Er. Bikash Gurung is the President of the Robotics Association of Nepal (RAN), a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing robotics and automation technology. With a personal vision to make local engineers globally competent, he has spent over a decade empowering young innovators through national and international platforms like the International Robotics Competition, Miss Tech, NASA Space Apps Challenge, and Girls in Robotics & AI. He has led collaborations with global and national institutions including Google, Microsoft, NAST, UNDP, and the US Embassy. He also serves on several national science, innovation, and ICT committees, and directs pioneering tech projects like Krishakcopter and Sister Robots.
