Episode 130: Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1932)

Sawyer Gann

Welcome back to Film Haven Reveiws!!! This week we are starting a brand new exciting "30's Mad Scientist" theme with the timeless classic Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1932).

This film was firing on ALL cylinders, beautifully adapting the source material, creating impressive practical sets, acting so good that Frederic March won an oscar, and cinematography so creative that most DPs today WISH they could immitate. I gave this film a 9/10 for all of the above and I cannot recommend it enough.

Also I was on Box Office Books podcast talking about The Color Out of Space (2019) and they just released our episode last Friday so click on the link here to check it out! It's a great time!!
