Constance Howard is a veteran broadcast journalist and former news director with over 35 years of experience in television news.
She made a significant mark in the industry, becoming one of the first African American women to serve as a news director in the United States. After decades in the industry, Howard experienced a turning point where she felt her voice was being diminished in the newsroom. This led her to step away from broadcast news and pursue a new path.
She now works as an executive coach, helping professional women build confidence and navigate personal and career transitions. Her story has been featured in podcasts and interviews, where she reflects on identity, reinvention, and the courage to change course after a long career
