on in my experience called your soul's plan discovering the real meaning of life you planned before you were born and it's written by a guy named robert schw and he this kind of helps you, like to understand you know what all of that is about, what we're trying to learn, how we're trying to expand and grow as a soul and how to really understand that things aren't happening to you, they're happening for you. And listen, I get that can be very hard to understand. It's very hard sometimes to see the injustice, the heinous, terrible things going on in the world and think that something it is helping soul expansion and growth but a lot of but it does. And this particular series it is a three book series helped me to see things completely differently than I ever understood. So if you're looking for something like that, I highly recommend that book.
Speaker 1:If you are a fiction lover and I am a lover of the fantasy genre, I did read Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yaros and it's a fantasy novel. There's dragons in it. It was like we're in the year of the dragon right, but it was like it's very fast paced and I really enjoyed it. So if you're a fantasy lover, I highly recommend it. It was like we're in the year of the dragon right, but it was like it's very fast paced and I really enjoyed it. So if you're a fantasy lover, I highly recommend. It's a three book series. I'm almost finished with the second one, which is called Iron Flame.
Speaker 1:For my book lovers and anyone that doesn't want to like or doesn't have the extra cash to spend on this stuff or whatever, no worries, go to your local library. A lot of that is out there. You can also find local libraries will have a Hoopla. That's an app where you can do audiobooks and ebooks. All these libraries are networked, so even if your particular library doesn't have it, they can often send it from another location. I also want to put it out there too, that YouTube if you love audiobooks I have found YouTube has also has searched the title of a book you're interested in. You may find the audiobook on YouTube where you don't have to pay anything. You can just listen through YouTube. I want to put that out there.
Speaker 1:There's also a music channel I love on YouTube called Inner Lotus Music and it's all put out there by a gentleman named Pierre and this is the description that he has put out for his channel. He writes I compose music in natural chakra, sephageo and angel number frequencies. If you want to know more, you can find all related information in video descriptions and he wishes that his music helps people to find calm and inner peace, healing and sleep and to use it to meditate. So there is so much out there. Again, this is a free thing on YouTube. You can go out there. There are sulfide frequencies for like pain, anxiety, it's like just go out there. He has. He puts new videos out weekly.
Speaker 1:There's all sorts of stuff out there. I put it up, put it on like clean. I put it on in the background just to have going. I will. I have used it during a Reiki session, I have used it during meditation, so it's all something that can help us on the way. It's just something. I'm just putting this stuff out there to try and help people, find tools to help them, and I just want to tell everybody I'm so happy to be here, I'm so happy that you're here on this journey with me. Let's do this. We're in this together. We can do this. We got this. I want to start something new as well.
Speaker 1:I really do believe in the power of prayer and I'm going to talk about that in a future episode. There's so much out there to show how powerful prayer is, how our intention is so important, and that's in everything that we do in life. Pause button anybody doing something where you aren't able to step aside. I want to ask you guys all to sit with me in prayer. Take maybe three cleansing breaths, inhaling through your nose, filling your belly, exhaling through your mouth. Do that one more time and I'm just going to ask you to sit with me and pray and, like I said, in spirit we come together as equals.
Speaker 1:It doesn't matter what your faith background is, how you identify if you're religious, not religious, spiritual, not spiritual.
Speaker 1:When we come together in prayer, we are equals and we all have the same power, and so I, just I, will call on my angels and my spirit guides I would like you to do the same for yourselves and thanking the divine source creator for bringing us together, for all of our blessings, past, present and future, and I'm going to ask you to join me with putting your hand over your heart, and I'd like you to sit with me and ask your angels, your spirit guides, ask the creator to send waves and waves of love and healing out to everyone in the world for their highest good and the highest good of all. Asking that loving energy to go out to our leaders that they may lead with integrity. Asking that loving energy to go out to our leaders that they may lead with integrity. Asking that loving energy to go to all areas of conflict, to please lend support and comfort to those that need it most. Asking for that loving energy to help bring us inner calm. Help us to radiate love and light through our every action. Help us to be the light. Help us to radiate love and light through our every action. Help us to be the light. Help us to hold the light that is so needed.

Speaker 1:Thank you creator, thank you angels and guides, thank you, audience, for spending two minutes in prayer with me. I am so honored to be on this journey with you and thank you for tuning in, and I honor the beautiful life that each and every one of you are in this world. Have a beautiful day.
