00:12:04.000 --> 00:12:05.279 Or y'all, everybody? 00:12:07.519 --> 00:12:11.039 God didn't kill them because of what they gave or what they didn't give. 00:12:11.279 --> 00:12:14.080 God killed them because they lied. 00:12:14.879 --> 00:12:22.480 And right in the check, Saint Peter, who was pastoring the church, and he was there when they lied, and he was there when they died. 00:12:22.720 --> 00:12:25.120 This is what it says, chapter 5, verse 3. 00:12:25.279 --> 00:12:27.600 Peter said, Ananias, that's the guy's name. 00:12:27.759 --> 00:12:34.320 Why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit? 00:12:34.559 --> 00:12:40.240 And then he says, You have lied, you have not lied to man, but to God. 00:12:41.120 --> 00:12:47.200 So Saint Peter was saying, When you lie to the Holy Spirit, you lie to God. 00:12:47.519 --> 00:12:48.159 You know why? 00:12:48.320 --> 00:12:50.399 Because the Holy Spirit is fully God. 00:12:50.480 --> 00:12:52.000 And Saint Peter believed that. 00:12:52.080 --> 00:12:53.120 Let me give you just one more example. 00:12:53.200 --> 00:12:53.679 This is from St. 00:12:53.759 --> 00:12:54.000 Paul. 00:12:54.159 --> 00:13:03.440 In the Old Testament, you guys know, if you're kind of familiar with it, in the Old Testament, the temple in Jerusalem was the place where the Spirit of God dwelled on the earth. 00:13:03.519 --> 00:13:07.679 It's where he came to as a symbol of the presence of God to his people. 00:13:07.840 --> 00:13:10.320 But after Jesus came, Jesus is God in the flesh. 00:13:10.480 --> 00:13:12.879 Jesus is crucified on the cross for the sins of the world. 00:13:13.120 --> 00:13:15.519 Jesus is raised from the dead, and then he's ascended to heaven. 00:13:15.600 --> 00:13:19.600 And after Jesus is ascended to heaven, the Holy Spirit was given to believers. 00:13:19.759 --> 00:13:27.840 And after the Holy Spirit of God was put into the hearts of believers, the temple ceased to function like that. 00:13:28.080 --> 00:13:31.840 The temple was no longer the place where the Spirit of God dwelled. 00:13:32.000 --> 00:13:34.799 Now the believers is where the Spirit of God dwells. 00:13:34.879 --> 00:13:35.120 And St. 00:13:35.279 --> 00:13:37.120 Paul says it like this, 1 Corinthians chapter 3. 00:13:37.200 --> 00:13:38.080 I'll put it on the screens. 00:13:38.159 --> 00:13:46.720 He says, Do you not know that you, believers, are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?
