Welcome to Working For Progress with social entrepreneur Dani Trudeau. This podcast is all about real conversations with real people who are shaping their working lives in meaningful ways. From the heart of Tribe Porty and beyond, Dani connects with guests whose stories reflect the grit, passion, and purpose behind the work they do.
Through candid and thoughtful interviews, you’ll hear about career journeys that inspire, challenge, and reveal the quiet truths of our shared human experience. Each conversation starts with simple pleasures, winds through tough jobs and daring decisions, and lands in those unforgettable moments of flow and awe.
We’re all working for progress—within ourselves, for each other, and for a better world.

Adam McGibbon
Adam is a long standing Tribe Porty member and it was great to speak with him today about what he does. Adam is an early starter and an environmental campaigner and strategist with a deep passion to win. But the catch is that he wants to win for the good of the planet and people.
Previously Adam has worked managing election campaigns for climate friendly politicians. He currently works with Oil Change International on a campaign to end the flow of money from major governments to fossil fuel projects.
Adam is currently working with Oil Change International on a campaign to end the flow of money from major governments to fossil fuel projects. And with quite a bit of success, with 39 countries and governments pledging to take action, and billions shifted to clean energy instead - it came out of a successful campaign he ran to get the UK Government to stop using billions of taxpayers money to finance fossil fuels overseas, from 2017-20.
Adam also ran the UK branch of the environmental organisation Market Forces for two years, focusing on banks rather than governments. Before that, he worked as an election campaigns manager for climate-friendly politicians, and before before that, Adam was a student activist in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He was one of the leaders of the 2010 university tuition fee protests in Northern Ireland and managed to get a fee rise stopped, saving students around £1 billion by 2020.
