“I’m eager to hear your thoughts on this episode. If there’s a particular topic or person you’d like me to invite, feel free to share—I’m all about spreading the word!”

Emily Cox LCMHC, LCAS is the founder of Larkspur Therapy in Asheville NC.
Larkspur were used during the Victorian era as a means to ward off ghosts and evil spirits. It was common to plant larkspur flowers near the front door as a symbol of protection.

Therapy can be a place to sit in the darkness and find our way towards the light. It can be a place to talk about things freely, figure out what is not working, and find the path back to our grounded and authentic selves.

Much of her work with children and adolescents is focused on using expressive arts and play therapy techniques to supplement talk therapy. She supports children struggling with big feelings and teens working through interpersonal or family conflict. Her clients often struggle with self-image, identity, and regulation. she tries to help the misunderstood or unheard connect with their inner voice and learn how to use it with confidence.
