Miguel Aguilar: Owner & Executive Chef of Surfish Bistro, Winner of "Chopped"
Miguel Aguilar is an incredible chef and business owner from Peru. He is currently Executive Chef and owner of Surfish Bistro in Brooklyn, NY. Miguel was trained by Bobby Flay and eventually went on to win Season 7 of Chopped on Food Network.
We dive into much of the adversity Miguel has overcome both in his past and more recently after the food service industry fall out from the pandemic. Miguel and his family devised some incredible ways to keep their business alive throughout the pandemic and serve their local population in Brooklyn.
