Angela, TikTok’s Temptress Witch, is a nurse whose firsthand paranormal experiences inside hospitals, nursing homes, and haunted houses blur the line between life, death, and what may come after. From childhood shadow figures to hospice patients seeing loved ones and the eerie black dog phenomenon, her stories reveal a world where the veil feels dangerously thin.
Angela shares hair-raising stories of hauntings, possessions, and entities so powerful they’ve left her and others questioning everything. From a child’s terrifying visions to furniture flipping and a cursed hospital building with a violent past, her experiences reveal a hidden layer of reality that most people never see.
Most haunting of all, some spirits never leave quietly. Angela explains how she’s seen energies resist every attempt at cleansing, sometimes escalating even after holy water, sage, and crystals are used. When objects move on their own and the living are scratched or burned, it becomes clear that some entities are not just angry, but vengeful.
You will discover how to spot the warning signs of a malevolent presence, why certain buildings can become hotbeds for dark energy, and what happens when traditional rituals are not enough. Angela’s stories are a chilling reminder that ignoring these forces can mean never feeling safe in your own home.
This episode peels back the curtain on the terrifying truths lurking just beyond our perception.

I'm literally watching this because I'm standing right there. As she reaches her hand out to the doorknob, the doorknob was like not even touching her hand, and we watched the doorknob slowly turn before she even touched it. And she like pulled her hand back, and the door flew open like halfway and then came to a dead stop. And we looked at each other and we were like, what the fuck?
SPEAKER_00Welcome to the Wandering Road, a paranormal podcast. Every mile of this road holds a story. Some are whispered, some screamed, and some never meant to be told at all. From haunted backroads to whispered legends, no case is too dark and no question too dangerous. Welcome, traveler. The road is waiting.
SPEAKER_01Going back to what you initially said, dealing with spirits and being spiritual, and you have like things to protect yourself. And you mentioned that like a friend had reached out to you, said, like, hey, I think there's something fucking with my kids. Can you help me out here? Not focusing particularly on that, but other incidents where you've been called upon to do this type of stuff. What is that process like for you? And have you encountered instances where it's like, shit, I can't help. You gotta go to the Catholic Church.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Um, so I again I consider myself like super amateur in this sense. Like I'm a helpful person. I think it's just in my nature. And because I'm like the local witchy woo-woo, I'm like the the goofy friend that's into that kind of thing. I feel like, you know, people that know me are just kind of drawn to me for those things. So they kind of just look up to me and they're like, hey, I've got this going on. Like, what do you think about this? And it's often is, I'm not even kidding you, just like a hey, I want to pick your brain type of situation. And that typically transpires into either me giving them advice, like, hey, burn some sage, like, you know, kind of go through this process, you know, get XYZ crystals or, you know, get these herbs and things. So I actually done a few instances where um, you know, people that I know have like gotten new houses or they've moved into a new place and they're like, hey, I don't know, like the vibe just kind of feels off. Like, can you just walk me through this or can you come do this for me? Um, so I've I've done countless, like just popping up at my friends' houses and like burning sage and going through the rooms, getting in the corners, opening the windows, saying like positive affirmations, declaring, you know, that we we claim no negative energy here. But, you know, I have had a couple situations where people have been experiencing actual hauntings and they're like, hey, can you help? This friend, like I just said, that reached out to me. Um, she's currently experiencing something in her house that she feels like is impacting her one of her children specifically. And it's kind of interesting because, you know, her daughter has some challenges. Like, I wouldn't, you know, quite go out there to say that there's a specific diagnosis because there isn't. You know, there's some some things that she's looking into as a mom. And it kind of has made us wonder is that the reason that this is the child that is is being kind of picked at by whatever is in that house. So, you know, I my plan in that sense is give me all the information. What exactly are you experiencing? You know, what is happening, right? As of now, like in this circumstance, you know, we're not dealing with like a physical like attack of any sort. We're we're more so just dealing with the the child is seeing things that are scaring her. Um, and she's the only child in the house that's that's dealing with that. What makes me a little leery sometimes is when you have poltergeist type activity, I guess you could say, because I'm not super experienced in that. You know, if it's like, hey, I'm seeing uh a woman apparition, or you know, I'm seeing this entity, um, or I'm hearing this, you know, a disembodied voice. For me, a lot of that is always you can kind of stand firm with that energy and give them the like, this is my house now. You need to leave, or you need to leave us alone. And that often works, believe it or not. Like just outwardly saying that and then burning some sage in the house, you know, having certain crystals for protection and and stuff. But I actually did have an instance where I know someone that moved out of a house because I came in and everything that I tried didn't work. And they actually contacted a priest to come do a blessing, and that didn't work. And that was scary. Like knowing what they were experiencing, there were they were being scratched, they would be in the shower and the cold water would go off and it would just be like scalding hot. And that that happened to one of the children in the house. You know, mom stepped out of the bathroom and child was in the bathtub and literally was just waiting for the mom to come in and like do something after she went to go grab a towel. And the water that she was running went from like lukewarm, you know, toddler temperature water to scalding hot and the child got burned. And that was like after multiple things had been done, and they were like, we cannot stay here anymore. This is this is to the point that like we're we're terrified to be here. They had had experiences of like the doorbell ringing, opening the door, nobody there. And it was happening all hours of the night, and they swore that they were being like ding-dog ditched by neighbors, and they had cameras and things like that installed, and doorbell would ring, no, nothing on the camera. They left the house and came home one day, and they come back and there's like furniture flipped upside down. House was completely locked, nobody was in there. So, whatever that was was a very strong entity, in which case I don't think it was good, whatever it was. Like, I don't do like the whole shebang that you see, you know, in TV shows. I'm definitely not someone that's going to like read scripture. Um, the most that I'll do is like with the holy water, I'll I'll utilize the holy water and I'll kind of like dab it on my fingers and I'll do like sigils, you know, in on walls and and things like that. You know, I'll take certain herb arrangements and we'll kind of put those above doorways or tuck those into, you know, places in the house. Um a lot of sage. Sage works wonders. Like it is such a powerful, powerful thing that it just cleanses so much bad energy and like really tones things down a lot. But like in that particular situation where I'm like, guys, I have no answers. Like you need professional help. Like I said, even a priest was not able to help them in that matter. They thought everything was good. And it was it was interesting because it's like the things that were being done did impact it because it would kind of slow down for periods of time, but then it would like come back with a vengeance. And that's literally what happened. Like I had come in, um, and initially, like they started just with your typical thing, like they were Googling what to do if you have a haunting in your house. And you know, they were told to tell it to leave them alone, stand your ground, let them know this is your place. And they did that and it calmed down. And then I had come in and I like I did research, like I actually did like a deep dive to like really try even tried new things that like I've never done before, you know. Um, and in that sense, like even after I did all that and felt like I covered the bases and I left behind um little uh like black obsidian like angels, little carvings. Like I left those behind and like we put them in like the kids' room. Um, you know, we kept them in like the common rooms of the house, you know, the places where the energy seemed like it was a lot, it slowed down for a bit, and then it's like boom, back with a vengeance. And then the priest came in and it slowed down for a longer period of time, but picked right back up. And like I said, once the once the baby got burned, it was like okay, time to call it quits. Um, they actually left the house in the middle of the night, went to a hotel, and moved back in with parents until they could find another place because they were like, Nope, we're not staying here.
SPEAKER_01That sounds like some horror movie type shit, to be honest with you. And if you notice, I did the holy, whole, holy water thing. And the reason I did that, it's because everything you described is when you spin up your podcast. Maybe I could come on and share these stories with you. Um, is literally everything we dealt with, specifically the coming back with a vengeance, like different things, it would taper off for a couple weeks and then right back at it, like it was just pissed off even more.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, like whatever you were doing impacted it in a way that it like weakened it for a time being and it kind of goes dormant. But like when it wakes up, it's freaking pissed.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. It's like you said, it's like you know, when you have one of those, like you said, you have a feisty cat too. I do as well. Like, in order to take her to the vet, like we have to literally drug her with a concoction, she's gotta be like sedated, yeah, heavily sedated to the point where she can't walk two steps without plopping over. That's the equivalent of what y'all did with whatever entity was there. And it's like when I wake up, I'm gonna beat the fuck out of y'all type of thing.
SPEAKER_03In that circumstance, like I like I said, I've I've experienced things on my own. Um, I can almost like pick up on energy right away in places now. Like I can walk into a building or I can pull up to a building, whether it's a house, whether it's an apartment complex, a hospital, a nursing home, a church, or whatever. And I can almost always feel something. Like I'm very empathetic and I always have been. And I feel like I I can feel energies, I can sense energies. I have never pulled up to a house where I immediately felt sick. Like when I felt yes, that was the only place. Now I can say, like, I did go do I did like a historical tour at Pennhurst Asylum, which, if you've never had the opportunity, super, super worth it. It's a very heavy feeling when you're like just pulling into the property. And that's probably the closest that I can describe to what I felt when I pulled up into that house, with the exception that that house, it was like specific, dark, negative, like you're not wanted there. Like I just I literally felt like whatever it was claimed that space as theirs, its, whatever. And it did not want anybody there. Um, and like when when I was at Pennhurst, you know, I kind of experienced a little bit of that, but it just is very like dark, very like emotional, like just heavy, right? And in different buildings in Pennhurst, there were different things that I felt. I did feel physically nauseous in one of the buildings, it wasn't as severe as it was when I had had shown up at that particular house. So again, that's the most similar that I can equate feeling that to. Um, but even then, like it was it was 10 times worse than pulling up to Pennhurst, if I'm being honest with you. And I feel like that says a lot because, you know, when you know about Pennhurst and you know the history and you know like what the paranormal community, you know, feels about Pennhurst, it's it's interesting because you hear a lot of people make make those comments regarding Pennhurst. And for me to say that this house felt worse than showing up at Pennhurst, like you know, it's it's not fun. Definitely was an interesting, interesting experience. And I will be completely honest with you, if I did not personally know the people who lived in that house, and if I did not personally experience feeling that for myself, it their story is something that like they to this day, they only talk about it with select people and people that know and or experienced it themselves because they are just so like they're like people won't freaking believe us.
SPEAKER_01Well, I for one would because I lived in a haunted house. It's one of those things where you feel like you're going crazy, people won't believe you, but it's also another thing that they probably might feel. I don't know if they've shared this with you in confidence as well. That when you talk about this stuff, if it is not a regular spirit type of entity, if it is something of the infernal, per natural, it knows when you're talking about it. And that's instances like that, you have to be very, very careful. And I know there are a lot of people that are like, okay, and I'm not trying to be facetious or negative to anybody or anything like that, but there are a lot of people that will do the sage stuff, they'll do crystals, they'll they'll do their own version of holy water like you did, sigils and stuff like that. There are times where that makes it worse, that makes it worse because it's like, yeah, you're like a fly to me. Yes, and then you've watched the haunting, yeah. Okay, like, oh, down in Georgia in 1993, like this weird shit was happening, and the people are like, Oh, we went to our like local Baptist priests, and they're like, What do they say? 99% of the fucking time, they rag on us all the time. Yeah, and when I say us, I mean like us Catholics, because I'm Catholic, I'm a bad Catholic, I'm a very bad Catholic. You're you're non-compliant, as I'm non-compliant, I'm non-compliant. The most I'm compliant with is the teaching of Jesus of not being a dick to people, like that's just for the extent, okay.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, and that makes sense, I can respect that.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and 90% of the time they're like, You gotta go talk to the Catholic Church. Their own churches are telling them you gotta go talk to the Catholic Church because it's that intense, it is that intense, and it is that dangerous. I talked to for my episode 50, I talked to uh a buddy, like an online friend from Ireland. Um, because I'm a huge soccer fan, we're huge well, football fans with Liverpool. He was talking about how his parents, them being Catholic in Ireland, had a friend that was an exorcist, and I think it was like in Zimbabwe or something. And the dude was in his 40s and looked like he was 75 years old. That is how dangerous that stuff is, and how much out of you. It literally yes, it literally drains everything out of you.
SPEAKER_03And like just to kind of you know touch on that, like I had made the comment earlier that like I'm I'm really not a religious person, I consider myself spiritual. I was born and raised Christian faith. My family was was Baptist, um, so I grew up in a Baptist church, but you know, I being in the nursing profession and having dealt with like the death and dying, you know, I have come across people of all different religions, different belief systems. And I have developed such respect for Catholicism. Actually, like I I even more recently got to partake in like a last rites ceremony with a resident who did not have family bedside, and the priest who showed up to, you know, do last rites invited me to be there kind of as the witness and and help to kind of partake in that. And I always find it interesting because again, like I can read energies, like I can feel different things. And every time that I am dealing with that, and and we're we're working with someone who is of Catholic faith, I the the feeling and the the energy that I get from that ceremony is so like calming and serene. And it's it's very different than what I feel with you know other denominations and and such. Um, so it's that's something that like I wholeheartedly like I kind of have that that realization to it that it makes sense to me why, like you mentioned, like anybody from like those Southern Baptists, like when they're being told like you need to go to the Catholic priest, you gotta contact the Catholic Church about this.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_03And you know, it's it's it's so interesting. Um, you know, to to kind of hear that dynamic and to like hear somebody else kind of describe it like you just did, because of the fact that I notice such a difference in just the energy of that Catholic faith and the way in which things are conducted that I myself am like that makes total sense to me.
SPEAKER_01You're like eastern Pennsylvania, right? So you're like most of the metropolitan area.
SPEAKER_03Yep. I'm like an hour from New York, mind you. I'm an hour from Philly.
SPEAKER_01I I grew up in New York, so like Philly is what three hours from New York, if even it's not that far away. So like my yeah, like I'm very familiar with like the metropolitan area type of stuff with an urban area, and every type of religion possible that's mainstream, I've had some sort of encounter with. And one thing I can tell you is when we lived in that home, any time one of those would try some sort of cleansing type of ritual or prayer or something, it just pissed it off even more. The only time something like actually calms stuff down temporarily was when my mom would do like a Catholic cleansing or prayer.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And this thing fucking hated it to the point where it came to her in a dream and threatened her.
SPEAKER_03If like the godfather of all religions is like just pissing it off even more, like you, you know, in my in my like my brain, the way that I would describe that is like your mom brought out the big guns, that was the reaction, and it didn't work. Like that shit is wild.
SPEAKER_01If your kids ever tell you they see an imaginary friend or they had an imaginary friend when they were younger, they ain't they ain't chitting with you. Um I know.
SPEAKER_03I know when I told you the story about my brother, like we initially thought like maybe my brother had an imaginary friend, you know, like kids kind of develop that, right? It's actually really funny because like imaginary friends kind of freak my dad out to the point that like my my stepmother had an imaginary friend when she was a kid. Interesting too, because it didn't like her imaginary friend was not named like Michelle or like Sabrina, it was named Babu.
SPEAKER_01Baboo.
SPEAKER_03And I like think about that and I'm like, that is fucking crazy, right? Even to this day, like occasionally my stepmom will like make a joke to my dad because she told the story about it and it freaked my dad out. And my dad is like, my dad is is someone who is um religious but not like not compliant. He occasionally does go to church. He, you know, very, very much, you know, believes in heaven, he believes in prayer. When when my stepmother like kind of talks about like having an imaginary friend, for some reason it sets him off. Like my dad has had experiences that he can't explain, you know, and he and I have like kind of gone back and forth about some stories and stuff, but he doesn't delve as deep as I do. And my dad is not someone that's gonna talk about like negative energies, you know, the possibility of like demonic forces and things like that. But something about imaginary friends freaks him out. And when my stepmom like mentions it or like tells a story about her imaginary friend, like my dad leaves the room and he gets so like uncomfortable because she'll sometimes like joke with him and she'll say to him, like, oh, um, we have a visitor coming this week. And he's like, Oh, really? Like, who's coming? Is she's like, Oh, well, like, I need you to go pick somebody up. And he's like, Oh, who is it? And she'll be like, Oh, Baboo is coming to visit. And he's like, No, Babu isn't coming to be no damn baboo's coming to my house. Like, it's actually really funny. But like, to your point, I've often wondered, like, A, with the name not being like a normal name, she doesn't like have an answer for like what did Babu look like? Like, she really can't like tell you that. It's almost like that has been like erased from her memory in some sense, but it it makes me wonder like, did she have something that was like attaching itself to her when she was a child? And we had talked earlier about like our children were susceptible to certain things. So I find that like super interesting that you made like the imaginary friend remark, and that just like triggered my my stepmother's imaginary friend in my brain.
SPEAKER_01My dad, for the longest time when we lived in that house, is like, you know, he's he's a working man, he didn't have time. Like now, when I started the show, like everybody, like everybody fucking comes out the woodwork now. And you'll probably see that too. Once you started your channel, it's like, okay, all right, now I know I wasn't crazy. It's like, okay, now my dad has stories, my mom has stories, my sister has extra stuff that she Experienced alone that I didn't experience with her. And I think the biggest indicator is when people experience things together. It's like, fuck, we weren't both hallucinating.
SPEAKER_03So you know what? Funny that you mentioned that because I just had this exact conversation the other day where someone that like I ran into was like, oh my God, like hey, I haven't seen you in a while. By the way, I saw that you're on TikTok and you're like telling these stories and things. And um, one of the stories that I told was, well, I've told a couple of like not just me being by myself, but other people, you know, they're with me and have experienced things. And we literally had the conversation where I'm like, people can call me crazy as much as they want to. And like, you can believe, like, take everything with a grain of salt, no matter what people are telling you, is kind of the perspective that I always have, right? Because unless I'm there to witness it with a person, I can't truly validate that. And I don't expect people to like believe everything that I say just because I'm telling them that this happened to me, right? But the one thing that I say is like the most irrefutable, undeniable is the fact that in that building, we have multiple things where there were several of us present at the same time and experienced it together. You know, particularly the first one that comes to mind is there were like four of us one night and we were all on the first floor, we were getting ready to order food, and we heard like a flutter of like paper. Like if you have like paper and like you kind of move it, it makes like a fluttering sound. Our first instinct was, oh, the one resident, she's up, you know, doing what she does in the middle of the night. So when we heard it initially, like we kind of just like ignored it, but then we're like, you know what? I know we all heard that. Like, let's just go like check on everybody, make sure nobody's getting anything. We had a few residents on that floor that would like just get up and like fiddle with shit in the middle of the night. So we all branch off and we like start going and like we're opening doors, we're checking on people, and we get to the back hallway. And when I look down the hallway, I'm like, what the hell? And um, it's like a regulation that for fire safety, you have to have some sort of a marker um on the door, whether it's a magnet that sticks to the door or it's like a door hanger, like the do not disturb door hanger signs that you see in hotel rooms, things like that. And one side says evacuated, the other side says occupied. And what you do is that in the event of a fire, you know, there's a process to like evacuate the building. And what you do is like as you get people out of the room, you make sure that it says evacuated. And then if it's somebody that you cannot evacuate, you flip it around to say occupied and hang it on the door to close the door. Because in fire safety, they teach you that if you close a door, that's better than like leaving a door open because it kind of protects the room from you know the spread of fire, the spread of smoke, things like that. We see one of those door hangers laying in the middle of the hall. So I'm like, okay, maybe like the air vent kicked on and it just happened to like blow it off the handle. No big deal. I pick it up and like I turn to go hang it on the door that it's directly in front of. And I'm like, that's weird. That door has one on it. So then I look to my right down the hallway, and every other door has one on it. So I'm like, huh. So then I look down the other way, and the only door that was missing one was the door that was all the way at the end of the hall. So I'm like, that's too freaking far for that have blown the hell off of there. But the resident that was in that room would um like clockwork, like he would set alarms on his phone for his medication. Maybe, maybe he came out, maybe he had it in his hand, maybe he dropped it, who knows? Maybe he was confused. So I'm like, whatever. And it's myself and two other people in that hallway. And we walk over, I put the the door hanger back on the door, and I go to turn away and I'm like, you know what? And I say to my one coworker, I'm like, open the door and just check on him real quick, make sure he's not in there like on the floor or doing something, right? So she reaches her hand out to grab the doorknob to open it before I'm literally watching this because I'm standing right there. And the other nurse that was working with us was like kind of standing behind her and off to the side. And as she reaches her hand out to the doorknob, the doorknob was like not even touching her hand, and we watched the doorknob slowly turn before she even touched it, and she like pulled her hand back, and the door flew open like halfway and then came to a dead stop. And we looked at each other and we were like, What the fuck? So we it like took us a minute because we were like kind of scared, and we like gently pushed the door open, and the resident was in bed snoring out which I had to sternal rub this man to like get a response out of him, so it wasn't him, he didn't come out of that room and mess with the door. Like it was it was so crazy. And that was actually the same room that like a while later, after that resident had moved, we had another person in there, and he was like screaming, wanted out of the room, like demanded to be moved. And this is someone that he wasn't really that confused, he was for the most part very with it. Um, he would get confused if he had like a urinary tract infection or you know, someone were these dementia patients as well, or some of them were, some of them were not. So it was like where our like higher acuity was. So some of them had dementia, and we had to keep them on that floor, but other residents on that same floor didn't necessarily have dementia, but they just had higher care needs. So that was where in that building our high acuity was. This particular guy, he was just high acuity. He was on hospice, he was in there and like he's freaking out one night. He swore up and down that there was a girl in the corner of his room and she was holding her head. Like he demanded it was to the point we actually had to bring him out of the room. Like we had to get him in his wheelchair, bring him out, and keep him out like at the nurse's station, because he would not let us put him back in that room. He would not go to sleep, he said he was not staying in there. It kind of became like a running joke amongst us where like, was she like holding her head or was she holding her head? Because he didn't really specify. Um, and you know, it was it was kind of weird. And and that room was a little bit eerie. It had like a little energy to it. There were a couple of rooms on that floor that had energy that was kind of spooky. Um, and particularly, I don't know if you saw it's I think it's like my most watched video on my page right now. Um, it really blew up. And it's the one where I had my cousin Carly with me, and we told the story that is the scariest that we've experienced in the building. And I had been working down on the first floor by myself that night. She was, I think, on the second or third, and we used to kind of tag team first floors, so whoever was on the other floors would come down and help whoever was working on first floor because, like I mentioned, it was high acuity. So, really, you needed two people to get the care done, and it was just a lot, and the other two floors didn't need a lot of care. Um, and this is actually before I was a nurse, I was just a CNA at the time, and I had somebody who had a one-to-one caregiver. Well, the one-to-one caregiver was like, Hey, do you mind sitting with him for a few minutes so I can go grab my food? And I'm like, Yeah, sure, no problem. So I sit with him, and in the meantime, um, my cousin Carly, she gets on the walkie and she's like, Hey, like, I'm getting ready to come down and do rounds. And I basically tell her, like, okay, cool. I'm sitting in, you know, so-and-so's room. If you want to start, like on, you know, the the high side, and then I'll jump out of here as soon as the aide gets back, I'll do low side, and then we'll like meet in the middle, and then we'll jump, we'll get everybody that's like a two assist. So the aide comes back. Um, I'm like coming out of the room, and my cousin is like hauling ass down the hallway. She's white as a freaking ghost, no pun intended. And she's like, Are you fucking with me? And I'm like, What? Like, I'm so confused. I'm like, what? She's like, You're fucking with me, aren't you? I'm like, what are you talking about? And um, she's like, When were you last in so-and-so's room? And I was like, I don't know, like 11, like last rounds. Why? She's like, Go in the room, go in the room. You think you're funny. I'm like, what are you talking about? Like, you're crazy. I haven't been in there. Like, she's fine. I checked, I peeked in on her maybe an hour ago, she was asleep. She's like, Go in the room. So I walk with her to that room, and she's like, Go ahead, go in the room, look in there. Push the door open, and right to the left, as soon as you open the door, was a bathroom. And then it was kind of like a studio style room. So, like, bathroom right immediately to the left, and then it opened up into the room. I still sometimes have trouble processing exactly what we saw because my brain just cannot make sense of the situation. And I have taken so much time over the years to like try to explain this. So, this resident in her room, the way that it was set up, she had her bed, and then to the left of the bed, she had like a little like antique like table, and it was like a corner style table. So it was a table with three legs, it was solid wood, it was actually very heavy, and on that table she had like pictures, and there was like a flower arrangement, and she had like a picture of Jesus, like propped up like with the flower arrangement. I again, I still like can't process it, but when I opened that door, the bathroom light was on, on the floor leading from the corner to the bathroom, was every picture that she had on that table, and it was face down, like in a trail leading to the bathroom door. The picture of Jesus was on the floor, the vase with flowers was broken over top of the picture, and the table itself was picked up and placed over top of the toilet. Physically, that resident could not. I don't care who you are, I don't care how you explain it, there is no fucking way that that resident could physically have picked up that table, let alone bent down and put every one of those pictures face down on the floor.
SPEAKER_01Was the resident in the room when you're gonna be able to do that?
SPEAKER_03She was in her bed asleep when all this transpired. She was when we opened that, she was in her bed sleeping, sound asleep. And this is somebody who always slept barefoot. So when I saw the glass, my first instinct was, oh my god, check her feet. Like her feet are gonna be cut all to bits. And we pulled the blanket back and she didn't have a mark on her feet. And she was somebody that she did have dementia and it was very severe. And she was someone that like during the day, sweet as can be, but when you went into her room at night, it's almost like she would like blindly stare through you, and it was very, very odd, very eerie.
SPEAKER_01And I just feel like sundowning.
SPEAKER_03She really didn't sundown like in a behavioral like she wasn't mean, she was never mean, but it's almost just like you would look at her at nighttime and like the lights were on, but no one was home. Almost like catatonic. And I I remember like when this happened, and like we went to check her feet, like we woke her up and like she just stared at us blankly, and like we were trying to talk to her, and like she wasn't really responding to us. And then um, like it was just so strange. Like, and the more I think about it, like this is somebody that barely was able to walk utilizing her walker, like she couldn't even pick the walker up without like falling backwards. There's no way she picked that heavy ass table up and placed it, like literally lifted it at least a foot and a half, two feet in the air to place it over top of the toilet. And what was even crazier about it was my cut, like when we were like in the process, we called for the the one nurse that was working upstairs, and she like is coming down the hallway and like she sees us standing at the room, just like so confused. And she's like, Is it a bug? And we're like, No, it's not we used to call people to kill bugs first because we're terrified. Um, but like we're like, no, like come look at this. And she like walked, and I'll never forget it. It's the funniest thing ever, like looking back, but like she walked right over. She like looked in the room and she was like, Nope, and walked the fuck away. My cousin and I still laugh at her reaction to it because we're like, she really just left us. She was like, F you two bitches, like, I'm out. And that whole situation, like to this day, freaks me out. And my cousin was actually the one to notice what I think is even more freaky than anything, was she looked up as we were like cleaning up the the mess and everything, and she said, Oh my god. And I'm like, what? And she pointed, and we looked up to the wall, and her crucifix was upside down.
SPEAKER_01Oh, fuck that.
SPEAKER_03And that same room had very strange energy after that resident moved out. Another resident had moved in. She had a chair and in the room, and she had this like big black teddy bear and like all these other stuffed animals on the chair, and like broad daylight one day, one of my other caregivers was like, Were you in so-and-so's room? And I'm like, No, why? And the room, like the doors would lock, like they actually had locks on those doors, and only the care staff had the keys. I didn't have a key to that room because I was doing meds that day. So my caregivers are the ones that had the keys, and I will never forget this poor guy. He was like, You're messing with me. And I'm like, No, like I haven't been in there. What are you talking about? The resident has been out here the entire time, and he's like, Come look at this, and he opens the door, and that fucking black teddy bear was facing the door in the middle of the floor, and all the other stuffed animals were in a fucking circle around it. Freaking serious, I swear to God.
SPEAKER_01Did so that facility was that the one that was like a hospital before?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, without going into full detail on like the full history. So the building that I worked in, um, that is now a nursing home, was a hospital building. I don't know exactly like what year that building was built and became the building that was that was a hospital. I know that hospital shut down somewhere in like the 80s um because another another local hospital was built nearby, um, just a bigger facility, more equipped, right? Prior to the current building having been a hospital, there was the original hospital building, which was a separate building out back that is still standing to this day. That original building had been like built onto over the years, and that was like early 1900s, like maybe even 1800s that it was built. There is a pretty intense situation that I feel like brings and kind of casts some negative energy on the property itself related to the original hospital building. And and long story short, there was essentially what I would call a hate crime that occurred. It's like a local tale, and there's a couple different variations of the story where a certain gentleman um was involved in an incident earlier that day that was of racial origin. And that person basically fled after this incident and attempted to off himself um in a local, like on like a local farm, and was then found and taken to the hospital for treatment because his attempt was unsuccessful. Once the word got through the town that this person had been found and that person was in the hospital, there were angry citizens that showed up mob style, drug this person out of the original hospital building, and then took that person to a local farm and they did awful, awful things. Because of that, I feel like there's very, very dark negative energy there. So I feel like there that influences a lot of it. Um, coupled with the fact that once the big building was built and it was a hospital and things happen in hospitals, you know, like hospitals see a revolving door of life and death and and all of these different things and sicknesses. And when you look back over the years, it's like, you know, modern medicine today has progressed so much. So the things that, you know, the treatments and and some of the ways in which, you know, we're so lucky today because we have cures and and treatments available that can kind of get ahead of things before they get too severe. Whereas back in the day, like you didn't have that. Medicine was not as successful back then as it is now. And I kind of feel like that's kind of where that dark and gloomy and dreary and sad and heavy energy kind of comes from. So it does make you wonder are some of the things that were happening there residual from the past?
SPEAKER_01I definitely believe that there is something to that, especially depending on how old the facility was, the hospital, and all the negativity that happens, and even the old style of medication, like you know, providing prescribing medicine and stuff like that, is very um crude depending on the time period as opposed to now. So I definitely think that there's something um at one point or another, somebody really angry is still there, they didn't like what happened to them, they didn't like the type of treatment, or you know, they went before their time and they had unfinished business, so it's like, you know what? I'm gonna stick around and just piss everybody off and you know literally, yeah, make shit hell for everybody else. But Angela, thank you so much for being on tonight, and I would absolutely love to have you back on for a part two. I know Dean had to leave earlier, so I'm sure he has like a plethora of other questions to ask you.
SPEAKER_03Oh, yeah, and I like again, I am I'm such an open book and I have so many experiences. So you guys just let me know. Like, I'd be happy to jump on anytime and and continue, continue telling my tales and you know, kind of discussing just all things, you know, paranormal that what what you guys experience, what you guys believe in. I'm really happy. Um, I think this was you know super fun. I love like just the conversation piece for me. It's you know, a little less on the spot of like I have to make a video and I have to tell this story, and I'm on a time crunch for it. So being able to have dialogue and kind of go back and forth, I I love that so much.
SPEAKER_01I appreciate that. That's what you know, initially we try to aim to do.
SPEAKER_03I wish that I had the opportunity to have someone there that was able to be like, oh, this is how I can explain this and and make it make sense because I've tried for years to make sense over some of these stories, and I'm just like, you can't make sense of the the nonsensible, like at all.
SPEAKER_01No, not at all, not at all. Angela, before we end, why don't you share where the people can reach you and via your TikTok videos?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, definitely. Um, so I am on TikTok. Let me get like my exact handle here because I did have I had a previous TikTok account, but I didn't post on it, and then I just made my new one. So it is temptress.witch on TikTok, and I'm looking forward to posting a whole bunch more. Um, like I said, I'm kind of in early brainstorming of bringing up my own podcast, which won't necessarily just be paranormal, it'll kind of be a little bit about everything. So, you know, stay tuned for that. Give me a follow, give me a like, leave me some comments, reach out to me with your own paranormal experiences. And yeah, like I'm super, super stoked and looking forward to kind of being able to continue on with my stories and and just telling other fun things about ghosts and and being a nurse and what I what I deal with. So it's been super fun. Thank you so much. And yeah, we'll definitely do a part two.
