A regal Leo glow meets the clean edge of Virgo, and we use that contrast to turn noise into navigation. With a long afternoon void of course and a late-night lunar shift, the day invites a pause to assess what the full Moon revealed about courage, visibility, and the roles we’re ready to own. We unpack how the Moon’s opposition to the Aquarian lineup and a square to Uranus in Taurus correlate with shaky markets, restless headlines, and that itchy urge to react fast—then we offer a steadier route: use volatility as information, not instruction, and align your next moves with a systems view.

From there, we zoom into the quiet power of quincunxes—the subtle frictions that signal hidden variables and tiny turning points. Rather than chasing drama, we look for small adjustments that set up better outcomes when Virgo takes the wheel. Health and clarity get a boost from Mercury sextile Chiron, with Venus and the Sun lining up to extend the theme, so we suggest simple, durable upgrades that smooth your workflow and sharpen your thinking. It’s Imbolc, too, a seasonal reminder that light gathers under the surface long before spring breaks open.

We keep it practical: what to do during the void (organize files, consolidate notes, draft clean checklists), how to capture today’s recognition without losing momentum, and why tomorrow’s Virgo energy will reward prepared minds. Along the way, we weave in a slice of history—the timeless bottle cap and the complicated legacy of Governor William Phipps—to show how endurance and assessment often beat spectacle. By the end, you’ll have a clear, calm plan to bridge bold intent with careful execution.

If this helped you turn cosmic signals into concrete steps, follow the show, share it with a friend who needs a reset, and leave a quick review with your top takeaway. What will you assess—and improve—before Virgo arrives?

Okay, so Shane here at DailyAstrocat.com. And today is Monday, and it is the 2nd of February. Whoa. All right, so here we go. That escalates things quickly, right? The moon is in Leo, and it's voidacorse at 5.55 p.m. will enter Virgo at 10.21 p.m. That means f uh about, you know, uh four and a half hours of void of course moon, uh, particularly in the afternoon. Today is in bulk or groundhog day, depending on how you look at it. In any event, it's cold outside with the cold moon living up to its name. At least here in New England and in the middle part of the country, that's for sure. Now, how was the full moon last night? My moon water froze partially. And the pattern at the top was very Leonine looking. Carrie had kind of called that, right? She was like, oh, okay. Well, you know, that lion is a symbol of strength, courage, and rulership. So, with a regal lion in my moonwater, this is gonna nicely fall uh into yesterday's interpretation of the full moon, right? Assuming that that mantle of leadership and what we were thinking of doing as a culmination, not necessarily manifesting, because we got some work to do. All right. Um today the moon completes her opposition with the stallium and Aquarius. So she will check off uh Venus and Mercury uh on that trek. And we also find her square with Uranus and Taurus. Now, this is causing quite a bit of um instability uh in Taurus things, and Taurus things being uh mostly like investments like crypto and stuff like that. It's been massively just a route um in that. And it's it's been kind of volatile on um regular markets and securities as well. So we have to make sure that um, you know, this this volatility in the you know, and not only that, but this volatility in all sorts of uh public-facing things, right? It's just the you know, the news is dizzying as far as you know what's being said, what's being done, particularly in the United States. All right. So think about this. Today's keyword is assessment, and the color is zinc chromate primer. Uh it's kind of a strange green color, but it's a shade of green. Now, as we begin to don the mantle of leadership that the full moon presented us with, it is time to step back, all right, and get an overview of the big pictures of the tasks that were going to be that are going to be laid out before us. Kind of falls into place, right? We need to do this from a tech-focused, innovative position so as to involve the uh uh you know available aquarian elements that are available to us, non-aquarians, um, and be able to incorporate them into our vision for our roadmap moving forward. Virgo stuff, right? Mm-hmm. Not necessarily today, but tomorrow? Oh my goodness, it's gonna be Virgo AF. Okay, so think about this, because it's gonna be a focused moon. So all we have is a bunch of quinconks. So, what else do we have? Well, let's see. And those quinconces mean that we've got little mini culmination points that could be there. So pay attention to those Virgo uh placements, especially when we turn around later on this year into that Virgo season. So, with that being said, think about this. We are also expecting a little greater focus on health and some some benefit from that, uh, thanks to Mercury's sextile with Chiron. And what's that mean? That means that Venus will be sextile, Chiron, then the Sun will be sextile Chiron. Mars is gonna lag behind, Mars is gonna start lagging behind because Mars has a longer orbit than both Mercury and Venus. So, that's what we got. Now, we can consider what it is that we don't know today, or perhaps what we can't see. Those quinconxes, right? Yesterday's quincunk, they're still there. Those oppositions, yeah, we're we're we're um feeling some stuff intuitively, but it's logical, okay? It's gonna be logical, and it's gonna be about what we're attracting. Valentine's Day stuff, right? Yeah, Valentine's Day stuff. Valentine's Day stuff, and I gotta tell you, I was in a CVS that they had just built probably about two or three years ago. What a I mean, it was had water in the ceiling, had a broken window in it. I can't believe that it got so dilapidated so quickly. I wanted to say what a dump, but it was just like, oh my goodness, are you kidding? Um, I can't believe that they closed the one down here that we could walk to to open up that thing clear on the other side of the town and you know, across railroad tracks and everything like that. Bah. Alright, so anyway, there's a there's a little personal uh personal uh tangent just to go off on it. Now, look, we consider what it is we don't know, and that's because of those quinconks. We can't really see them. The okay, the moon arrives in Virgo too late today to really have any effect on our work day. And honestly, that void of course is gonna have you feeling like uh why would I, right? Especially, you know, after the workday's done. We're gonna get to work and it's gonna be like eh, you know, it's Aquarius. That's fine. You a little bit of a little bit of uh, you know, we use that aquarian energy because that's where the sun's at. That Leo energy that we have left over, well, that is where we're gonna find some um, for the lack of a better word, praise and uh accolades and reward, right? Because we made stuff happen. We had to do what we had to do. So it might be a great chance for that to get acknowledged because the real work's gonna start tomorrow when the moon enters Virgo. And uh, you know, after the moon enters Virgo, because it enters it tonight at 1021. But that's way too late here on the East Coast to actually do anything useful with that on the day. So, what do how do we make the best things that we do? Well, you know, look, we know that moon's coming in Virgo, okay? That's gonna happen tomorrow, but we're gonna take some first steps as we dig, you know, as we dig into the work week just a little bit today. You know, mostly it's gonna be like, hey, you know, it's a new month. We did a good job. We we did what we had to do. All right, so organize computer files later on tonight for the new year. I mean your personal computer files, right? Yeah, just consolidate them. Uh, you know, I know it should already be done, but you know, maybe tonight we have a great opportunity to do that because you know get that Virgo moon, right? We can be detailed about it, we can figure out what we need to do. All right, so in 1892, the bottle cap for beverages is patented by a U.S. inventor, William Painter. And guess what? It hasn't changed since then. Still used today, the good old-fashioned bottle cap, 1892. And our birth is in 1651. A certain person named William Phipps. He was born, um, he's a North American treasure hunter, military man, and administrator. He was the first governor of the Massachusetts Bay colony. He's born in Nequassett in the Massachusetts Bay Comp colony. Now, before you go get thinking about it, Nequassett is actually in Maine. Okay, so Maine was actually part of that Massachusetts Bay colony, but he's actually from Nequassett is part of Woolrich, Maine, which is near Bath. Interesting, right? So, before you think, you know, I because I saw Nequasset and I was like, what's Nequasset? I've never heard of that. Uh, you know, I I you know I'm from I recognize plenty of the these names like this because that's a that's a uh that's a Wampanoag name, right? Nequasset, Nequasset, Katamat, Picasset, yes, Sipawisset. Mm-hmm. Those are all names of villages on Cape Cod that have similar names to that village up in Maine. All right. Nequasset. Mm-hmm. Now, think about this. He was the governor of Massachusetts at the time of the Salem witch trials. And he actually was the one when he uh got summons back to England um to stand charges for customs or something like that. Um he was never he had never accused he never got convicted on anything like that because he ended up getting sick and dying before he uh did, but he was arrested in England on his return in uh 1695. So interesting, right? The the history on this is quite um extensive, only because he was friends with Increase Mather and Cotton Mather of the Salem Witch Trial fame. Salem Witch Trials fame. So that's all I have for you. And he was actually a very successful treasure hunter, so that was interesting as well. Let's recap, shall we? Today, our color is zinc chromate, zinc chromate primer, zinc chromate primer, yes, zinc chromate primer, and our keyword is assessment as we begin to assess what it is we need to do to don that mantle and wear it well, right? Regally, yes, if I were king of the forest, and that is all I have for you. Today is a five happy astro catting.
